This is as close as we will ever get to hearing Led Zeppelin live. Jason's videos and stories were remarkable. The band was amazing.

  • Unbelievable!

    by pj4900 on 11/15/10Florida Theatre Jacksonville - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Opening with Rcok and roll and ending with whole lotta love, Close your eyes and you were at madison square garden in 1977. What a band! The lead guitarist has Jimmy's licks down cold, the bass player looks like Robert but played like JPJ. They had a keyboardist to handle all the keyboard and backup guitar. The lead singer had the chops to match Robert during his heyday.. Jason was fabulous. Played just like dad and in fact played along with him on video on Moby Dick. Catch this show if it is around you. You will not be disappointed. It's the closest you will get to see zep (damn you Robert Plant) :) 2 and 1/2 hrs of bliss.

  • Not '77, but sure sounds like it!

by MistyMountain on 11/15/10Orpheum Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was pretty unforgettable. I closed my eyes and thought the original Led Zeppelin was in front of me. It was a night full of emotion, with Jason talking about his father and his experience with Zeppelin growing up. The band was on point with all of the songs and both sets were just incredible. The atmosphere was full of excitement nostalgia. I highly recommend this to anyone and will see them again- even if I have to travel far and wide for the same experience.

  • Bonham was Bonham

Jason clearly loved his father and his father's music and honored both Saturday night with a concert full of emotion and passion.

  • Good Time At Zep Experience

by Xharpbob on 11/14/10Mid Hudson Civic Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 4 out of 5

3 hours of Zeppelin catalog. All the songs we grew up with done just like Zep played them. Friendly dialog by Jason Bonham with anecdotes & memories of his life with his father. Great video clips fit well with the songs. Worth the $.

  • Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience - Amazing!!

by Mogulkillr on 11/11/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

I still remember the place I was standing 3 decades ago when I heard on the radio the sad news of John Bonham's death, and I thought my dream to see my favorite and greatest rock band of all time "Led Zeppelin" had also died. 30 years later my dream was as close to being realized as possible. What I saw on Monday was the closest anyone could ever imagine to hearing the original Led Zeppelin...as I closed my eyes occasionally through the show, it was almost surreal. Each of the musicians on stage was absolutely incredible, and brought more to the performance than I thought would be humanly possible. If you have a chance to see this show, even if it requires you driving or flying a long distance, I would strongly recommend it. It was one of the most moving musical performances I have ever seen.

  • Bonham Honors His Legacy

by JPBFan on 11/11/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 4 out of 5

Jason Bonham honors his dad's legacy with a highly credible recreation of Zeppelin's music. His musicians, and singer, are hand-picked for their musical excellence and ability to replicate Zeppelin's sound. Sound was a bit quiet for the first 3 songs, but then the sound-guy cranked it up to a more satisfactory level. The emphasis in the set is on early Zeppelin, but the addition of I'm Gonna Crawl was a nice addition. I missed some of my fave songs (Song Remains The Same; Achilles last Stand) but hey, two sets of music is nothing to sneeze at.

campy217 must have been to close to the joints because I don't know what show he was watching. I think he is dazed & confused.

  • Jason and his Band were Great!

by ZepFanatic on 11/11/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

The musicians were amazing! The fact is they managed to pull out a great show even though the Best Buy Theater sound system had some technical difficulties. The crowd was on its feet and Jason's home movies, photos and talking about his Dad made it very personal. I am a ZepFanatic and have found this group of musicians ability to convey the feel of Zep far and above that of any other band. They are in a class all their own. I plan to go to the next show .

  • Excellent

by Tinkerfell on 11/10/10Mid Hudson Civic Center - PoughkeepsieRating: 5 out of 5

This show was so incredible, Jason and his crew did a phenominal job honoring his father and the whole Led Zeppelin band....what an incredible opportunity to "see" Zep live. Unfortunately we will never have the honor to see the original 4 but this was a truly fantastic substitute. The music was dead on, the crowd was completely enthralled and it was easy to see how emotionally attached Jason was....I'd go again in a heartbeat...JASON, COME BACK!!!!!

  • Great show

by BirchBoy on 11/10/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

Band was very good, singer did an exceptionable job, and Jason rivals his father in skill. Light show was also a great add-on, and they played for three hours! Highlights were "Moby Dick", "Dazed And Confused", and "The Ocean".

by LouieBird on 11/10/10Best Buy Theater - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

Jason Bohnam & his band put on great show monday night from start to finish. It was a wonderful tribute to his dad & Led Zeppelin. His band mates were right on with guitarist Tony Catania nailing the Page like riffs & vocalist James Dylan's fantastic voice it was just like seeing Zeppelin all over again. Can't go without giving praise to bassist Michael Devin and keyboardist/pedal-steel guitarist Stephen LeBlanc who were great also. May not ever get to see Zeppelin play together again but Jason's & band mates show did bring back memories of the old days that I will never forget. Thanks Jason,Tony, James, Michael & Stephen for a memorable evening.
