Bridgestone Invitational was a good time. Well organized and run. Parking was free but kind of far away- about a 10 minute bus ride. But there were plenty of busses with very little wait. Concessions and portolets were well positioned and ample, at least for the Friday round. Surprisingly cell phones were allowed in but only usable in restricted areas and no pictures. People seemed to respect the rules with only few exceptions. Good time.
It was outstanding. What's not like when you can get up close to the best golfers in the world, on one of the best golf courses in the world!
This is the second time in a row that me and my step-son has attended the second round of the Bridgestone Invitational. We go on the second day because the crowds aren't as large as they are during the weekend. Children under 18 gets in free with a paying adult. Free public parking and free transportation to and from the golf course. $45 is well worth the experience.
The event was very well organized. The free parking with shuttles to/from the golf course was convenient. We didn't realize how close we would be able to get to the world's top golfers. It was very exciting.
The course is the winner. The players are extra special, especially seeing Tiger and Phil, but it was difficult to experience the drama that it created on TV. Of course, it was only the second round, and the most drama does not appear until Sunday afternoon. There were relatively few locations that met the standards of (1) ability to see the players putt, (2) in the shade during the heat of the day, (3) a place to sit. I am over age 70 and finding a place that meets these standards is important to me. In the future, I will arrive early and bring a comfortable folding chair that I can place in the few such locations.
Gorgeous greens, tantalizing tees, pro players, wonderful weather . . . what else is there!
It was an amazing time at the Bridgestone Invitational! We will have to do that again!
Never got my tickets, was on vacation before the event so was not able to get a refund do to return time from vacation. So overall the experience was terrible and I will stick with stub hub
This was my daughter's and my first PGA gofl tournament and what a wonderful experience. We followed Phil for his 18 and followed Tiger for his back 9. The event was spectacular from FREE parking with shuttle to the course and the immaculate condition of the grounds and course. This was really a class act in every since...my daughter and I will be going every year from now on!
4th year going, awesome time. The crowds for Tigar were huge for a Thursday. Course was in great shape. Cant wait for next year.
great day!!!! food and drinks were too pricey!!!!!
We had an opportunity to watch the practice round of the Bridgestone Firestone World Golf Championship and it was great! These guys really know how to play the game of golf! Some of their shots were amazing! I can only imagine how much time goes into perfecting their swings, tempo etc.
Great event. The Bridgestone has always been a favorite and the number of players that stopped and signed autographs and took pictures with my daughter was a huge plus! There will always be a few who don't sign enough or seem to not want to deal with fans but overall, it was a lot of fun. If you are seeking autographs, go on the practice round day(s) as players are more relaxed and more willing to sign, don't go to the actual tournament days looking for a lot of autographs and pictures and please remember to turn the cell phones off. They are annoying to the players and the rest of us. Parking was well marked and everyone was pleasant to deal with. Recommended!!
This was my first time attending the Invitational and I loved every minute of it. I am finally learning to play and have completely fallen in love with the sport. I was impressed by the friendliness and talent of the players at the event. I thought Rory and Michelson were exceptional at spending as much time with their fans as possible. It is obvious that both of these gentlemen are not only talented golfers but appreciate their fans. The event was well-managed and easy to navigate. My only suggestion would be to list the tee times in the program to better assist the spectators in finding their favorite players. Overall, this was an experience I will never forget and I am looking forward to attending many more!!!
Amazing...most of the players were extremely fan friendly...although there was the few snobs...even got Tiger Woods to sign my hat 5Stars
Bridgestone Invitational is great event for all ages, whether a golfer or non-golfer. Everyone I've ever brought has been thrilled to see the game from the live perspective. If you've never gone before, give it a try.
the course was better than it looked on tv. My wife and I walked the entire course on Saturday and it was walker friendly. Only problen was the regular spectator stands had no canopy overhand for shade. Will definately be there next year
We had a wonderful time at the Bridgeston Open. It was very well organized and being my first time at this event I was amazed at the closeness to the golfers. We had to be very alert but it was a lot of fun.
The course is beautiful. Parking and access to the grounds is seamless and easy. Free parking and shuttle to and from course. Watching the pros so close is amazing! I will definately be going back in 2011.
