Jason put together a great show filled with very talented musicians, warm home movies, from the heart brief descriptions of songs and times of his life with his Dad. For a Zeppelin fan, it's over the top great!! A great setlist, every song played extremely well...you will not be disappointed!!! Very worth seeing...!

  • Drumming must be in the genes

The love and respect Jason has for his father alone made the evening sweet and poignant. The musicians were all very good. Jason is a fabulous drummer and a joy to watch. Bergen Pac's sound is terrible. Boomy, thuddy, and muddy sound.

  • Jason Bonham was an experience!!!

by Fitzapbts on 11/5/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Went to see Jason Bonham at the orpheum theatre. My first time in this venue. We had great seats however the women in front of 2 out of 3 of were the only ones standing in our section making it virtually impossible to see. the staff there were great we moved back and over...irregardless it did not matter where we sat they rocked the house. My son 13 just discovered our love in Led Zeppelin and their music. Jason's tribute was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommended!!!

  • Jason Bonham = Great Experience !!!

A "must see" not for just Bonzo fans, but for every Zep fan. If you closed your eyes, you would have thought you were listening to the original 4. Jason Bonham did his father proud with his powerful style. The rest of the band made it obvious that they loved Led Zep growing up and performed like they did. The old home videos added a great touch and brought tears to everyone's eyes! Can't say enough, just go see it!!!

The show was amazing. It was like stepping back in time. Loved the old home movies, it was a nice personal touch.

  • Outstanding performance for a tribute band!!!

by Sebmass on 11/4/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Jason Bonham played up to his father's standard. He surrounded himself with outstanding musicians to recreate the Led Zeppelin sound as it was ment to be heard.

Great Show! The whole band was very tight! You close your eyes and you felt like you were back in the 70's listening to some live Zeppelin!

  • "Incredible Tribute to Bonzo"

by StoneWells on 11/4/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It's his life, his dad! He just saw it a different way than we did as kids. This band was beyond expectations. They were all incredible players. They're chemistry was great. Big kudos for each: Tony Guitar, clear tone, perfect song execution, this dude can do it all and then some. Bass player was great, smooth and perfect. The singer was flawless and he was perfect with these guys! Jason, what can you say? You rule! Keys\guitar cool! Thanks for the performance it was one of the best I've seen. Too many missed this gig! They must tour again!

  • Jason, Dad would be proud

If you're a Zeppelin fan, how could you not enjoy this show ? Jason and the band were awsome, the setlist covered so much and was well chosen as it obvoiusly represented John's work, but you can't have Led Zeppelin without Jimmy, Robert & John Paul, and Jason's band represented them all extremely well. It was an incredible night. It was like an air drummers convention, what a riot ! John was definitely smiling down on us with every beat Jason laid down. Go, enjoy, remember how much you loved this stuff !

  • Jason Bonhams' Zeppelin falls flat

by HUNGERoftheUNDEAD on 11/4/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

The musicians were absolutely phenomenal! They all sounded amazing, even the singer sounded alot like Robert Plant, and I was amazed how great and on top of Jimmy Page's leads that the guitarist was, however my major dissapointment was the setlist. I found it to be more of a casual classic rock radio station Zepelin fan's type setlist than a true diehard fan of the band. Aside from CELEBRATION DAY, THE OCEAN and a couple others, it was typical commercially popular tunes. The biggest letdown was that from Zeppelins monumental double LP "Physical Grafitti" we only got to hear one track - the overplayed KASHMIR. There was also a major lack of vintage clips of Zeppelin on the large screens behind the band. Jason was very gracious, but if I had bothered to see the setlist, I would have stayed home as it was severely lacking their best material.

  • Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

by lisjcas on 11/4/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

The first half of the show was really aweful. The sound quality was so bad that I considered leaving. There was so much distortion between the drums and the bass that I literally did not recognize their second song, Communication Breakdown. I asked my friend "what song was that?" I could not believe it, as that is one of my favorites. It really was horrible. After intermission, they must have fixed it, because it sounded much better. I wish that they could have realized how aweful it was the first half and taken care of it. I only got to enjoy 2nd half of the show. The seats in the Orpheum Theater were terrible. The were loose and dirty. Anyone taller than 5'9", does not fit. My knees were wedged into the seat in front of me. They should spend some money and put new seating in. I will think twice about going back there. I would recommend the show to a friend if it were at a different venue with more comfortable seating, better accoustics, and a better sound technician. (The present tech should be fired)

  • by Anonymous on 11/4/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

GREAT show to see! It left me wishing I had seen the real band 40 years ago. The musicians were amazing and made the music come alive.

  • by Anonymous on 11/4/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was truly amazing and probably the closest I will ever get to seeing the actual band. From the guitarist who was flawless and didn't miss a note in any of his solos, to the singer who sounded a lot like Robert Plant to, of course, Jason who absolutely ripped it up on the drums. That Moby Dick solo was probably the best solo I've seen live. I definitely look forward to them coming back. I must also say the setlist was awesome

  • Led Zeppelin Experience... of a LIFETIME!!

by PokeyKim on 11/4/10Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to the Fox Theater many times for different events, but NEVER have I heard the acoustics sound so good!! You felt the bass guitar in your chest and the lead singers' voice was almost an exact match with Robert Plant. The lead guitarist ranks close to Keith Richards, Eric Clapton & Carlos Santana's talent; and again the sound system and acoustics complimented everything he did! I feel sorry for those Zeppelin fans who didn't make it; but I also feel priviledged to have heard & witnessed this very intimate experience with Jason, about his dad and the music he performed. The film clips and Jason's personal comments really made the evening unforgettable!! VERY TASTEFULLY DONE!

Fantastic show, Jason did his father proud. Heck, my wife is NOT a Zeppelin fan, but she really enjoyed the show. Hope they do a DVD of it, every Zep fan should get one.
