that by far was the best Ii have seen, his voice was as strong on the last song as on the first one.

This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure of attending this show….so good….the band seems to have so much fun on stage!

Gave the evening as an early Christmas gift to my friend…we laughed, cried (memories of my husband) and got chills. We both needed an evening of pure joy!

Great show, Great songs! Musicians were definitely pros; in fact, most of them are relatives of the late, Great Bobby Vee (2 sons, a grandson, and 2 nephews). Would gladly see it again (and may at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA next February).

The band and music were excellent! The stories about Neil Diamond and Bobby Vee were fantastic. I loved everything about the evening. If old knees and hips weren’t old, I think the house would have been on their feet all evening!

What a wonderful show. I have been to almost every Neil Diamond concert in the Twin Cities since 1980. During I am, He said I would close my eyes and feel I was at a concert. It was fun watching the women near the stage dance along.

Great tribute with stories & music. Not quite Neil Diamonds voice, but good inflection.

This group did a wonderful job interpreting the music of Neil Diamond. I would highly recommend this show and this venue to anyone!

The performance was outstanding and the audience participation was encouraged which created a a fun, interactive experience.

I have seen Neil Diamond many times going back to 1976, when I was fortunate enough to also shake his hand!. My expectations were low, as it is with all tribute bands, and I was happily surprised. The Vees did a great job covering many great hits and also did some wonderful trivia between songs. I would recommend this tribute band to any Diamond aficionado. There will never be another Neil and this is as close as you are going to get from now on!

The mobile tickets were made trickier then it should have been. Keep getting emails to transfer to the Apple Wallet which I did not understand and did not do. Seemed risky and wound up to be unnecessary since the Ticketmaster app worked fine

I loved it! He gave us a little history of Neil Diamond and did a wonderful tribute. I couldn’t stop smiling and singing!

Love Neil Diamond’s music and the I am I Said concert with Matt Vee is awesome.

Awesome show with great energy and a great venue would defiantly go see them again!

Saw it in Des Moines and loved it so much I went to it again in Ottumwa!

Wow! Matt certainly sounds like Neil Diamond and does an excellent job on all the songs. The band included every instrument needed to provide a perfect background to all the songs. And then, the show lasted more than 2 hours, so you really got your money's worth. Standing ovation at the end! Will be going to Matt's concert in St. Joseph on September 12th, 2020.

I took my dad as a Father’s Day gift. We both had an amazing time. Great band and a great voice!! Will definitely go to see him when he’s in town again!

If there’s a better local venue to see a musical performance than the Ames Center, I’ll be surprised. Matt Vee and the band are all very talented musicians. Matt doesn’t look like Neil Diamond, but if you close your eyes and listen...he sounds just like him. My wife was reluctant and almost didn’t go. She had never heard of Matt Vee or of the Ames Center. After an evening of hearing great music, door tapping, arm waving and all-aut cheering, she thanked me at least three times for taking her and persuading her to go. It really was THAT good. MaryJane Allman filled in for a vocal accompanist who was sick. They did “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” as a duet and it was awesome!

Pulling off Neil Diamond, his sound, his band, the voice, not an easy task. This group does it with absolute precision and had the audience standing in the isles dancing and singing along. Absolutely incredible!

Attending a tribute band concert is often done with trepidation, fearing disappointment. Instead this group exceeded all expectations. As my guest saidi “ I have been to two Noel Diamond concerts. These guys are fantastic!” Yeah, He Said, I Heard.
