  • What a Band!

by chergirl on 11/26/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I was blow away! Thank you Jason for sharing all the photo's and stories about growing up with a rock star dad. I was never lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin in concert. I feel like I've seen them now. The band was tight. The singer was amazing. If you closed your eyes you'd think it was Robert Plant singing. The rest of the band was VERY GOOD. Watch out Jimmy Page! I saw them in Hollywood Ca. @ The Pantages the sound was great.. Come back Jason, I'll bring some friends with me.

  • Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience was awesome

by LedZepplinRox on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Jason Bonham ROCKS, Tony Catania ROCKS, James Dylan ROCKS, Michael Devin ROCKS, and Stephen Leblanc ROCKS. That was some amazing stuff that I saw. Everybody was able to do those complex guitar parts or tough bass lines really accurately and the singer could hit all those high notes really well. And of course Jason is spot-on with his drum parts.

  • Jason Bonham'sLed Zeppelin Experience Spectacular!

by Carobnty on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was amazing. Jason made it really personable. He spoke of his father and family. Showed family photos on the screen. He told stories and shared memories. The music was fantastic. Wished they would have played Going To California. I'm Gonna Crawl was great, but I thought that was an unusual song to play. If I could afford it, I would be on my way to Vancouver! I hope I win the drum set.

Best live zep set I've experienced. Didn't play heartbreaker. Opened with rock n and into celebratio day/ friends closed with Kashmir and whole lotta love dazed and confused and how many more times were entertaining with less jam.

  • Not Led Zeppelin, But Pretty Darn Close

    by jross1988 on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience was incredible. It's probably as close as you can get to seeing Led Zeppelin nowadays. The band was tight and they rocked through a blazing set of classic Zeppelin tunes.

  • Awesome tribute - great musicians... JBLZE

by Stubrew on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

We had 5th row seats which certainly contributed to the experience. The music was fabulous, the musicians did a great job recreating the Zeppelin Experience. Jason was honest and up front about his motives in his address to the crowd. I took my 15 year old daughter and there were many other multi-generational fans at the show. If you have a chance this is a must see for Zep fans.

  • seemed to perfect

by spazolla on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

Nobody missed a note and every song started and ended to perfect. I did not hear them tuning their guitars before songs. I was wondering the whole time if they were really playing or if it was taped. But we had a lot of fun

  • Deep set-list shows the genius of Zeppelin

by ticketmandan on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The Experience was a trip down memory lane. The band led by Jason Bonham ripped the the catalog of the first five Zeppelin albums with a precision that has not been hear before. I have seen the "real" band before and never heard these songs so perfect! I wished for more from the later albums. Presence, Physical Graffiti and In Through the Outdoor needed more attention. The band itself was great. James Dylan from Virtual Zeppelin was the vocalist and is perfect in channeling Plant's vocals, Tony Catania, the guitarist played Page to perfection and the bass and keyboards were also excellent. If you are Led fan , this is a must see! Many younger fans were also in the crowd. This music ages well!

  • Led Zep Exp.

by sticksboy on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

As a true Led Zeppelin fan , i was a little sceptical watching other musicians playing what I consider to be the greatest music ever composed. But , being Jason is blood to Bonzo, I figured it may be the next best thing.......I was correct. The sound was amazing and the band was very comprable!I would hightly reccommend this show to all Zep fans! Mp~

  • Multiple Zepgasms!

    by Cree808 on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Such an honor to hear Bonzos son pay tribute to his father in honor of the 30th anniversary of his death. Led Zeppelin is hands down the best bad ever and having Bonzos son pay tribute was an honor I would never miss for anything.

    by 1olskoolrokka on 11/26/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

ZEP-ABULOUS!! Usually Im highly critical of most bands especially LIVE! Being a drummer for many manny yrz! Im the owner of Starcraftdrumz & Being in the Industry I find it hard to listen to band that quite frankly is not up to snuff! Im highly critical of DRUMMERZ!! I was blown away CLOSE as you will ever get to seeing Zeppelin again. Talented band mates well produced & thought of PERFORMANCE...Jason Bonham came off w/ a solid performance and you got the real feeling of HIS sincerity/INTEGRITY about the show. At 54 and my wild daze behind me I was able to appreciate these type moments in my life!! MY HIGHEST recommendation to see this show at smaller venue!! Pardon my terminology a stroke of genius from a ol skool rokka . I would pay again NO problem

  • Very awesome concert!!

