La Boheme Tickets

I live in Minneapolis but often go to the opera in Milwaukee as a little weekend retreat. La Boheme was beautifully performed by The Florentine Opera. The sets were perfect and familiar - very much like the Met Opera's sets. The highlight of the opera, for me, was Noah Stewart, Rodolfo. He is an engaging actor and has the kind of effortless tenor voice that I could listen to all day. I didn't love Alyson Cambridge as Mimi. I prefer those upper notes in "Mi chiamano Mimi" to be sung pianissimo without the dramatic crescendo that Ms. Cambridge infused. But, to be fair, she did perform the role very well overall. Matthew Treviño as Colline sang a heart-breaking "Vecchia zimarra senti" and it was beautiful. Katrina Thurman as Musetta was very good, but her voice did not carry well over the orchestra. Corey McKern as Marcello was excellent, and Scott Johnson was a wonderful Schaunard. Florentine Opera only performs each opera twice, so "La Boheme" is now long gone. I do, however, recommend checking them out next season! I know that I will.

This was the first time my wife or I have been to the Opera. La Boheme is a must see and the wife absolutely loved getting all dressed up for the event!

We loved the singers, the costumes, the scenery, and the props. The actors were so spirited and seemed truly dedicated. One of the best productions of La Boheme I have seen.

Excellent. We really enjoyed the show and the performers where great.

Every time I go to the bardavon I have a great time. the only trouble was with the subtitles on the bottom of the screen. They were very difficult to read for most people. The subtitles should be at the top of the screen.

The show was great...orchestra was top notch and the singing and acting was excellent as well.

This Opera was enjoyable for a veteran opera audience and a first time person.

Great show! Only wish the pep ole in El Paso were more courteous and not talk during the show.

This is an excelente production. Just the lyrics were frozen some times.

I enjoyed it very much! I loved that it was romantic and funny at the same time. Unfortunately, my seat was located in the very top corner of the auditorium. I would have posted 5 stars if my seat was in a better location. So next time, Ill pay a little more for a better seat. But overall, the music was beauitful!

I have seen a whole lot of BOHEME, but this performance was perfection personified. The voices were so strong and beautiful, I cried many times from the sheer beauty of it. Thank you Puccini, and thank you Lyric Opera House.

I decided to get something different for my wife's birthday. Neither of us has ever been to an opera. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. The acting and staging was incredible. We definitely want to see more operas in the future.

This was the second time I have seen la Boheme at the Lyric. The first time was several years ago. I loved it as much this time as I did the first time.

It was absolutely amazing! I could see it again and again! The cast was spectacular!

I love this opera, saw it for the first time at the Metropolitan Opera House in NY some years ago, so happy to see it at the Lyric Opera house in Baltimore, the cast was stunning. Took my husband who is not fond of the opera, he actually enjoyed it, he could follow without reading the sub titles and he commented that the details in the scenes looked real, especially the out doors snow scene.

We really enjoyed the performance of La Boheme. It was our first live opera experience and we were just blown away. We were especially impressed by Marcello. We would really love to see more like this in Baltimore.

My first time at the opera, and La Boheme was a great story. I was really impressed with the set and the costumes, but I'm not "qualified" to comment on the singing itself - it sounded good is about all I can say, I suppose. Bits of comedy, a lot of romance...I was well entertained from beginning to end. Kudos to the cast and everyone involved in its production! Thanks for an awesome time!

Performance was fabulous. Sets and costumes were well-made and believable. Definitely recommend if you enjoy opera.

The performance was so enjoyable. The orchestra and performers were flawless. Its wonderful to have opera back in Baltimore.

The actors and actresses each brought something enjoyable to the show, but the BSO was impeccable and performed wonderfully. The Lyric is a great place to view a stage performance, practically no seats in the house are 'bad'.
