Lake Street Dive have pushed the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, not only through their eclectic sound--a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, and more--the five-piece's all-embracing ethos has also made them a beloved live band known for building a potent connection among every crowd. In the making of their GRAMMY-nominated album Good Together, vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison reinforced the deep sense of purpose behind their output, often turning their attention to the many factors driving us apart today (e.g., unchecked technological growth, culturally imposed isolation, the cult of relentless self-optimization). Born from a mindset they refer to as "joyful rebellion," Good Together arrives as a body of work both gloriously defiant and primed to inspire unbridled dancing and ecstatic singing-along.
The follow-up to 2021's Obviously, Good Together finds Lake Street Dive working again with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). With its sonic landscape encompassing everything from R&B to funk to Brazilian pop, the album opens on its title track: a left-of-center love song celebrating the thrill of defying expectation and following your heart's desire. Next, on "Dance with a Stranger," Lake Street Dive once again prove their undeniable gift for crafting feel-good songs with an illuminating message, simultaneously inducing a carefree euphoria and gently fostering empathy. The wildly cathartic "Walking Uphill" presents gripping meditation on the work of self-repair, while "Seats at the Bar" puts a sweetly playful twist on the classic love song. And on "Twenty-Five," Price shares a stark and lovely ballad steeped in tender reminiscence of a long-ago romance. All throughout Good Together, Lake Street Dive tap into the palpable camaraderie that's fueled the band since their formation, ultimately delivering their most collaborative, expansive, and powerfully exuberant work to date.

Pure talent. I'm glad bands like lake Street dive still exist. They have a real refreshing sound. What an amazing group of individuals.
Loved Lake Street Dive, their musical talent is extreme, material is creative and original, it was a great performance! And well priced! Only complaint about the event was time was listed as 7pm on the ticket, not “doors at 7”, but the event started at 8.
Lake Street Dive is an incredibly talented quintet, led by a singer who could be mistaken for the second coming of Janis Joplin. This set feted their latest release, but brought s number of cuts from their earlier efforts as well as some pleasant surprise covers from artists of the 70’s that came across recognizable but very original. Came up from San Diego for this and it was fantastic. Loved the Wiltern too. The opening act (Robert Finley) was similarly terrific.
Third time I've seen LSD, and they're just getting better. It was pretty clear they like playing at The Fillmore (a common sentiment).
My wife, who was not previously a Lake Street Dive fan, summed up both our reactions with an "Awesome!" She thought lead singer Rachel Price was a modest, wholesome young lady whose voice combines sweetness with the raw power needed to envelop this open forested venue. I was content with the group's addition of a new and obviously very talented member, who blends well with the already established group. I'm not a concert goer, and before this have paid only to see Fleetwood Mac and Earth, Wind & Fire, but Lake Street's performances on Colbert were sufficiently pleasing to get me to cross Puget Sound to visit the Ste Michelle Winery, and i'm glad I did: they are utterly mesmerizing in live concert, and I'll go again if they come to the Pacific Northwest. The winery is beautiful, its staff welcoming, and the seating comfortable enough. I'd recommend Lake Street to anyone. Superlative entertainment! Bravo!
Such a fun experience for a concert! Venue was well organized.
Excellent concert and good venue! Loved this group
Superb band musicianship and vocals marred by overamplification. Even the occasional rain didn't detract from from the crowd's enthusiasm or the quality of the music. Don't really know why the volume has to be cranked up to 11.
Rachel Price’s voice is a true gift. Plus the addition of the talented keyboard player to an already excellent band makes the experience outstanding.
This band has kind of a blues sound to them. Their lead singer is fabulous. The gal who plays the string bass is amazing. Over all a fun band to see.
The weather held up pretty well and the artists and their music didn't disappoint. It was a terrific atmosphere.
It is a rare artist who is better live, but Lake Street Dive is one of a handful in my experience. Sound at CSM was incredble, and their performance exceeded my expectations! I've only seen 2 other performers live (in 40 years of concert going) that I felt were better than their studio recordings. Also, the way LSD spotlighted all of their members was phenomenal - it wasn't just the Rachael Price show (although it could be, she is beyond talented). Mike Calabrese's cover of "You're Still the Onet" was such a sweet surprise, and a highlight of the night for me. Bravo, Lake Street Dive and Chateau St Michelle - even with PNW weather, the night was flawless.
This was my first time to see Lake Street Dive live and they did not disappoint. The lead singer has an amazing voice! I will definitely try to see them again.
Amazing show and they even stayed after to sign autographs
The Rad Trads were a great opener. Lake Street Dive came on the stage and set the crowd on fire. Rachael's vocals are something to behold and the band is unparalleled.
I discovered Lake Street Dive just a month or so before the concert through NPR Tiny Desk on YouTube. I knew immediately this band had something special and I could not have been more right. After seeing how many albums they've released, I'm shocked I hadn't heard of them sooner. They're an incredibly talented group, and the lead vocalist is electrifying. That's the only word I can find to describe her performance and talent. After the first song, my wife and I turned to each other and both said out loud 'She is fantastic.' Rachael Price's singing and dancing commands the attention of everyone in the room. While it's difficult not to focus solely on the lead singer, don't miss out on watching the other members master their craft before you. The bass player on her stand up bass, guitar, drummer, and keyboardist are all very talented and it's very evident in the quality of their performances. We've already purchased tickets to catch them on another leg of their tour and can't wait to watch our kids as they take in a live performance of this talented group.
Honestly, Lake Street Dive was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. They had high energy and were very receptive with the crowd. Plus they sound even better live. My only regret is that I didn’t know all of the songs! Listen to their albums before you go!!
1st class show! It's refreshing to hear a modern band that includes a trumpet and a stand-up bass in their repertoire. Stage and lighting were as professional as it gets. Rock, pop, soul, and jazz vocalist Rachael Price is a force to be reckoned with. The band's music speaks for itself. One of the most telling things about the band is the diversity of their audience. Gen Z'ers, Millennials, Gen X'ers, and Boomers can all be found under the same roof for this show. I'll be seeing Lake Street Dive any time they come into town from here on out.
The show was amazing! We were super close to one of our favorite bands. We had a great time.
Freaking amazing show ~ Rachael's voice is such a powerhouse!!
