Helmet was great! Sound guy should be fired!

by Allan on 5/13/24Music Farm - Charleston

Helmet, the band, AMAZING, they still have it! The music farms sound has always sucked but it was atrocious for Helmet. Why they refuse to hire a sound engineer to fix the acoustics is beyond me. The big issue was the human doing the sound. You could barely hear the PA or Lwad guitar. This band is rare in that the lead singer IS the lead guitarist. The sound was painfully, unnecessarily loud and you could hear vocals. Fire the sound guy!!

    Best show ever

by Ted on 10/21/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort Worth

This was my first time at a small venue, and i can 100% say i will go back. The venue was very nice and clean. Helmet put on a great show, and the experience was an all around good time. I was nervous because i needed to drive 2 hours to get there, but after my experience, i will do it again. I don't drink, and i did not eat at the venue, so i cant speak on the food or drinks. But everything else was perfect. The only bad thing i can kinda say is that finding parking for the venue and the entrance to the venue itself were not the easiest things to find. I do recommend showing up 30-45 minutes early to find parking, which will likely not be free, and to walk to the venue from where you parked. Outside of ticket prices, which were not expensive ($30), i spent $50 all night. And thats only because i bought a $30 T-shirt. You can get away with spending less than $20 and still have an amazing night out. If I haven’t said it enough, i had a great experience, and i will be back.

    sounded good

by Fruity Gooch on 10/18/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort Worth

The sound at most shows sucks. You can hear the kick drum and some kind of indiscriminate bass sludge. This show was the exception. It sounded great.

by Anthony on 10/17/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort Worth

Helmet is always good but this last show at Tannahill’s in Ft. Worth was the best, literally one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen!!! They killed it and the venue was perfect, rock on 🤘🏻

    Great venue, but...

by Jason S. on 10/17/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort Worth

Helmet sounded great as always. The venue was very nice. The restaurant area was clean and new. The concert area was very well designed, except for our seats. I had a table in the back of the mezzanine. My view was restricted due to a column in the line of sight. I couldn't see the left side of the stage. This should be mentioned when purchasing tickets. Other than the restricted view, the venue was top notch.
