Jason Bonham did a wonderful job sharing his childhood experiences with his father John 'Bonzo' Paul Jones. Home videos, personal stories, etc really brought the audience in touch with what it was like growing up with one of rock's all time best drummers! Their rendition of Kashmir was quite good and a standing ovation for Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You.

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience
by rfoz on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5This show was awesome! If you have the opportunity to see one of these shows don't miss out. Jason gave a very heartfelt tribute to Zep and his Father. If you are a fan you gotta see this performance. Complete with Bonham family home movies, and and many of my favorite LZ songs. Every member of the band nailed it! Jason found a vocalist that probably sounds more like 70's Robert Plant than Plant himself sounds today.
if you are a fan, you won't be disappointed
by twf100 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5I went with my brother who is a super fan of Jason Bonham. And my brother said the concert was "awesome," even after going to 2 other Jason concerts. Since I'm not a Zeppelin follower, I think my brother's comment speaks more to the quality of the concert. The attendees to Bonham's concerts are devotees -- very loyal. If you are a Zeppelin lover, then this will be a not-to-miss concert for you.
Jason delivers
by tsbergman on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5Great delivery of a Zeppelin concert. True to the song as you know and love them. The guitar work was great and the singer pulls off the Robert Plant sound. The guitarist pulls out a bow for that legendary sound and includes the theremin in "Whole lotta love." Jason treats us with home videos. The band was tight. the music was great. I am glad I took the opportunity to go see this and if they come around again with another set of songs I'm going.
Second best show I ever saw!
by Philip47 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5This was one of those shows that you remember the rest of your life. It was second only to seeing The Who in the early 80's. What a night. The music, the venue and the crowd were unreal. It was truely a concert that will always be remembered.
An Excellent "Experience"
by Itsbob826 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5You can't see Led Zeppelin live anymore, but this is as close as you can get. A great musical tribute a cut (two cuts?) above typical "tribute" shows. Because of the personal link, it's surprisingly touching. And also amazingly long (2 1/2 hours plus 15-minute intermission). Cool multi-generational crowd -- I was there with two of my 20something kids. Sat near a woman who much have been 80!
More Zeppelin Music!!

Boham follows in Dads footstep!
by waboritamike on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5what an experience....For 2 hours I felt like it was 1977
Jason did his father proud
by Thrillseeker2 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5Jason played the drums with a vengeance. The other musicians played very well...and if you closed your eyes you could almost imagine being at a Led Zeppelin concert. I saw Zep at the LA Forum in 1977 and Jason's show was close to that experience. At Jason's show, the rear projection screen graphics were very well done and his drum solo duet with the video of his father playing on the screen was very emotional. Kashmir and When The Levee Breaks were stand-out performances.
Transported to 70s by the Ultimate Zeppelin Fans
by ohblahdah on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5Jason Bonham brought the love and home movies to add to the ultimate tribute to his dad-- the Led Zeppelin Experience. He told us that everyone in the band was a true fan just like all of us in the audience. The uber cool L.A. crowd at the Pantages were glued to their seats in more ways than one. I wanted to dance to every song, but only one or two brave ladies got up to dance until finally Jason commanded us to get up. We were blown away by the talent of the musicians. There were no goofy costumes or impersonations, just pure unadulterated Zeppelin music to transport us way back to the joy of the 70s. I didn't want it to end. We were all up and dancing by the end to Kashmir, Stairway, and Whole Lotta Love. This was so good for my soul.
Led Zep reborn
by appleA on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5absolutely great, flawless & heart felt. Jason Bonham does his father & the Zep legacy proud. at almost 3 hours, the concert was too short. wish he'd play another hour. hope he keeps this tour ongoing. i'd see it again.

