  • Led Zeppelin - 4 US ONCE AGAIN!!! What a show!

by FANSOVER50 on 11/7/10Mid Hudson Civic Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 5 out of 5

It was a truly amazing experience. It brought back those early 70s years and I re-lived my youth with the music, the replication of the lights shows of the time.... The tribute band, thanks to John Bonham's son, was phenominal....Jason's drumming skills so resembled his Dad, also the guitar skills of the lead guitarist (the band in general) and also the main singer, his vocal skills so resembled Robert Plant....it was breathtaking! They had the entire audience standing and cheering...what an evening! We go to several concerts a year and this was one of the best. Small venue, top notch performance. An evening I will never forget. It surpassed my expectations and we read the rave reviews before we went. We can't stop talking about it and our son and friends will be venturing up to a mid week performance to catch the band before they leave the area...

  • Jason Bonham rocked some classic Zeppelin !

by airnanook on 11/7/10Mid Hudson Civic Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 4 out of 5

The Led Zeppelin Experience with Jason Bonham was an unforgettable, intimate encounter that provided the sound of the original band and pictures of the past with Jason's dad - John Bonham. The lead singer providing the vocals had the voice of Robert Plant, and the lead guitarist displayed the vigor of a Jimmy Page, while the keyboards and bass guitarist were more than adequate. Jason was a "chip off the old block" as he rolled the drums during a rendition of "Moby Dick" while he and his father were displayed side by side on the big screen behind the drums. It was an awesome experience which brought back memories for me of seeing Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden in 1975 and rocking to Moby Dick with John Bonham at the drums for a 20 minute solo act while the other guys in the band took a break.

  • If you closed your eyes, this was Led Zep

by DaveDebZep on 11/7/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

What a fantastic evening. Jason Bonham with some heartfelt stories and tributes to his late father. Unbelievable drum solo on Moby Dick. Great guitar playing by the Jimmy Page dude and the John Paul Jones dude. Great singing by the Robert Plant dude. Our only complaint is we wish they played longer.

  • Sounds just like Led Zeppelin!

by rockgodminion on 11/7/10Mid Hudson Civic Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 5 out of 5

Seriously, if you dropped the curtain in front of the band, I would have said Led Zeppelin was playing a reunion concert! Jason Bonham is an outstanding drummer, and the singer is able to belt out those screams just like Robert Plant. A true homage to the late John Bonham; very touching and well done.

  • Great Experience

As a long time Zeppelin fan and having seen Jason with Jimmy Page many years ago I was very exited for this opportunity. Jason did not disappoint and provided my with the best value for my money in a long time. Sharing his personal experiences and memories gave a special feel to the show. The band played well and his guitarist brought a new sound to classic riffs. Though his singer tried to sound like Plant (and strained at times) he added just the right balance to the music. Towards the end of the show (about 4 songs to go) the singer and guitarist started to connect with audience more. At that point, I had to move closer to the stage (which the band fed off of) and experience the remaining set. A great selection of songs that could have gone on for hours. Anyone that is remotely a fan of Zeppelin or Jason must see this show. Thank you Jason for a great evening with 3 hours of classics.

  • awesome show

by Letuna on 11/7/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

One of the BEST concerts Ive been too. If you close your eyes, you think you'll open them to a young, sexy Robert Plant... The music was dead on accurate. THe song choices were terrific. And the emotion from Jason was unmatched. GREAT GREAT SHOW and experience. Thanks!

  • close your eyes and feel it

I went to this show with high expectations and I was very impressed.. The Led Zeppelin Experience was a trip back through time to the days I remember as some of the best days of my life. The band members played "spot-on" and if I closed my eyes I could not tell the difference between what I was hearing and the studio tracks on my old LP records. The stage was backed by a giant digital screen that displayed real-time video streams of the live event as well as nostaalgic scenes of Bonham's father John with inserts of Jason growing up. This was clearly a wel produced event and it holds a special place int he hearts of the performers as well as those of us who were fortunate enough to attend the show.

  • I'm Going Again!

by TommyTtone on 11/7/10Mid Hudson Civic Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 5 out of 5

This show was incredible - I saw it at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie this past Friday. I was completely surprised at the intensity and quality. I was floored and can't wait to go again..I have tickets for a show tomorrow night in NYC at the Nokia theater in times square. Jason Bonham was incredible, the singer was intense, the guitar and stage show was outstanding. A great tribute to the Led Zep..couldn't have been better. It was a bit sad that the place was empty...it should have been full.

  • JBLZE was well Done and a experience to be had!!

