    A wonderful night!

by YeyeCa27 on 5/23/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

The concert was amazing, great sound without any technical problem. The two bands were out of this world! I really had an amazing night there! I can’t wait to see them again!

    Best eve, period

by Esteban on 5/22/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Helloween are the masters of the power metal craft... guys that routinely play festivals and stadiums across Europe and Latin America. Luckily for us, they are not that big in the US but they are the kind of band that won't mind playing a 2000-capacity venue if their fans need them there. So for 80 bucks I got to stand 6 feet from them and see their full show (not a watered down version because this is a small theatre), complete with pumpkin drum riser, and the full lineup that covers all the eras and styles. Kiske and Deris are the type of vocalists you don't hear often, guys that can actually sing live the same things they sing on studio, and 3 guitars onstage allowed for full arrangements. This was just masterful. Hammerfall as openers are also a treat (these guys are headliner stuff), and played with more energy and passion than acts half their age. Spotless! Venue is great to have that intimate, 3-feet-from-your-heroes feeling, with good enough sound, and a quick, efficient entry. Stage also is big enough to fit the bands and associated trappings w/o feeling cramped. Only real downer: 17$ for a beer is stupid.

This show was so good. We were in the front row so it was an intimate experience. Great set list love the dual lead singers alternating songs. Great guitars and drums. Soooo good. Helloween rocks. Love them.

    Great Show at the Fillmore

by Travistein on 5/21/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Fantastic show with Hammerfall and Helloween! I've waited for years to see these two bands live and was psyched that they came to MD. Ticket prices were reasonable and I was able to get right up front. After the show, I was able to meet Frederik from Hammerfall and Weiki from Helloween out in the tour bus parking area. All around great night!!

    Team "Old Guy" ROCKs!!!

by M on 5/21/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

I truly enjoyed Hammerfall and Helloween at the Fillmore Silver Spring. I saw the show with my twenty-something daughter and usually when I see concerts with her, I'm the oldest guy in the place. Not so with this show. It was so refreshing to be among fans who were actually in my age bracket. Even more so edifying was that the folks performing on the stage were also in my age bracket. I was so elated that I wished I could stay there forever in a land where the grunge of the 90s never existed and hair metal was still a thing. It was almost a religious experience. The bands were awesome, the staging was awesome, the venue staff was awesome and the fans were pretty cool too. My only drawback was the minor unpleasantries of the ticketing and pricing. After all of my years of concert going, I still don't understand the structure of the service charge. Why can't they just build that into the price of the ticket? And I fully understand that people who work need to get paid. But I can't help wondering how much the CEOs and board members are making as opposed to the actual event staff. If it were possible to reduce the income of the top folks just a little, maybe the ticket pricing and service charges could come down a little for regular folks like us. Also the menu pricing and drink pricing at the Fillmore has gone up dramatically. Again, I get it. People need to work and people need to get paid. But I can't help but wonder how much of that is a gouge from the past few years of loss from the pandemic. Again, I still get it, but a lot of folks including the concert goers are still feeling the pinch from the pandemic as well. Circling back, I want to stress that I had an absolutely wonderful time at the concert and I do truly indeed enjoy seeing shows at the Fillmore in Silver spring.

    Best Time of my Life

by Jerry on 5/21/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Nothing and no one compares to Helloween live. From start to finish, the show was absolutely electric. Every member of the band was sensational, the crowd was full of energy, and the atmosphere was everything that live music should be. I had an even better time here than I did at last year’s Iron Maiden show, that’s how great it was!

    Best day ever

by Ka on 5/21/23The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

Helloween concert was the best ever!!!!!! I sat on the balcony and it was so nice, I was able to see the band up close and people there were nice. People at the bottom were jumping and pushing each other but the balcony was super chill. I would 10000% go back there if Helloween played again.

Helloween in NYC - My best concert ever

by RichCopper on 9/19/18Irving Plaza presented by Cricket Wireless - New York

Helloween was the first concert I’ve seen and that was Baltimore 1989 and at this moment it’s my lastest. Bands usually aren’t the same after so many years except Helloween. They are actually twice as good! They have more great songs to pick from and being in the USA, we get to see an arena band on a club stage!!!

The sound is not too loud, I would like a bit higher, but I understand the sound is adapted to the place and size of the venue

    Helloween never disappoints!

by Johnk6565 on 9/19/18Irving Plaza presented by Cricket Wireless - New York

Was great to see Helloween again, especially during the Pumpkins United tour with Michael and Kai. Wish they would have picked a bigger venue, too small for sold out crowd. Regardless awesome show as always!

    Helloween best ever!!

by cedro on 9/18/18House of Blues Las Vegas presented by Cricket Wireless - Las Vegas

Best concert ever. Three hours of non-stop music. The music was great, the song selection was great. It's a concert we will remember for ever. I wish there were more power metal groups that would come to Las Vegas. Thanks

Great show - I might make a few changes

by KinksRock on 9/18/18Irving Plaza presented by Cricket Wireless - New York

This was a great show, although it was extremely crowded. Who knew Helloween had so many fans in the U.S.? The show was (maybe) a once-in-a-lifetime event, with all three of the lead singers from the band's history in the band again. (It's not once-in-a-lifetime if this incarnation of the band continues and comes back.) The show was colorful and loud and fun. I might make a few changes to the setlist. I didn't think the best songs from "Master of the Rings" were performed, and I would have added more songs from "Time of the Oath". Between songs, the screen behind the drummer showed cartoons featuring pumpkin characters. I think the point was that they were putting different characteristics from band members into a cauldron. I found the cartoons more confusing than amusing and might have gotten rid of them.

Amazing night at not best venue choice

by Nehemoth on 9/18/18Irving Plaza presented by Cricket Wireless - New York

The concert was amazing, much much better than expected, Hellowen played a lot of classics and the vibe with the public was intense. Also was very emotive, at certain point their paused and began to shown an Ingo Schwichtenberg Drum's solo performance acompanied by their actual drummer. Just a magical night, sadly the venue looked small, the house was full packed, very difficult to move around and the accoustics of the place isn't any good, sometimes I couldn't here the lyrics. This venue should be use for smaller concerts.
