    Good

    by K. on 1/30/19The Paramount - Huntington

The show was cute, Laurie was great . My only complaint was sitting on the balcony, the kids were excluded. She had balls going around and all of the kids on the balcony watched with disappointment as the kids below were having a blast. The tickets were not cheap either. Overall, pretty good experience

So Much Fun for the Kids

by Laura on 1/30/19The Paramount - Huntington

I took my 3 year old. We didn't really know any of her songs but I thought it would be something to get us out of the house. She had an amazing time. Laurie is great at getting the kids up and moving and involved. I loved watching my daughter sing and dance and have a good time.

    Laurie Berkner was so fun!

by AClevelandFan on 8/14/15Cain Park - Cleveland Heights

We all enjoyed this concert. The stage was simple. Laurie sang and played the guitar on a rug on stage. Everyone was encouraged to sing and dance. The children roamed, feeling free to sing and dance and play.

Laurie Berkner - Great first concert!

by Anonymous on 8/13/15Cain Park - Cleveland Heights

My husband and I took our 3 year old daughter to the Laurie Berkner concert at Cain Park, her first concert. Everything was nice. We arrived early and scoped out where everything was located. The Cain Park staff were so helpful, from directing us to the concessions stand for water (as well as the water fountain!), to the usher who got down to my daughter's level to show her the shirt the ushers were wearing so she knew what to look for if we got separated. The seats we had were amazing - 2nd row in the pavillion, right in the center! We bought a "My First Concert" t-shirt and a 'shakey egg' for our daughter. I was pleased to see the shirt was a good, sturdy quality. It made paying $20 a smidgen easier. But even the $20 is not unreasonable for concert swag. The $5 for the shakey egg was definitely worth it. The concert itself was great! My husband & I chuckled at the 'toddler mosh pit' in front of the stage. The kids all seemed to work together as well as kids in this age group can. We had fun trying to guess all the songs represented in the backdrop picture. Laurie and Susie were a great team, and it was fun to see them genuinely have fun performing & interacting with the kids. It was great to see the adults singing along & having fun right along with the kids. Laurie & Susie kept the kids involved, taught them hand motions to some songs, and even had a little something in there for the adults. It was wonderful to see how they really kept the age demographic in mind as they talked through different parts of what they were doing, and went a little deeper into the songs. The set list was great. A nice variety of newer & older songs. I couldn't believe Laurie actually named each animal the kids brought to 'put on their heads!' For the curtain call, Laurie explained how they have asked, and asked, and asked their fans what their favorite songs are, and that there are so many favorites, they just don't have enough time to sing all of them, but here was a medley of many songs & she hoped she was able to get at least a little of our favorites in there. It was so nice that she explained that on stage, as with this age group, meltdowns because their favorite song wasn't sung is quite an ordeal for parents. All in all, it was a fabulous afternoon for all three of us. We all enjoyed the concert & had lots of fun. I would definitely take my daughter to another Laurie Berkner concert.

by CleZooMusic on 8/12/15Cain Park - Cleveland Heights

I took my 2 yr old daughter to Laurie Berkner and she had a blast! The venue was great too, close parking and enough room for kids to run and dance in the lawn seats.

    Laurie Berkner was great

by Bear626262 on 4/21/15Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

My four year old granddaughter enjoyed the entire concert, but it is not just for children I greatly enjoyed it, too. My granddaughter has been listening to Laurie Berkner since she was born so she was familiar with all the songs. Some tips: Take a stuffed pig to put on your held when Laurie sings "Pig on your head". You may want to take a beach ball that your child can launch and follow as it gets batted around. (Be sure to warn your child that the beach ball will not come back.) My granddaughter was disappointed that she didn't get a single hit on a beach ball as they were being batted around, but she soon recovered.

    Great for kids!

by Guitarhead on 5/21/14The Concert Hall - New York

Laurie Berkner is a master at what she does - introduce kids to music in a way that's fun! Some might think its easy writing and performing kindie music, but I think it's actually harder. In any case, our kids love it!

    Always a treat

by GRUB212 on 5/20/14The Concert Hall - New York

Laurie knows how to deliver a great show for her fans. She plays your favorites and when adding new material to the mix she makes sure to keep the audience involved. Our son is 3 1/2 now and he has seen her 3 times, each time as good as the other. If you are on the fence, get off and get up & dance at the next concert. Your children will be happy . . . and so will you!

    AWESOME

by mommylistener on 2/4/14Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

Saw Laurie with her band last year, and this solo performance had all of our favorites - her energy and love come through on every song. Very family friendly - a great family memory for all of us!

Our family talked about Laurie Berkner for days!

by Ellyn157 on 2/4/14Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

We bought tix to see Laurie Berkner for our family as a Christmas present. Turned out to be one of the best presents they received, even if they had to wait til February to see her. They've talked about her for days since the concert, remember every song she sang in correct order, and keep asking when they can see her again. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is. Thanks, Laurie!!

Best family show EVER! Laurie Berkner is Awesome!

by HappyNashvilleMom on 1/31/14Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

We've waited 5 years for Laurie to play near us and we came from Nashville. Our 5 year old daughter has been listening and enjoying her music since she was months old. Laurie was on Jack's Big Music Show (which we miss) and she was wonderful on there. We had very good seats and it was great that ALL the kids were interacting with Laurie's show. We've paid a lot of money for other big name kids shows but Laurie's was by far the BEST! Our daughter had so much fun dancing and singing the songs she's known for years. Laurie played her old songs and her new songs. She didn't have her band but I really enjoyed it just being her and her guitar. She's so talented! We paid the VIP option so we could meet Laurie. Our daughter was mesmerized by talking to Laurie. Laurie was so kind and took her time in talking with our daughter and even gave her a memorable hug. We asked for pictures and autographs and Laurie never seemed bothered by any of it. We enjoyed the show but not as much as our daughter did. As a family it was by far one of the best times we've had.

    Laurie was excellant

by MomStacey on 1/30/14Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

My son and I were 3 rd row center and we had a blast, good sounds and Laurie was excellant. The only problem I had was some of the onstage light were so much in our eyes that we couldn't see her all the time, maybe a filter or something. Many parents around us made the same commentsw

    Fun time!

by AtlWTT on 1/29/14Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Totally kid appropriate! Lots of dancing, wonderful music, BEACH BALLS!!! We enjoyed Laurie. Her voice is amazing! She did not disappoint!! Maybe a different venue next time? The stairs and seating made me very uncomfortable while watching the kids dance. Overall, we would see Laurie again!

A great celebration for the holidays!

by momstudio on 12/17/13State Theatre - New Brunswick

We loved Laurie Berkner's concert! It was lively, colorful and fun. The music lasted close to two hours and we danced in our seats. She sang all our favorites and also the new Holiday album songs. Laurie rocks! It was so much fun, I hope she comes back again next year! We sang her songs all the way home.
