Hugh Jackman on Tour
If you thought Hugh Jackman the action hero was entertaining, wait till you meet Hugh Jackman the song-and-dance man. If the Australian performer is a man of few (mostly grumpy) words as Hollywood's Wolverine in the X-Men franchise, onstage he is sophisticated charm personified, as demonstrated in his latest solo showcase, Hugh Jackman: The Man. The Music. The Show.
Jackman has alternated between stage and screen his entire career. TV provided his first professional experience when Jackman was tapped for a role in the Australian series Correlli the very 1995 night he graduated from Sydney's Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. He first made his mark abroad in the leading role of Curly in the Royal National Theatre's celebrated production of Oklahoma! The West End production earned him an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
Jackman first put on his Wolverine talons in 2000 for Bryan Singer's X-Men. That led to subsequent appearances in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, among other sequels and prequels, ending with Logan in 2017. He also played lead roles in the romantic-comedy fantasy Kate & Leopold and magic-themed The Prestige. His performance as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables led to a 2012 Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.
Jackman's role as P.T. Barnum in 2017's The Greatest Showman provided the seed for his one-man extravaganza The Man. The Music. The Show. It features music from the record-breaking original motion picture soundtrack, performed by a live orchestra alongside talented dancers. It also includes audience favorites from Jackman's prior shows, Back on Broadway (2011) and Broadway to Oz (2015).
All of these career retrospectives provide slide-show and video glimpses into Jackman's family life, involve one-on-one audience interactions, and reprise his glittery Tony Award-winning musical-theater portrayal of flamboyant Australian entertainer Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz.
A philanthropist with a longtime interest in microcredit (the extension of very small loans to support entrepreneurship and alleviate poverty), Jackman also serves as an advisor to the Global Poverty Project, which imagines the end of poverty within a generation.
First time at arena, overwhelming. My friend & I are in our eighties, it was an experience. Your staff of ushers were very nice, very kind, & very helpful. We would prefer afternoon shows. We would love to see Celine Dion, & Michelle Obama. However, the evening performances are to late for us. I was wiped out most of the next day.
Hugh Jackman is the Greatest Showman!!! I loved this man before the concert and loved him even more after! He can dance, sing, play the piano and entertain all in one beautiful package. Wonderful presentation of his rise to stardom and including his wife of 23 years, who was in the audience was truly amazing. He let other artists shine on stage and thanked them as well as the entire audience!! He truly appreciated his audience being there and he knew what it cost them!! Would see him again in a heartbeat!!! What a guy!! The world is blessed to know him!! We need more people like him as role models in our society!
Hugh was amazing , he sings ,he dances,he's funny and he makes time for children in the crowd. I have been to a lot of shows and this was one of the top shows I've seen. Thank You Hugh for everything

Hugh Jackman is incredible! He showcased his wide range of talents, was really funny, got the audience involved, and so much more! You really feel like you get to know him, and even when he is just telling a story, it never gets boring. He performs many different numbers himself but also makes sure to highlight many of the talented people performing with him. He goes out of his way to make sure other people feel special, whether that be his wife and family his crew behind the scenes, children in the audience, or his co-performers. He's a class act who puts ok am incredible, one of a kind show! I can't recommend it enough for people of all ages!
Great excitement, great music, charismatic entertainer, and some special surprises. This show was on his birthday and there were some special moments. The surprise performance by Keala Settle (the bearded lady in Greatest Showman) was very good.
I was pleasantly surprised by the entire show!! From the first moment of the first song, it just kept getting better. I loved him in The Greatest Showman, and I realize now it’s because he IS The Greatest Showman!!!
Ticketmaster app is so easy and convenient to use. Hugh Jackman was absolutely amazing. Even better than anything I could have anticipated. Definitely would see him again! Bankers Life was not doing a great job getting people in to the show. There were hundreds of people still waiting to get through the doors when the show started. We literally ran to our seats and were lucky to only miss the very beginning of the first number.
We had an awesome time seeing Hugh Jackman. He is such a sweetheart and a true gentleman. Venue staff were exceptional!
Quite possibly one of the best concerts I have ever attended. My seat was in the balcony, which I didn't mind but I would've liked to have been a bit closer to the action. The tickets were a bit expensive but honestly, I didn't really mind too terribly much because the venue was absolutely magnificent. Hugh was terribly entertaining but I would've loved to have met the man himself. I think that would've been even more special, had time allowed for audience interaction with the celebrity. In spite of all of this, I would love to have Bankers Life Fieldhouse invite Mr. Jackman back with cheaper seats and more opportunities to be a bit closer to the stage.
This performance was amazing! Hugh is such a great talent, but also so warm and friendly to the audience. He acknowledged signs in the audience, several children who were dressed as a ringmaster, and others as well. It was so much better than having someone just stand on the stage and sing. The orchestra and dancers were excellent. I would recommend this show to people of all ages!
Surprised my wife with the tickets. Did not think I would enjoy concert. It was phenomenal. Hugh Jackman very personable thank the audience for hire in a baby sitter who does that
Hugh Jackman and team presented one of the all time best concert entertainment ever. Bankers Life fieldhouse should have gotten people in through security quicker or sent out notification that an hour would be required to enter to see the show start on time. The Fieldhouse was very disappointing.
Excellent in every way. Location, accommodations, cleanliness, helpful staff were all top notch. Seats were great with excellent view of the stage, screens, & performers. A once in a lifetime thrill to be able to see this performance. My only request is that this location is included in all Hugh Jackman tours. I would enjoy seeing him perform again and would happily purchase tickets to see him in this location as it is convenient to my home.
This Was Probably One Of My Favorite Concerts Of All Time .
The one disappointment was that they held people outside as the show was starting. Hugh was super punctual so we missed opening number. Bummer. Loved the set and videos. It was a jam packed concert and full of entertainment.
I loved how he interacted with the crowd. He was just delightful! I would definitely recommend seeing him and I will see him again!
Hugh Jackman was fantastic! He is an all around great performer from dancing to singing and connecting with the audience. This was an incredible show! I was surprised when Keala Settle came out and sung "This is Me" and "Harder" which was phenomenal. I highly recommend his show! I saw the show at the Schottenstein Center and was in section 105, Row Q and seats 1,2,3,4. We had a great view of the stage and was able to see everything from there.
This show was fantastic! I did not know what to expect from Mr Jackman, but he was just amazing. He is funny and relaxed on stage. Such an amazing showman. He is like a modern day Gene Kelly. He can sing, dance, act and entertain with the best of them. So happy I went!!!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this show! This was her 12th birthday present and Hugh delivered an amazing show! It was so much fun!