led zepplin out of the mist
by rule62 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5having never gotten the pleasure of seeing "led zepplin" i was thrilled for the chance to view this concert. bohnams hard hitting drum style would make any father proud and i think John would be. the family montage of photos and film allowed us to enter there private world all while being entertained by music that in my opinion was the most influential to all that heard it, there never has or will be a rock band like Led Zepplin again. back to the show, the stage set up was reminesant of days gone by, simple not over exaggerated leaving me to focus on the musicans. The lead singer James Dylan looks were not plantish at all (this is a tribute band by led zepplin fans, not a try to be led zepplin band). his vocals at times where spot on strong and full of all the range robert gave us . Tony Catania's guitar playing would make jimmy proud, strong fast riffs, messmerizing slow melodic runs and than came the "bow" . michael devins heavy bass runs kept it all together, Stephan Leblanc's keyboard and rhythm guitar mixed with a steel lap guitar added the perfect accompaniment to the show. the special guest jasons sister came out an played a masterfull harp for "when the levee breaks " You know you are seeing (hearing) something special when the audience age spans decades and all are on there feet dancing and singing. Jason bohnam's charity goes further than just playing for us he is selling a laminate with part of the procedes going to the "Shriners" ( who Provide free orthopedic and burn care to children under 18 in north america) along with th laminate you recieve a raffle ticket with a chance to meet the band back stage. thank you jason for allowing me to participate in your experiance
OMG! Don't miss it!
by Vicki5437 on 11/24/10Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5I was so impressed with Jason and the band. I've seen Jason with Foreigner and he was fantastic then but this was so special with the background of his past and his Dad. The whole band just rocked the place. And what a place to see a concert. I recommend Fox Performing Arts Center for any event and don't miss Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience if you can help it. I'm so happy that I went.
Jason Bonham's show was a must see.

Led Zeppelin Experience was amazing!
by TreeTrunks on 11/24/10Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5I never had the privilege of seeing Led Zeppeling live. John Bonham died just as they were rumored to be planning a US tour that I was most definitely planning on catching. After this show by his son and band, I feel like I got to experience the next best thing. The band was superb. Their musicianship was evident. It was on par with the original band. James Dylan did a better job on the vocals than Robert Plant himself has had the ability to do in 20 or so years. The video background really enhanced the experience without taking over the show. I will go see them again next time it comes around. My 22 year old son is a second generation Zep Head. He thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Best drumming I've ever seen.
by MrNorjam on 11/23/10Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5The whole band was very good, and played Led Zeppelin's songs to perfection. Jason is the most amazing drummer I've ever seen. He's a rhythm machine with incredible power. When he hits the drums, you don't just hear it, you feel it. This is a show I would go see again and again if possible. I hope they're recording these shows because I will not hesitate to buy the CD or DVD. The venue is an intimate and historic theater in downtown Riverside. I loved it and hope to attend more shows there.
Jason Bonham's tribute
by MandyMae on 11/23/10Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5I went to the show 2 days ago and I am still moved. I was able to meet Jason as he was autographing drum heads in a pre-show VIP meet and greet. He was one of the warmest people I've ever met. He had a show to do and I can certainly understand how tedious it can get autographing and posing for photos etc., but he treated everyone with the same grace and kindness that made (at least myself) feel like we were friends. And now for the show. I read after the show that he has taken so much time to make things perfect and it shows! The images on the screen were moving when it was supposed to be and visual stunning when that was what was needed. The musicians were very talented, especially Tony Catania (lead guitarist). What was also fun to see was the keyboard/2nd guitarist Stephen LeBlanc seem to enjoy himself as if this were his first 'big show'. He was genuinely just love'n the whole experience. The singer, who played guitar a little, James Dylan was as close to sounding like a young Robert Plant as you could get, and the Bass player, Michael Devin, what cutie. And a special treat was that his Jason’s sister-Zoe Bonham- was there to play the blues harp for 'When the levee breaks'. Very cool surprise. And Jason himself was, to me, playing as if it would have brought his dad back onto that very stage. He spoke like we were sitting one on one with him. He played as if he had something to prove, and I was moved to tears at least 6 or 7 times. Maybe I'm just getting old and emotional, or maybe Led Zeppelin meant more to me than I realized but I will never forget the evening. And I have to say that he chose the perfect title for this, because it was not a concert or a show or a gig. It was truly an 'Experience'. To quote my all time favorite song (which they DID play) 'Thank You!'
Don't miss it!!!
by Jengal19 on 11/23/10Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 4 out of 5Awsome show at great quaint venue... Jason put on such a hearfelt wonderful show, with insight to the band and his dad the great John Bonham, that you felt like you knew them. Very glad i suffered through Monday at work a little tired because it was well worth it. A must see for this legendary music.
Jason Bonham
by 2caribou on 11/23/10Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5Thank you Jason for performing at the Fox in Riverside. Small venue for a huge sound, it was really amazing, I would attend again, and again.
