    Outstanding Show

by Larry on 10/15/19Ames Center - Burnsville

Wow! Matt certainly sounds like Neil Diamond and does an excellent job on all the songs. The band included every instrument needed to provide a perfect background to all the songs. And then, the show lasted more than 2 hours, so you really got your money's worth. Standing ovation at the end! Will be going to Matt's concert in St. Joseph on September 12th, 2020.

I took my dad as a Father’s Day gift. We both had an amazing time. Great band and a great voice!! Will definitely go to see him when he’s in town again!

    A great evening of entertainment!

by Mike on 10/15/19Ames Center - Burnsville

If there’s a better local venue to see a musical performance than the Ames Center, I’ll be surprised. Matt Vee and the band are all very talented musicians. Matt doesn’t look like Neil Diamond, but if you close your eyes and listen...he sounds just like him. My wife was reluctant and almost didn’t go. She had never heard of Matt Vee or of the Ames Center. After an evening of hearing great music, door tapping, arm waving and all-aut cheering, she thanked me at least three times for taking her and persuading her to go. It really was THAT good. MaryJane Allman filled in for a vocal accompanist who was sick. They did “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” as a duet and it was awesome!

    INCREDIBLE

    by N. C. on 10/15/19Ames Center - Burnsville

Pulling off Neil Diamond, his sound, his band, the voice, not an easy task. This group does it with absolute precision and had the audience standing in the isles dancing and singing along. Absolutely incredible!

    Over The Top

by Neil Diamond Fan on 10/15/19Ames Center - Burnsville

Attending a tribute band concert is often done with trepidation, fearing disappointment. Instead this group exceeded all expectations. As my guest saidi “ I have been to two Noel Diamond concerts. These guys are fantastic!” Yeah, He Said, I Heard.

Best concert I've seen in a loooooong time!

by veefan on 10/30/18Ames Center - Burnsville

I was so impressed with the concert and the venue. As I said to my husband, Matt sings Neil's songs as good as Neil does (I've seen Neil 5 times). The entire group was awesome. Really want to see them again.

    Celebrating Neil Diamond

by CynthiaD on 10/30/18Ames Center - Burnsville

This show was excellent. The venue was excellent: not too big, not too small & the seating was comfortable. The singers & musicians were excellent as well. The lead singer did not look like Neil Diamond but certainly sounded like him perhaps 20 years ago. If you closed your eyes, you could imagine Neil Diamond singing each song when he was at his peak singing voice. The lead singer got better and better as the concert went on. He sang many songs from Neil Diamond's early years & a few from The Jazz Singer. He ended with America. He had a 12 piece band backing him up & his wife, who had a very nice voice, sang Neil Diamond's duet with him: You Don't Bring Me Flowers. For the last couple of songs, including America, he had a local choir singing backup. He came out for one encore: Sweet Caroline. Considering the tickets were only $30, this concert was well worth the money.
