Knew the music and moves would be entertaining but didn't know how much we would laugh. The guys are so fun on stage and it was great to meet a few after the show (signing and pictures). Would definitely go again!!
Their spirt, performance and sound are at once uplifting, delightful, stirring and inspiring. At the same time, listening to them is relaxing and almost meditative. We can't wait until they return.
It's no wonder that Ladysmith Black Mazambo is always the winner of musical awards. Their harmonies keep the audience enthralled. The performance was fully worthwhile, though we must admit that the venue, The Neptune Theatre, could use some substantial updating to make it customer friendly for this kind of event.
We enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend them. So glad we went.
This was my first time seeing them, my husband who knows the group bought the tickets. I was amazed that they did not have one instrument or sound track. All they used were their voices and created such beautiful music.

Loved the show. Saw them in Sacramento 20 years ago and was so glad they came to my favorite theater in North Carolina. I only wish I could go to one show that there isn't a political comment.
LBM is one of my favorite singing groups at the top of my Pandora list. I had sen them before in Clayton, several years ago, and jumped at the chance to see them again. Their harmony is terrific; their message if important; their agile dancing is fun to see.

Spectacular performance, great venue! Ladysmith is a timeless group that's just as inspirational as when I discovered them 30 years ago! Please return to North Carolina soon!

what a great performance by these very talented singers...I'm still trying to figure out what kind of hamstring stretches they do to be able to do those kicks while they are dating..
We had a great time. Total enjoyment and appreciate the the small intimate setting at the Parker Playhouse.
Ladysmith was totally awesome. This is our third time to see them and they are more and more enjoyable.
They are absolutely talented acapella singers. However the songs were very repetitious with the singers standing mostly in one spot singing. Maybe it was pared down for the discounted tickets of the Smart Stage Matinee? A bit underwhelming. I guess my expectations were higher, as they have recorded with Stevie Wonder and another famous artist. Maybe more of a background rhythmic sound.
Fabulous harmonies, high energy dance moves and humor combine to make this a really entertaining event.
We loved it. The singers were entertaining and had beautiful voices and songs to share. We'd recommend it to any music lover. A unique sound and we loved the dance steps too!