by Lagunatch on 11/26/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was an outstanding concert- the Pantages is a BEAUTIFUL venue- and it was very cool to have a rock concert there- and as it should have been- it was very loud- and I LOVED IT!! I took my husband as an early Christmas present- and I was so glad I bought the tickets, even though having it on a Tuesday night was a bummer. We both loved everything about it- Jason Bonham was great at telling his story, and it was obvious that he put his whole heart and soul into making this "Led Zepplin" experience as a tribute to his father. The whole band for each and every song sounded EXACTLY like my fond memories of them in the 70's. Plus, the graphics and home movies playing up on large screen were very awesome- and gave you that "feel" of that psycho era when Led Zepplin was at its peak. I only wish it was playing more frequently, or would play again soon- I've told all my friends about it, and they want to go!!! Please add more dates to venues close to L.A. or Orange County- it needs to be seen more than once!!! HIGH RECOMMENDATION to all Led Zep fans!!

  • Close your eyes and you would think it was 1979

by ekgal on 11/26/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Being a fairly mild rocker back in the 70's, I was a Zeppelin fan from the minute I heard Whole Lotta Love!!! Enjoyed all of their incredible music - - except one song that I will never be able to run from - Stairway to Heaven. Yes, I know it is one of their masterpieces and an incredible song - but I think that every high school from Maine to California voted to have Stairway to Heaven their favorite song! So imagine closing your eyes 30 years later and hearing the most amazing songs being replicated by an offspring?? Mind boggling - but what an amazing talent Jason Bonham has been but is just now getting a chance to celebrate what he really loves! The singer and guitar players were amazing and the audience was wishing they were back in 1979!!! Jason Bonham made his father proud and I enjoyed the second generation of Led Zeppelin - and it was pretty obvious everyone in the audience did too.

  • Best Experience Ever!

    by chaoss69 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I had been hoping for a Zeppelin Reunion with all the original members and Jason. After experiencing Jason's show, I don't feel like I missed out at all. The energy, the crowd..was amazing! Jason was personable and sweet. The band, you could see, shared the same love for the music as the crowd. It was a night I will never forget and would love to relive. Thank you!

  • EXCELLENT show

    by RAF2 on 11/25/10Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The place was packed. There were a couple empty seats, so I don't know if it sold out, but it must have been around 99% fulll. The audience LOVED it. Standing ovations started about 3 songs in and continued for the rest of the evening. This was one of the loudest shows I've been to in decades. The show was great. They might not be the best Zep cover band I've heard, but they certainly do it justice. The songs were shorter than Zep typcially plays (even than the album versions), and they left out some notes (especially in the first set) but they sounded REALLY good. One thing that struck me was the mixing-- it was great. Usually I feel that some part is too low, but the sound engineers on this tour did an outstanding job. As someone else mentioned, they put a lot of echo on Jason. Every song sounds like Levee Break's huge drum echo. Yes, it does distract a bit from Jason's technical artistry, but I think it sounded good and to me at least, it was a tribute to Bonzo's unmatchable, larger than life drum sound. Vocals were great, Catania on guitar was great (although I've heard better Page imitations). I was happy to hear Michael Devin and Stephen Le Blanc again (they were great in the Bonzo tribute show in September). Devin was amazing as usual, fingers flying, jumping and moving around stage, singing along on several tunes, you could tell he was having as much fun as anyone out in the audience. Jason's hands aren't quite what his Dad's were, but he sure as hell has inherited his Dad's bass drum foot. The many cameras on the players from different angles really added to the presentation of the show. I liked the video. Some parts reminded me of lava lamps, spirographs, and Asteroids, so it certainly brought me back to the 70s and 80s. They had a sportscar up there for some of the show, another tip of the hat to Bonzo. Speaking of which, Jason wore a black bowler that I though was a great tribute to his Dad. The home video and Jason's talking about his family was good, but somehow I expected more of it. I do understand it would be hard for him to rock out if he got choked up talking about his Dad, though. He did talk about his early life, and the O2 show, and there was great footage of him and Bonzo, but there wasn't the kind of emotional talk about losing his Dad that I was somehow expecting. The show was great, but for me the September tribute was a little more emotional. One of the highlights for me was Zoe Bonham coming out to play Harmonica on Levee Breaks. This was the one time the sound mix seemed off--the harmonica was a little low, but still it was a great performance. Throughout the evening there was a lot of audience participation. They really brought us into the music. Lots of fun! I recommend buying the laminate fundraiser for the raffles. They sell a limited amount, so the chance of winning a meeting with Jason is around 1 in 40. I didn't win, but I'm still dreaming about winning his drumset at the end of the tour!
