La Cage Aux Folles Tickets

Loved the show. Very entertaining, especially the transvestites dancing and singing. The opening act with Lily Whiteass was awesome, very funny. The only thing George Hamilton was missing from the show, but the actor who played his part was good. Zaza's actor was great.

Very disappointed an understudy was used for George Hamilton's part. The ad for the show featured him as the star and to use an under-study Without the chance for a refund was unfair.

The show was energetic and fun. However, we wanted to see George Hamilton and he was out. His understudy started a little slow and stiff, but eventually got better in the role. The actor that played Albin was excellent and did an excellent job. The rest of the actors were hit or miss, except for the maid "Jacob" who was absolutely horrible! Jumping around the stage, running and prancing, and virtually unintelligible. Hi accent was so thick and every time he blurted out a line while yelling or turned away from the audience, one could not understand anything he said. This overacting clown did not understand his part, and seemed like he was in a circus act. It was almost like watching 2 separate shows: an overbroad screeching farce, and a sweetly tender comical musical. It was very jarring switching between the two. Overall, I enjoyed the performance notwithstanding the faults and poor acting. The Cagelles were superb and extremely athletic. Albin and the Cagelles were the highlings of the show.

Sunday was a great performance, the George Hamilton replacement was amazing! Bravo

Great show! great acting, and very funny..........

I loved the stand up comedy that began the night and I loved the way the cast ended the performance. Great performace by everyone and a delightfully entertaining show.

The play was excellent and well performed with a very interactive and entertaining cast!

I took my sister for her 71st birthday. Roared with laughter. Loved George Hamilton. Amazed by the chorus. What a performance by the lead. Loved it...Loved it.

Wonderful from beginning to end. the singing was great. At times had a hard time hearing George Hamilton and at times he spoke too fast

What a disaster; we left at the end of the first act. Poorly cast and an awful rewrite of what was a wonderful original. Yech.

About the only good thing in the play was Albin (Christopher Sieber). He, as the significant other for George Hamilton, was excellent. George was not so good, and the balance of the cast was just okay. The playhouse, Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, has seen its day, the sound system was horrid - sometimes you couldn't hear what the actors were saying. All in all, it was a waste of money.

One of the funniest musicals! Chris Sieber was outstanding as Zaza! This is a definite must see!!

Fortunately, I read a couple reviews of this production before attending. Therefore, I was prepared for a departure from what I remember from the original (outstanding) Broadway play. This version had more slap-stick comedy which is rather demeaning to the characters and to the audience...the play is solid and doesn't need the comedy. Good ole George Harrison. What a guy. I applaud him for hanging in there...although I thought he might not make it through the play. The play is a gem...I just wish they had left out the cheap slapstick. Despite that, it was still a wonderful evening!!!

Another amazing road show! Great cast, great costumes, better than usual sound. Excelelent spot light operator.

The play was excellent but the acoustics continue to be awful. You can hardly hear. George Hamilton was a disappointment; his partner saved him. Loved Lily whiteass.

This is the 2nd review I make over the high quality of the shows you guys brings to Orlando. Super cast, Stage, Background, Music - all the best of Broadway. On behalf of a local I say Thank You for bringing those shows down here. As far as La Cage Aux Folles - WOW - OMG!!!
