    Helloween

by AmazingBand on 9/17/18House of Blues Las Vegas presented by Cricket Wireless - Las Vegas

One of the best live shows I've ever had the pleasure to witness! Full 3 hour set with ALL the band. From start to finish was a heart-thumping, devil-horn waving fest! My ears have finally recovered from the show too LOL it was LOUD in there, but what else? If you ever get a chance to see Helloween live, do not miss it! Solid show and the venue, the House of Blues in Las Vegas, was perfect. Could see & hear performance from every angle in the house.

    HELLOWEEN - Pumpkins United | 1000% A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

by Gorgarrr on 9/15/18MTELUS - Montreal

Being a long-time fan from their early beginnings, until the end of the Kiske era, and having never seen them live, I just had to go see this reunion show, would have been a sin not to!! Man, this was such a great show, so many things were just absolutely perfect. I actually got chills and goosebumps many times during the songs, right from the start! There definitely was a special vibe. Michael Kiske's voice was in uncanny great shape, his singing all the classic songs was such a treat, never thought I'd get to experience that, with a great atmosphere that seemed to make everything even better. Also was impressed to see Kai Hansen, playing and singing the good old tracks like he says, that was also powerful, quite another treat!!! I got out of there, my heart was filled with elation. I hope they've recorded this show throughout the whole tour, and come up with a Live double-album with this setlist. I bet a lot of the tracks would be from the Montreal show, because as I said, really, everything was so perfect, it totally flowed in awesome melodic, powerful Helloween joyful greatness.

    Helloween Kicks Ass!!!

    by aarbear6 on 9/15/18Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Helloween is still delivering an amazing performance after all their years of being a band. And with the reintroduction of Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen they are better then ever. Helloween performed a solid set of almost 3 hours of their greatest hits. It was amazing. If you haven't seen Helloween live you need to!!!!!

    Epic Bucket List Concert

by FatesWarn on 9/13/18House of Blues Las Vegas presented by Cricket Wireless - Las Vegas

I had waited 30+ years to see this band live. They did not disappoint. While all older rockers lose a little bit of range, Kiske was still belting out some pretty high notes. They played all the classics from Keys 1&2 as well as Walls of Jericho and some newer tunes. HOB is a great venue; I reserved a VIP table - well worth the minimum spend.

    Helloween, the epic return!

by Spizzak on 9/11/18Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

When a band reforms with original members, but also keeps their current lineup, it would ring tough to pull off a show without lots of changeover. Not so in this case! Using all three guitarists and all three singers on a generous portion of the setlist really shows how well those people can gel in a live atmosphere. Splitting the vocals up in key songs and adding guitar parts to really emphasize their musical chops has gotta be hard. These guys did it, no problem! I wish there had been a show more local to me or even a second show added so i could see it all again! Will definitely buy the tour Blu-Ray when they release one so I can relive the magic once more!

    Withstanding the March of Time

    by Sachi1972 on 9/11/18Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Three days have passed and I am still in disbelief that what I witnessed at the Hollywood Palladium actually happened. Helloween - a group of Germans who are in their 50s - somehow managed to perform their material for nearly THREE hours straight. This is fast, difficult, vocally-demanding material that - from a musician's perspective - would daunt even the most seasoned road warriors out there. But these guys showed unrelenting energy from beginning to the very last notes of "I Want Out." I want to know where they've hidden their Fountain of Youth. I admit that I reside with the many fans who kind of lost interest after Michael Kiske left the building, but have grown to like Andi Deris' era over the years. I came fully expecting these two singers to take turns on stage - each doing their own material and walking off stage to hand over the torch. I expected to see a slight undercurrent of friendly rivalry. The twisted part of me kind of wanted to see what that would be like. I thought they'd probably do one duet toward the end of the show just to drive home the "united" theme they were promoting. I was DEAD wrong. Kiske and Deris sang together pretty much throughout their set, with a few rare exceptions. That was something that made the night truly special. Kai Hansen was my favorite vocalist of Helloween's three singers. Seeing his medley and overall presence on that stage was worth the $70-ish bucks I paid. I could have gone home after that point and been 100 percent happy. But I'm glad I stayed to the end. The setlist was comprehensive, hitting all of the stops you'd expect on the nostalgia train - "Future World," "Halloween," "I'm Alive," "Starlight," "Power" and more. The drum solo, coupled with the tribute to Ingo, was very classy. Helloween - please, PLEASE do the "Pumpkins United" album you've promised to record and bring this full lineup back to the states as soon as you can. The fans - new and old - are begging you!

Helloween -- Pumpkins United - Stronger Than Ever!

    by Wrathchild2 on 9/11/18Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

I have to admit I didn't know all that much about the mighty Helloween before the concert. I knew them as the "parent" of many bands (Gamma Ray and many more) but the show was spectacular. The video backdrop really added a lot to the show and was well integrated rather than a distraction at many shows. So much fun!

    Helloween Pumpkins United!

by AndreinVegas on 9/10/18House of Blues Las Vegas presented by Cricket Wireless - Las Vegas

This was one of the most enjoyable shows that I have ever seen; maybe the best! As a longtime fan of German Power Metal Band Helloween, I was happy to see founding member Kai Hanson and original lead vocalist Mikael Kiski join forces with the current lineup for a fantastic three hour live retrospective. I took my adult son with me who I’ve raised on Helloween’s music and he stated that it was the best concert that he’s attended and he’s a musician. Kiski and current vocalist Andi Deris appeared to be getting along famously and hearing both of their powerful voices harmonizing was wonderful. Original guitarist and vocalist Kai Hanson seemed to be having the time of his life and he and fellow original guitarist Michael Weikath and current guitarist Sasha Gerstner were fantastic together. The rhythm section of bassist and original member Markus Grosskopf and drummer Daniel Loble were as solid as a rock. Loble even had a drum-off with late drummer Ingo Schwichtenburg (via video) that was a highlight. Helloween rarely tour the states and I purchased my tickets a year ago so that I wouldn’t miss this highly anticipated show. Bravo gentlemen.
