About

Lake Street Dive have pushed the possibilities of pop music as a unifying force, not only through their eclectic sound--a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz, classic pop, and more--the five-piece's all-embracing ethos has also made them a beloved live band known for building a potent connection among every crowd. In the making of their GRAMMY-nominated album Good Together, vocalist Rachael Price, bassist/background vocalist Bridget Kearney, drummer/background vocalist Mike Calabrese, keyboardist/vocalist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist/background vocalist James Cornelison reinforced the deep sense of purpose behind their output, often turning their attention to the many factors driving us apart today (e.g., unchecked technological growth, culturally imposed isolation, the cult of relentless self-optimization). Born from a mindset they refer to as "joyful rebellion," Good Together arrives as a body of work both gloriously defiant and primed to inspire unbridled dancing and ecstatic singing-along.

The follow-up to 2021's Obviously, Good Together finds Lake Street Dive working again with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr.). With its sonic landscape encompassing everything from R&B to funk to Brazilian pop, the album opens on its title track: a left-of-center love song celebrating the thrill of defying expectation and following your heart's desire. Next, on "Dance with a Stranger," Lake Street Dive once again prove their undeniable gift for crafting feel-good songs with an illuminating message, simultaneously inducing a carefree euphoria and gently fostering empathy. The wildly cathartic "Walking Uphill" presents gripping meditation on the work of self-repair, while "Seats at the Bar" puts a sweetly playful twist on the classic love song. And on "Twenty-Five," Price shares a stark and lovely ballad steeped in tender reminiscence of a long-ago romance. All throughout Good Together, Lake Street Dive tap into the palpable camaraderie that's fueled the band since their formation, ultimately delivering their most collaborative, expansive, and powerfully exuberant work to date.

  • best show of my YEAR

by RBWAIA on 9/24/25713 Music Hall - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

I was only introduced to Lake Street Dive in the last 24 months but this was the best show I have seen all year! Talented musicians with voices to match. If you get the chance to see them live ... DO IT. Such a great show, high energy, people dancing and singing along. And the opening act The Dip was great as well. So glad we showed up on time to hear then and get in the groove for Lake Street Dive. GREAT BAND AND AND FANTASTIC SHOW

  • Horrible traffic ruined the show.

by Traffic ruined our night. on 9/23/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 3 out of 5

There was a UT football game same night as show which caused road closures and closed exits . We added extra time to arrive before opener, but missed The Dip. The traffic just caused us to have a horrible time. Never again will I buy tickets to this venue on a Saturday night during football season. Bought tickets before football schedule was released...should have sold them...live and learn.

  • Awesome music and experience

    by Shelley17 on 9/23/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

The opening band, The Dip, was great. The night and location was perfect. Lake Street Dive brought the house down!! So good, talented and energetic. The crowd was all in. Such an awesome show.

  • Awesome show!

by JaMick on 9/23/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Lake Street Dive. I’ve been listened to this band for about 10 years and finally got to see them perform in person. What a Fantastic experience. They are really talented musicians and the vocals were beyond amazing. Definitely will see them again when they come back to Austin, Texas. Hopefully that’s sooner than later.

  • Soulful Harmony: Lake Street Dive & The Dip Light Up Austin

by Mike on 9/23/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

On September 20, 2025, Lake Street Dive and The Dip transformed Austin’s Moody Amphitheater into a soulful celebration of music and connection. The Dip ignited the night with electrifying retro-soul grooves, their blazing horns and buttery vocals setting the crowd ablaze. Lake Street Dive followed, commanding the stage with Rachael Price’s powerhouse voice and the band’s infectious interplay. Hits like “Good Kisser” and “Hypotheticals” pulsed with life, each performer shining as both soloist and collaborator, showcasing star-quality talent in every note. The vibe was pure magic—thousands swayed and sang under the stars. As the show ended, a song (I can’t recall which) played over the PA system, and the entire crowd joined in, singing as one while streaming out of the amphitheater. It was an amazing, unifying moment, with smiles and euphoria spilling into the Austin night. This wasn’t just a concert; it was a spiritual experience, uniting performers and fans in shared joy. Thank you, Lake Street Dive and The Dip, for a night that hit every note perfectly!

  • A don't miss event!

by Mark on 9/23/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

If you have a chance to see Lake Street Dive, go! When I was young, I roadied many national acts in the northeast area. Setup sound, ran spotlights for 100's of events. This show was one of my top 3 favorites I have had the pleasure of listening to. Incredible vocals, brass section, keyboards, bass, and drums. You won't be disappointed.

