Journey is a multi-platinum-selling rock band from San Francisco, California. Originally formed by former members of Santana, the Steve Miller Band and Frumious Bandersnatch, the band’s current lineup includes guitarist and backing vocalist Neal Schon, lead vocalist Arnel Pineda, keyboardist and guitarist Jonathan Cain, keyboardist Jason Derlatka, bassist Todd Jensen and drummer Deen Castronovo. After releasing a few albums — including their self-titled 1975 debut — throughout the early ‘70s, Journey reached a new height of commercial success on the charts with Infinity (1978), Evolution (1979) and Departure (1980), all of which were certified multi-platinum in the U.S. The band earned their first chart-topping album in 1981 with Escape, which also yielded massive hits like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Open Arms.” Over the decades, Journey has continued to release studio albums and tour the world as one of the best-selling rock acts in music history, with their most recent album, Freedom, released in 2022.

The tickets were easy to get. The seats were awesome. The two bands were great. I love toto and journey.
Toto was amazing! They were fun, performed well, and were so great to see in person. Journey was great too, though they could have turned the volume down a tad so I could understand the singer better. Their songs also lasted maybe 1 minute longer than necessary. Otherwise really great.
Amazing performance. Would love to see them again! Brought back all my teenage memories. The venue was good for the size of crowd.
I know you can't expect much from arenas like the Maverick center, but a lot got lost in the wash of the sound. Hard to make out the subtleties of the music, with tons of low end and super loud(I don't mind loud, when its got clarity). Anyhow Journey and Toto were great though. Would see them again at a different venue. Ticketmaster was a good experience.
Pineda was phenomenal and Journey was off the chart. Toto was also great - more of a rock band than I remember.
Toto was fantastic - loved their music since I heard them in the early 80s. They didn't disappoint. I saw Journey a couple of years ago at Usana Amphitheater and loved them then and wanted to see them again. So glad I got the opportunity this year - they were fantastic again. Hit after hit after hit - they sounded great and it was well worth the money.
Toto and Journey put on great shows. I would have liked them both to go longer.
Both Journey and Toto put on a great performance. The only bad thing was the crowd stood the entire Journey show. I am in my 60's with bad knees. I can't stand that long so the show felt more like a Genral Admission than seating.
Journey seems to be timeless. It was an incredible concert. They played all the songs I was hoping they would play. We will continue to go to their concerts for as they tour!!!
Took the wife & daughter to the Toto, Journey concert and had a great time. People need to realize this is a Live Concert and nothing is going to sound as good as a studio produced CD. Also they are ALOT Older then when in there prime. Both bands did a great job and the music was spot on. I wanted to here Mother - Father from Journey with Dean as Lead Vocals but for some reason it was taken off the playlist. All in all it was a good time.
This was a fabulous concert!!! The venue was not too big but still facilitated a good size crowd and I don’t think that there was a bad seat in the house. The only complaint I can think of is, because I have bad knees, I wish there were standing and sitting areas so that if you needed to sit more you would still be able to see.
Journey was 5 Stars. We could hear feedback through sound system. I give the sound system, one star.
Journey with Toto was a fantastic experience for me. Both bands were great, both appealed well to the crowd, and the staging/lighting were great. Toto was especially great. Great sound, great musicianship. Traffic and parking were a nightmare! Considering how long concerts have been being held at this venue, you'd think they'd have this better managed, but it was very difficult to get to the parking area at the arrival, and getting out has always been difficult.
Both Journey and Toto brought the house down. Phenomenal musicians and singers.
My seat was a random barstool chair setup with a sticky note taped to it with my number, nowhere was that indicated beforehand.
It was an amazing event from start with TOTO and finish with Journey. It was such a wonderful show. My grandson who is 9 said he loved it with big smile on his face. Love it, would attend again.
Seats are too close to the floor making it hard for some of us to see and be able to enjoy
There was to many lengthy guitar solos during and at the end of songs ! Vocals were wonky for keyboard player , As far as the rest , it was awesome to hear they still had it for the good ole tunes !
I thought it would be a bit slower since the band members were older however they were jumping around, extremely active, everything would defiantly go again if they toured again, worth every penny.
Toto was spectacular, and also Journey, but the big difference was the sound. Toto’s sound was clearly well balanced, instead Journey’s sound turned complicated to me to find out what the guitar was playing.
