    Morbid Angel and CRYPTA

by Jon on 4/19/23Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Last Night's Morbid Angel show was pretty awesome.. .the pit was lively, and the crowd was nothing short but Crazy wild.. .not ta mention the amount of WOMEN that were in the pit as well, Love It. CRYPTA played their 30min set first, these Brazilian Queens are gonna do special things in Metal, even got to meet n greet them, who were very nice, and extremely genuinely gracious .. .but I refused to take a picture with them, but just shared my appreciation seeing them, and welcoming them to the States...I just refused to partake in the zoo-like tourist frenzied attitudes that some were exhibiting.. .Jeez People. VITRIOL & REVOCATION also played last night, both also brutally shook the pillars of the Baltimore Soundstage.. .however, while talking with the lead singer of Crypta (Fernanda Lira), her and I were both surprised with the choice of background music, followed by hysterical laughter, the song you may ask? .. Sussudio by Phil Collins .. smh .. those guys from REVOCATION love their Phil Collins LOL.. .and the crowd ate it up too which was cool AF. And last but not least, Morbid Angel.. .what's there more ta say, they triumphed, and their live sound was SO REFINED, and crystal clear. Their new material translated well, and the crowd was just as receptive. ..but then again, that 'Soundstage' sound system has, and is, the best sound ever. Again, all Bands sounded, and were, superior.

    Outstanding

by Nikki on 4/14/23Gramercy Theatre - New York

Crypta stole the show. Vitriol went hard. Revocation is amazing and big up to Dave for getting back in the swing of things a day after breaking his wrist. Morbid Angel’s drummer is inhumanly good

    It's alright

by UbdU on 4/14/23Gramercy Theatre - New York

Venue is clean, but small, and tough to get around in during sold out shows. Acoustics are average. Expensive drinks, of course, but seating was the main problem. Getting a seat is a free-for-all, and if you're a normal-sized adult man, you're going to be uncomfortable sitting in one.

    Crypta kicks ass

by TheKen on 3/29/23The Regent Theater - Los Angeles

I honestly just went for Crypta. I'm not much of a fan of the other bands on this tour. But Crypta kicked so much ass and really had the crowd into them. They should have had a longer set! This band deserves way more attention!

    I came for Watain...

by Greyton on 12/23/19The Underground - Charlotte

Watain was the middle band, sandwiched between opener Incantation and the closer/headliner, Morbid Angel. While the two other bands were good, in my opinion Watain owned the night: visually and musically. They put on quite a show and it was my second time seeing them in 2 years. I was surprised at the small turnout but then again the show was a week before Christmas. This was the second show I’ve seen at the Underground and I can’t wait to see more there. Unlike some other mid-size halls in the area the people at the UG know what they are doing, sound-wise and the room is a nice place to see a show.
