I have been attending this event at Firestone CC for 35 years. Always a great time watching the finest golfers in the world only 5 minutes from home at one of the great golf courses.
The venue was great, I've always loved to go to Firestone. The weather didn't cooperate for a few hours, but I had a great time. It's great to see players slightly more relaxed and engaged with the fans more
This golf course is beautiful and accessible. Saw hundreds of spectators managing the walk in sun and rain. There are cart paths for wheel chairs. We tend to stay close to clubhouse. Fun event to see our favorite golfers up close.
I go to Bridgestone every year because I love the course and the tournament is just amazing to watch.
From the best professional golfers to the excellent Firestone Country Club, the event was of the highest caliber. Special thanks goes out to the staff and volunteers who do an outstanding job every year. As a veteran I'm extremely proud of the support given for the Patriots' Outpost. Looking forward to the 2013 Bridgestone Invitational.
This was our second year going. We enjoy every minute of the tournament. The only negative I have is not being allowed to bring in water. It gets a little expensive on a hot dy when you have to keep buying water. Maybe the price of water can go down some? Other than that, we are looking forward to next year!
This was my fourth year going and will continue to go. Course is in great shape and always has the top 50 golfers at this event.
I believe this was both me and my son's 4th year attending this tournament and as usual it did not disappoint. These guys are good! We watched Bubba Watson hit his drive on the Monster 16th around 400 yards plus! I heard he had around 225 left and hit a 7 iron for his second shot, incredible! Firestone is a beautiful venue and Bridgestone puts on a very nice event. I would recommend a professional golf event to anyone who loves the game, again to relinquish the point "These guys really are good!"
Went on Saturday. Parked at blimp hanger . Wife had to put her purse back in the car cause it was too big. Took bus over to course. Mostly stayed on the back nine. Great crowd. Very hot. Had a bite to eat . Stayed til 3pm. Had great time.

This was my 2nd visit to the Bridgestone Invitational with my son. Very enjoyable and very organized. I will be back. My only complaint is that smoking is allowed anywhere on the grounds. I feel there should be designated areas, just like all other outdoor sporting events I attend. In fact, some of the events I attend don't allow it anywhere in the stadium. I realize this is a much larger venue and not in a stadium, but there still needs to be a little more control. At times it was extremely annoying, especially for my son.
Best golf tournament I've been to. Bridgestone really knows how to hold an event. Firestone GC is gorgeous. I'll be coming back next year for sure.
Firestone is a beautiful course that is set up for up-close access to the players. Easy to walk or just set up at the hole of your choice. Parking and concessions were easily accessible and not unreasonably priced for a sporting event. Great job!
I have been to several Bridgestone events over the years. This was by far the best even considering the rain delay. The price for the tickets was such a "deal" at two for the price of one and any day of the tournament. We selected the Sunday final round and were so pleased with seeing the event.
The event was well-organized. There was no wait to get on the shuttles to the course. There were adequate seats in the bleachers when we arrived. The scoreboards were placed in convenient places for viewing. We enjoyed the whole day. I have no idea where our seats were and neither did the people at the entrance gate.
Great tournament. Great golf course. We had a great time attending 3 of the 4 days. I have two complaints. First - the food. We ordered a turkey spinach wrap to share. Each of us took a half - as we lifted it up out of plastic container you could see brownish liquid dripping off (no, I'm not kidding). We each took a bite and almost gagged. It was so wet and slimy that it was like a wash cloth recently dunked in water. I can't believe we spent $8 and had to throw it away. I also don't understand why a diet soda that came as a 12oz can cost the same as a regular soda that came as a 20oz bottle. The second complaint was all the smokers. I can't believe the number of people smoking in a crowd. Just about every place we stood/sat someone close by would light up, letting their smoke blow over us and the crowd. Please make designated smoking areas or just make the tournament non-smoking.
It was the funnest day of my life. Amazing. I can't believe the pro's can hit the ball that far
Overall a good experience. They course was excellent and site lines were good. Would like to have seen live coverage on big screens for gallery. Scoreboards were a little slow with updates. Really appreciated information during rain delay that it would be 3+ hours before play resumes. That kept us from standing around for that period of time. Also allowing us to reenter was very accomodating.
My wife of more than 50 years and I attended the event on Friday. We enjoyed the whole day sitting on our chairs next to the tenth green - almost close enough to reach out and touch the players as they missed putt after putt. We were close to the concessions and also close to the porto potties - excellent location. Also, we were in the shade - the sun was very warm. We had a great day.
