  • Great Show

by Anonymous on 10/21/10State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

These guys did a great job recreating the songs of Zeppelin. Never having seen the orginal band, I was amazed by the quality and depth of the songs they played. Jason Bonham is an amazing drummer. I would suggest anyone that is a Zeppelin fan should see this show!

  • Zepplin for my time

by outofmytime on 10/21/10State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

I was born to late, missed the great music of the 60s and 70s and although the magic of digital media has allowed me to listen to that great music time and time again, I never got to see the music I loved live. This was probably the closest I was going to get to see Led Zepplin music played live and I wasn't going to miss it. It was good, better than I expected and I was really impressed with the song choices and that they pulled them off. It took a little while but they brought the crowd to the feet. It may not have been the real Zepplin and it may not have been 20K plus, but I left the show excited and impressed

  • sit down where do you think you are

i thought it was a rock show, but for a second or so wasn't sure. I have never seen someone told to sit down but , thankfully jason corrected this a few songs later! The sound music and vocals were very good, and the lead guitar player was super. The show was slightly less than polished which gave it much more of a 70's feel to it . The photos were a very nice touch and i would have liked to see more but availability may be an issue but thamk you to jason and his family for all they offered.

  • JBLZE - One Word - AWESOME

    by Howie42 on 10/20/10State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I must say I can remember where and what I was doing in 1980 when I heard about John's death. I along with many fans was looking forward to seeing Led Zeppelin in late 1980 or early 1981. This show, for me was 30 plus years in the waiting. I have seen the Page and Plant tours, I have attended over 200 concerts and this one will remain among the best. The venue was perfect as Jason rocked everyone in the building with a very personal touch to kick off his 1st US show and the fans let him know how appreciated we were for him launching this tour. The band was very solid and well rehearsed. I closed my eyes, sat back and just listened many times and let the music take me back. Jason was spectacular on percussion and although no one can touch Robert Plant when he signs, the lead singer came close a few times but just a bit lower in voice and range. Overall a great vocal sound to the show. All the band members had highlighted solos during the show. I would definitely recommend you get tickets and see this show while you have an opportunity.

  • Great energy and good vibes!

I was a little nervous about spending $50 for the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin experience since some tribute bands are musically solid but lack the energy of the original performers. After the first song, I knew that there would be no issues with good music and energy from this performance. Solid setlist of songs, and great musicians made this show something very special.Band started promptly at 730PM, there was no warm up band. Go see this band, you wont regret it.

  • Really great "experience"

    by Elroy66 on 10/20/10State Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Yeah, it wasn't Led Zeppelin, but who cares. The lead guitarist was fantastic. He played the notes and did it with style and grace. He even looked like a 28 year old Jimmy Page. The singer did a commendable job too. The songs were tight and well rehearsed. The sound system was excellent. But the best part was the way they integrated the mystique of John Bonham into the whole show. Memorable video clips, both poignant and humorous set off the stage performance in a mesmerizing culmination of past and present. I would highly recommend this show to anyone who loves the music of Led Zeppelin. Way to go Jason! I think your papa would be proud.

  • Jason 's Led Zepplin Experience

by guitarsardou on 10/19/10MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Wow. Jason and his lads were fanatical about reproducing the Zepplin sound whileat the same time throwing in some of their personalities into it. Only bummer was The big screen live video which had an annoying, to the point of distraction time lag. Checking out the crowd, which ranged from tweens to pensioners, everybody had a smile on his/her face knowing we were all there to celebrate the music. The mix was solid, the lighting was there to illuminate and nothing more. This was a meat and potatoes classic rock triple A cut meal.
