Great event

Pay to park is new this year, school buses vs. coach to and from the parking area. Food and drinks overpriced. And, lastly, 50/50 booths new this year.
My son and I went to our first tournament this Sunday. It was awesome. The rain delay was tough and it would have been nice if there were better instructions on where the fans could go and maybe some large tents with chairs so fans could at least sit and stay dry. We knew we had to get off the course but there really wasn't anywhere to go. I also found out I overpaid for me and my 13 year old son. The man who took our tickets said under 18 free with adult. I did not see that when I purchased my two tickets. I have no idea where/what my ticket seat numbers were for.
This was the first time I've been able to go to this event but now I'm hooked. My son and I are already planning for next year. This year we did just a one day event (Saturday) and enjoyed it so much we are looking to do the whole weekend if not the whole week.
Had a great time watching the Bridgestone Invitational! Can't wait until next year!
Lots of great spots for viewing multiple holes. Have gone several years and always a great time
Course was in great shape! The golfers were phenomenal! I really enjoyed being so close to the golfers. You can feel their emotions. You know when it is a good shot or that really bad shot.
Spectacular venue! One thing I can think of to improve the experience would be to have shown more highlights on the big screen near the 10th tee that is viewed from the 18th grandstands. Sitting at 18, as the final groups were coming through, we heard the huge roars as Furyk, Oostheisen, and Bradley all birdied at 16, and it would have been great to have seen replays of their shots to see just what caused those huge roars! One more suggestion is to be more consistent with upholding the camera/cell phone rules. I'll admit I did break the rules a few times to photograph some of my favorite players, but it was only when Tiger's group came through that I was ever told not to take photos. Even on 18 with Furyk and Bradley so close, the tournament on the line, no one said anything about not taking pictures. It was only Tiger's group, and he wasn't even close to being in the hunt. I have no problem with putting my camera away when asked, but when that's only for one player it was aggrevating, especially when that player is the one who draws so many to the course as it is.
2nd year in a row going to the Bridgestone Inv. Weather is always nice the day I go so no complaints yet. Seen some better shots outta my own bag than the ones on 12 Saturday.
Overall good experience, staff was friendly! Don't come hungry, had the worst hamburger ever! It was 10 a.m. but was sitting around a long time.
A great day, rain delay in the morning but it didn't seem to bother the fans or the golfers. Firestone sets up great for spectators where you can watch several holes within a few steps. Fifth time I've been here and I'll be back next year for sure.
The grounds are so well kept and neat and crowd treated great by all volunteers. Golf wasn't too bad either!! You gotta go!!
The course was amazing and good condition. All the volunteers were helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed to watch the game. We want to come back this tournament again.
After rain the grounds scoreboards were not updating. So you never knew who was doing what where. A MAJOR bummer.
We attended the Bridgestone Golf Tournament on Friday. It was very hot but we enjoyed watching the Pros. We go for one day every year. It's amazing how good the players are. We especially like to watch from behind the 16th hole. We do however walk around the course and try to see all of our favorites, Tiger, Duffner, Michelson (didn't have a good tournament), Bubba etc. It was a great day. Food was good and reasonable which isn't always the case at sporting events.
Firestone Country Club was very nice. It would've received five stars if it wasn't for the parking situation and the stupid rules (no pictures of the scoreboard even AFTER the tournament is over).
Great course with many opportunities to be an arm length away from the world's greatest players. Not only did I have a great time but 3 generations of the family accompanied me and they had a fantastic time as well. BTW, the military tickets got my father to the course for the very first time and it was amazing sitting elbow to elbow with America's heroes talking golf.
It is a good tournament but not much room to seat in the bleachers.
The Bridgestone Invitational was an awesome event. Really fun to be at a golf tournament.
I loved every second of the tournament. There were a lot of great golfers there, the course is beautiful, and I'm definitely going again next year. The only downer is that they strictly enforce the no picture/video rule (more so around Tiger Woods, they even had a short guy going around, hunting for phones that weren't in peoples' pockets), so I didn't get many pictures of athletes.
