KASABIAN IN CONCERT:

British neo-psych icons Kasabian continue to dominate the British rock landscape, matching their four No. 1 albums with equally impressive live performances. The band's energy and showmanship have made them a frequent headlining act at festivals around the world, and their legendary live shows are widely considered some of the most electrifying in the business. Whether they're tearing through their breakout single "Club Foot" or treating fans to cuts from their 2014 LP 48:13, Kasabian are a consummate live act that get the adrenaline pumping every time they take the stage.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Kasabian formed in Leicester, England in 1997, spending their early years performing local shows and recording demos. They released their first official single "Processed Beats" in 2003, and in 2004 they skyrocketed to success with their self-titled debut album. Propelled by Top 20 singles like "Club Foot" and "L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)", the album peaked at No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart, earning stellar reviews and making them critical darlings both at home and abroad. After extensive touring, the band released their 2006 sophomore album Empire to a No. 1 spot on the British charts. Since then they've topped the UK Albums Chart with three more albums, won NME's Best Live Act award, and been named "Best Group" at the 2010 Brit Awards. Kasabian continued their reign in 2014 with the release of their chart-topping fifth album 58:13, thrilling fans with another high-octane tour in support of the record.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Kasabian is the real deal. They put a tremendous amount of energy into their performance and If you are fortunate enough to have an opportunity to experience them live, you will leave a bigger fan. No gimmicks with this band, they play hard."

"Great English band...they really moved the crowd and the intensity of the music helped."

"As usual Kasabian put on a wonderful show, both musically and visually. Tom was his megalomaniacal self and Serge was beyond great. The show was fantastic and I wished it didn't end when they got off stage for the final time."

  • Great Show! Poor Sound Mixing

by MontiMan on 11/26/23The Belasco - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

(More like 3.75 stars ) Staff at Belasco was great considering power outage. Show itself started late due to said outage and bypassed the opening act. I feel bad for the band and their fans who came to support them. As for Kasabian, great energy and Sergio got the crowd involved! But for some reason, the sound seemed off. Struggled to hear the bassist on some great riffs and solos and vocals got drowned out at times and distorted at other times. Maybe I'm just spoiled by attending so many Muse concerts. But overall, great show and I am glad I had the chance to see them live. Who knows when they will make their way back to LA.

Power outage caused a big delay - and also screwed up where people were standing, how close to the stage they were. So despite getting in early, to be near the front, having spent extra money for "Fast Lane Access", after the power came back on and people were let back into the main room, many more people were somehow already there, so I was much farther back with a worse view. I don't understand how there isn't a refund available for the Fast Lane Access. Show was great though.

This event did not happen due to a power failure at the venue. We were not permitted inside. I do hope that I will get refunded for my ticket purchase. Working on that now, hopefully I will not have trouble getting a refund.

  • Top 5 Concert of all time!!

by Sho Nuf on 11/20/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTONRating: 5 out of 5

I've been waiting 17yrs to see Kasabian and let me tell you...they delivered!!! Hit after hit. The energy they brought was beyond measure. And man, they sounded great! American audiences tend to be conservative, but not this night. Signing along, dancing, jumping. The only complaint...could've played a few more songs. But hey, next time. Plus not having been to 9.30 in almost 20yrs, it was a awesome spot to see the band.

  • Kasabian was on fiiiiiirrrrrrreeee

  • Great band, best DC venue

    by Nik T on 11/18/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTONRating: 5 out of 5

Finally got to see Kasabian live after missing them for a number of unusual reasons. They were great. Lots of energy and good choice of songs. 0930 club is best live music venue in DC, so this added to the atmosphere.

  • WOOOOO!!!!!

by Suzanne on 11/18/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTONRating: 5 out of 5

Kasabian was amazing!! Fans from the beginning, but had never been able to experience them live until now. We flew from Atlanta to meet up with a friend from Richmond to make the Kasabian show at the 9:30 Club. We had so much fun! I did not want the night end!

Always one of the top live shows in the business. First time I’ve seen them without Tom, and although he’s missed Sergio and the guys make up for it. Can’t wait to see them again.
