  • If I closed my eyes, I was at a Led Zep concert!!!

by StevenPR on 11/10/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

Astonishing performance by Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. For months, I was hoping that Plant and Page would play, but when the band started playing and singing, it was as if they were on the stage and not missed. Not only that, but the selection of songs they played are some of my favorites from the 1st Led Zep album. Your time is gonna come, Babe I gonna leave you, Good Times Bad Times and How many more times (including the hunter). This was an incredible concert with an amazing setlist. Thank you.

  • Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience-awesome

by drmv on 11/10/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the show was really awesome, the tribute was beautiful, the band was fantastice, they sounded just like Zeppelin. Every member of the band sounded great. Jason drums just like his dad did. I loved the whole show - very nice pictures and films were shown on the screens of young Jason and his family and also when John was young. All in all I just totally loved all of it.

I have seen many led zep tributes that are very good. The difference with this show is it was Jons off spring...and that made it more amazing. The slide show of Jon back in the day was excellent and could have shown more.

  • 95% off the real led zepplin band

saw a great show, i was lucky to have seen the band 5 times before bonzo death in the year 1980, even the 72 tour! the old family 8mm fims and other great photo's in the background was so cool, the un-know players in the band were very good! and it was smart to have bass, and a keyboard player ,

Great performance of the music of my favorite band. Thought it was really cool that Jason opened up to the audience the way he did about his feelings about his father!

  • Great show for Zeppelin fans

by jaczepfan on 11/10/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 4 out of 5

It was a real good show and tribute to Bonzo. Basically a three hour Zep concert with some nice home movie footage and loving comments by Jason who was very comfortable in the spotlight. The set list was solid in my opinion. Jason commented that there were some songs that they really wanted to play (my guess is a lot of bluesy ones like the Lemon Song - my personal favorite) and some songs they felt they had to play (obligatory "Stairway"). The band was great! The singer started off slowly and we were discouraged when the first song that should have gotten the crowd going immediately was sung a few octaves lower than Plant's. Show would have been a drag if he didn't go for any high notes. But as show got going, the singer was really, really good!! Doors opened at 7 but show didn't start til 8:30. Only downside was that we sat near the back of Nokia theater and it just wasn't loud enough back there! Also, the smell of pot smoke didn't make it all the way back to us! Also, the crowd wasn't as loud as I expected. I guess we're all a little too old!

Singer was weak, guitarist was sloppy, bassist and Bonham were great. I didn't leave obtaining any insight into John through Jason's eyes, which is what he announced at the beginning of the show. So I didn't like the music and I didn't gain any insight. Loser night. A sign of a bad show: everybody was sitting down, even in the front rows.

  • J. Bonham experience was tops

As close to Zep as you can get... Tony C. sound like J. Page. I highly recommend the show.

  • Amazing

by TommyD100 on 11/10/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

Definitely for the hardcore Zeppelin fans, Jason Bonham was amazing, he really has talent that is on par with his legendary father. The lead singer sounds just like Robert Plant (doesn't look at all like him though). Great venue, wasn't too big, so it felt more intimate.

  • Experience Jason's Led Zepplin

by Worship321 on 11/9/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show! Jason was very thankful to the audience and it showed. It was everything the reviews and interviews said and more. Jason really made it real and personal. The lead singer and rest of the band were great. It felt like I was at a true Zep show. The audience loved it. They played two sets with a thirty minute intermission. Well worth the money!

  • Not what I expected

    by campy217 on 11/9/10Best Buy Theatere - nyRating: 2 out of 5

I hate to be a stick in the mud but this show was horrible. The singer does a crappy job of trying to be Robert Plant, the guitarist cant hit the notes and chords that Jimmy Page can and the bassist/organist is not up to par with John Paul Jones. As for Jason Bonham I can say he is a mediorce drummer but not to the caliber I expected from John Bonhams son.The crowd seemed to go crazy over the show but maybe it was because they were drunk and stoned because as soon as the lights went down the joints lit up.I have seen Page/Plant many times and this does not compare. My suggestion is to go see a Zeppelin cover band instead of this show.I am a diehard Zeppelin fan so I am both hurt and disappointed that Jason Bonham did such a bad job of finding capable bandmates.

  • Jason does his father proud!

by uncleblackdog on 11/9/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Great setlist-many unexpected songs. Very talented musicians with an intimate atmosphere. Jason is a great story teller with many personal photos shared. If Jason were my son I would be proud of the tour he is performing. p.s.-jason that dance you did was Pat's delight. Thank you for including us in your family-fans for 30 years plus!!!!

This will probably be the closes i ever get to seeing Led Zeppelin live in my lifetime! Amazing set list....although they can't play everything from their catalog, they did all the faves! I would have loved to hear The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair or Living Loving Maid.

The band was amazing. They sounded like the real thing. The best parts were the narrations by Jason. They were moving, heartfelt and sincere and you really felt like you knew him and his dad.Very classy job. The venue was cozy and comfortable too.

Overall rating is 1 Billion times the 5 stars!!! This is the best concert I ever saw - period. I never saw Led Zeppelin in concert until Nov. 4, 2010. Jason is the most amazing person! He interacts with the audience all night. His amazing talent is equal to his dad's. He was spot on!!! The whole bad was spot on!!! Every member of the bad is fantastic. I would swear I was at a Led Zeppelin concert. Thanks for taking me back to my childhood and making my dream come true. I am still floating! Also the home movies footage was amazing! It was incredible to see John Bonham and Jason - split screen - drum side by side.