  • Great Performance

First time seeing this band live and they were spot-on, spectacular!

  • One of the best

by Hope on 9/23/25Moody Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. The sound was amazing. The band was so engaged with the audience. Such a wonderful evening!

  • Good fun, engaging performance

by DScottA on 9/19/25The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

The Dip was great opening band and set stage for Lake Street Dive who performed on all cylinders an endearing and energetic show that had crowd singing along and dancing to the songs, some heard for first time. Very talented and expressive variety of tunes.

  • Absolutely Amazing!!

by Chip on 9/19/25The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I knew that I liked the band, but had no idea what their show would be like. It was incredible. Rachael Price's voice is angelic. The whole band brings energy and makes the show enjoyable. On a side note The Dip opened for them. I happened to get there early enough to see their whole performance. I had never heard of them before. Now I'm a fan. They were great. Their lead singer also has an amazing voice. I'm 45 and my daughter is 26. We both equally liked the show. It's for everyone.

  • Always amazing

by Jennie on 9/19/25The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

Lake Street Dive at the Orpheum was about as good as it gets. Fantastic performance in a beautiful venue and really fun crowd.

  • Lake Street was great, venue even better

by Donna on 9/15/25Steelhouse Omaha - OmahaRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time at the show. I had to go alone since my BF had to work. I wish I could have gotten a refund to free up the amazing balcony seats I had to that someone else could have bought them and gone as a couple. It looked sold out so it would have been nice if Ticketmaster or LSD or whomever would change their policy. Other than that. I saw the show for $450. The seats were great, the venue was amazing and Lawrence (the opening band) was entertaining and Gracie was such a star on the stage with a crazy good voice!! I took an Uber there so not sure how parking was.

  • Poor experience

    by Dave L on 9/7/25Kodak Center - RochesterRating: 3 out of 5

Did not like people standing and blocking my view when the main act started. No one in front of them standing to begin with.

  • Lotsa drums

by JayCee on 9/5/25Kodak Center - RochesterRating: 3 out of 5

I love Rachel Price and I’ve downloaded a lot of Lake Street Dive. But the performance was a disappointment. All I could hear was drums. You could barely hear Rachel’s voice, except for the two or three songs when the drummer was only on the tambourine.

  • Second time seeing them live.

by Wobbly on 9/5/25Kodak Center - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

Lake Street Dive puts on a great live show. The opening act, Penelope Road, was fun. This was my first visit to the theater at Kodak Center. Nice theater, though the restroom situation is a little lacking for that volume a crowd. Sound setup was very good. Loud enough to be clear over the hum of the crowd, but not so high that I felt the need to wear the ear plugs that I bring to every show. I wish bands would cut back on directing the lighting into the crowd. That recent thing has become ubiquitous and having to close my eyes every time the lights are shining in my face is really annoying.

  • Lake Street Dive !!!! Yes

by BobbyC on 9/5/25Kodak Center - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome building !! Comfortable seats and easy parking !! Both bands rocked the house and were top notch performers !

  • Fantastic show as always!

by Rachel on 9/5/25Kodak Center - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

Though I liked the show I saw last summer in Buffalo at the outer Harbor a bit better they are and always will be fantastic !

  • I love this band, but the show was too loud

by Liz on 9/4/25Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 4 out of 5

I really love the poppy harmonies and soulful singing in this band, as well as the amazing players-all of them. But either the venue or the band thought that louder was better, and many subtleties were lost in the volume of the instruments-especially the drums and guitar. Sometimes I couldn't hear the song, the melody, at all.

  • Taylor Who?

by Mr. Critical on 9/3/25Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

Rachael Price is one of the best female singers in popular music. Period. Taylor Swift would kill a Kelsey brother to have her voice. Enjoyed the show, but the band has evolved into more of an alternative rock act than the quirky acoustic trio I fell in love with many years ago. All the drums, electric guitar and keyboards kind of drowned out a lot of Bridget Kearney's amazing bass work. I guess that's what they had to do to play large venues. It's America, so, go make that money. Still, a great, under-appreciated band.

  • Great show at a great venue

by TJHeld on 9/3/25Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

Overall a great concert experience - opening act (Penelope Road) put on a terrific show. LSD ran through a wide range of material from a couple of their early hits to one that will be on their next album. Great lighting, great sound (mostly - overdrove the vocals on Penelope Road a couple of times), at one of my favorite venues (Akron Civic Theater).
