  • Joyous

by Xica on 2/22/19Lincoln Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

The beauty of male human voices in perfect harmony brought tears to my eyes. Beautiful and meaningful melodies with only vocal accompaniment produced a rich, layered, and textured materpiece of sound. One of the best concerts I've ever attended at my favorite venue, the Lincoln Theatre.

  • Consistent Performers

by Gran on 2/22/19Lincoln Theatre - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

Ladysmith Black Mambazo provides a great show. The performance was the basically the same as the one we enjoyed a year ago at Denison University, including the jokes. The group has a wonderful heritage and the sons are doing a wonderful job of continuing their message.

  • Thoroughly Entertaining

by Kathy on 2/22/19Lincoln Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

LBM offers the audience the experience of outstanding novelty. This a cappella choir surprises and delights the audience with beautiful sound and “dance”. I look forward to their next visit to Columbus.

  • One of the best concerts

    by M. C. on 2/18/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

A very different experience from most of the concerts I have seen but this was such a joyous and magical time. I would highly recommend to anyone.

  • Best time ever!

    by M. S. on 2/18/19Sony Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time at Ladysmith concert but my husband used to go every year with his friend. I didn’t really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at their energy, choreography and ability to entertain. Was worth every dollar and more!

Beautiful harmony, impressive cheoreography, and an obvious joy in song. I really enjoyed their performance!

  • Fantastically uplifting

by Martha on 1/30/19Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Soul singing right to the heart! I felt the sounds of Ladysmith to be a heart opening sound presented as a gift to the audience. At once deeply touching and fun loving, brothers in unique chorus delivered fantastic sound.

  • This performance brought back many good memories.

by Marybay70 on 8/15/18New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I really enjoyed Ladysmith Black Mambazos' performance at the NJPAC. The music brought back memories of the first time we listened to the Graceland album. We used to sing our hearts out at home along with the album in our families take on karaoke in our living room. Hearing and seeing the group in person was so wonderful. Their harmonics brought me to tears. The venue was great too, parked across the street, good seats. Best of all we didn't have to fight traffic in Manhattan.

  • So much fun!

by ktjankabar on 8/8/18New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Knew the music and moves would be entertaining but didn't know how much we would laugh. The guys are so fun on stage and it was great to meet a few after the show (signing and pictures). Would definitely go again!!

  • LBM Delightful

by LynandCy on 8/8/18New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Their spirt, performance and sound are at once uplifting, delightful, stirring and inspiring. At the same time, listening to them is relaxing and almost meditative. We can't wait until they return.

  • What great harmonies

by subscriber on 1/24/18Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

It's no wonder that Ladysmith Black Mazambo is always the winner of musical awards. Their harmonies keep the audience enthralled. The performance was fully worthwhile, though we must admit that the venue, The Neptune Theatre, could use some substantial updating to make it customer friendly for this kind of event.

  • Ladysmith Black Mambazo was amazing!

We enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend them. So glad we went.

  • Ladysmith Black Mambazo was Awesome!!!

by Dalhouse on 3/13/17B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing them, my husband who knows the group bought the tickets. I was amazed that they did not have one instrument or sound track. All they used were their voices and created such beautiful music.

Amazing performance! Definitely will see them again.

  • Ladysmith

by Anonymous on 3/6/17Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the show. Saw them in Sacramento 20 years ago and was so glad they came to my favorite theater in North Carolina. I only wish I could go to one show that there isn't a political comment.

  • Fantastic Show

by JoeJustin on 3/5/17Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

LBM is one of my favorite singing groups at the top of my Pandora list. I had sen them before in Clayton, several years ago, and jumped at the chance to see them again. Their harmony is terrific; their message if important; their agile dancing is fun to see.

  • Carolina Theater ROCKS

    by MMC51264 on 3/5/17Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Spectacular performance, great venue! Ladysmith is a timeless group that's just as inspirational as when I discovered them 30 years ago! Please return to North Carolina soon!

What a thrill seeing the original members of Ladysmith! Brought back great memories of seeing them perform with Paul Simon.