As a life fan of the band Led Zeppelin this show was a must see.I had the chance to see Jason Bonham play a little club in Greenwood Lake NY. some 15 years ago and I could then feel a connection to the iconic drumming family .I left feeling very moved to have been in the same room as a Bonham!!!! Jason! thank you for sharing close personal times with all of us.

Jason has put together an amazing band. The added touch of personal home movies and other video clips and then Jason talking about his dad just made it an incredible experience. I would highly recommend this show!

This show was absolutley amazing! So much better than I had predicted. So tastefully done, with sentimental remembrances. Jason is an extremely talented person, and I hope to hear more from him in the future!

  • Thank You Jason

by BDLC on 11/7/10Bergen Performing Arts Center (Bergen PAC) - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

This is by far, the best event I have ever seen regarding the best rock & roll band ever, Led Zeppelin. Jason Bonham created a truly unique show by coming up front and center stage to talk to the audience about his dad, his family, and even his 89 year old grandmother who is still rockin' to music! The video screen behind the band had several photo's and video's of John Bonham being the father of Jason, at home. There were many family events on the video. Some of the video was of Jason as a young child playing the drums with his father. It was very emotional for Jason, and he was man enough to get choked up on stage! Brought a tear to my eyes as well! The group of musicians were fantastic and accurately reproduced the real Led Zeppelin sound. If you close your eyes and just listened, it sounded just about as good as the real thing. I was not disappointed at all, the sound was the best, I didn't use ear plugs that were being sold at the venue, and I was in row six, about twenty feet from the stage. Yes, my ears were ringing a bit for a couple of hours, but I didn't go deaf. The band was loud, but in a great way and not over done. I paid for great seats and received great seating, well worth the price for my lady & I. Jason frequently stopped to speak to us, he told some funny stories as well as sad one's too. I can't thank him enough for opening up to his audience, after all, it's called his Led Zeppelin Experience, what he lived through and how he feels. I'm glad I attended and I will never forget this performance. I'm 55 and have been a LedZep fan since they began in 1968, I still play their music very often and still love it as much as I have since the first time I heard them! THANK YOU JASON!

  • His Dad would be proud!!!

by ILoveYouJohnny on 11/6/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Jason has assembled a group of guys with exceptional talent that captures the energy and sound of Led Zeppelin.Jason is outstanding on drums. James Dylan on vocals, Tony Catania on lead guitar, Michael Devin (Whitesnake) on bass and Stephen LeBlanc on guitar, pedal steel guitar and keyboards are fabulous. The audience gave them a standing ovation and brought them back for an encore. This tour is a wonderful tribute to Jason's father.

  • Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience

by BronxJimmy on 11/6/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

This is one concert I will never forget. I guess it's the next best thing to seeing the mighty Zep. Jason and his mates were fantastic. The crowd was into it and the band was right on with the music of Led Zeppelin. Jason took time to humor us and also thank us. No Jason, we thank you!

  • Jason Bonham Great

by Bonzoman on 11/6/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Great Concert, not a phony tribute band, real musicians....close your eyes and it's as close as you'll get to seeing the real Led Zep....I should know, I saw them at the Filmore East in 1969, 3 more times that year and for all Led Zep's US tours. Jason you did a fantastic job, thanks for great show, terrific set list !

  • Incredible Tribute

by NJTRO on 11/6/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The sound was that of Led Zepelin. Jason Bonham was unbelievable on drums and James Dylan is an incredible singer. The other musicians were equally unforgettable, all together FANTASTIC. It was a step back in time to Madison Squarre Garden in 1977.

  • Jason Bonham

THE MAN CAN PLAY THEM DRUMS!!! The rest of the guys were excellent. It was an experience I soon won't forget. It was also just loud enough to appreciate but not deafening like going to your cousins wedding where you wanna tell the DJ to back it down to 10 from 14! I thought their musical choices were perfect and the band was spot on!!! They should be playing larger venues. Jason was most gracious and the film/video running behind him fit the performances perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend the show. My only complaint was the seats! I am 5'10" & about 220 and felt like a 3 yr old at that "special table" you have at Thanksgiving you sat at! Otherwise it was great!!!!

well if your even a one or two song zepplin fan this show will blow you away!!!!! jason does a heartfelt tribute to his dad during the entire show,so you dont forget what its all about and why we are all here.he taps into songs that other tribute bands do not do.which is so refreshing, and his back up band is spot on!!!!hats off to jason and the boys, its a shame that the other members of zep have let go of something that is so powerful to so many, hope jason keeps the train rolling
