Both bands were great! Hope to see them both soon again!!
First time at YouTube Theater, First time seeing both bands live. What an INCREDIBLE night of music and fun, both bands were AMAZING. the sound was awesome, the seats were comfy, the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend concerts at the venue. Helloween AND Hammerfall put on one hell of a show and i will most definitely look for both of them next time they are in town !
Helloween loves their fans to get all 3 original singers back together not only for a fantastic new album but to do an amazing tour as well. With Michael Kiske and Andi Deris switching off the lead vocal duties on some of those old classic songs, gave a whole new experience and dimension that was very special. And of course getting to see Kai Hansen do those songs from the 1st album just isn't the same with anybody else. I saw the Pumpkins Unite tour in 2018 at the Hollywood Palladium in 2018 but this show exceeded that one by a mile due to the state of the art acoustics provided by the You Tube Theater. That place is just a super venue and the sound was mixed perfectly! It was my first time there and I'd say it's the best place in LA to see a show. Parking was easy. Seats were comfortable and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
Excellent concert. Both bands kicked a**! The You Tube Theatre is an awesome venue. Sound is amazing.
Helloween definition did not disappoint. The satge set up was awesome and embracing the past with multiple singers.
Helloween were phenomenal live!!!! 35 years later these guys still put on a stellar show! They essentially did one of their amazing outdoor venue performances but pulled that off inside of an intimate club scene. Kudos! The vocals, musicianship, stage set up... all spectacular. The tightness and camaraderie were all evident and conveyed a great vibe. I highly recommend seeing them live. And HammerFall was an excellent opening act as well. Very, very excellent show!!
At last! After 30+ years I got to see Helloween. A great show! This band is very good, very polished, and very professional. They normally play large arenas or stadiums, and we got them at a theatre like The Fillmore. Wow. Everything was good, except the food. Very overpriced for the portion size. Get food outside if possible. But the show! So good. Took my 12 year-old daughter with me. Got balcony seats since it was her first show. She ran out of gas, so we left after the set was done. Hammerfall was very good too. Would like to see them again as well.
I've been going to tons of shows for the past 25 years, and this was the best one! I don't even have words to describe it. Helloween is my favorite band, but this surpassed my expectations. This show completely changed my life. I hope they'll be back because I need more! But whatever happens, I'm grateful for this experience. I'm a better person because of it.
I believe the current formation is bringing something very unique to Helloween, the dueling vocals, the three guitars, the fun and humor they have on stage. I believe that the fact the stage was so small in the Fillmore made the band a little disappointed, being used to large venues and stadiums. But, that brings an unique experience to their fans, to be so close to them and feel the Happy Happy Helloween from up that close. I brought my 6 year old kid, that begged me to bring him but underestimated how tired he would be past bedtime, but still cherishing every moment we remembered and the pictures and short videos we took standing in the first row. Thank you for coming here to bring that to your US fans. We loved every moment.
One of the greatest shows I've ever seen. People were literally crying from happiness at the end of Helloween's set. Can you believe Kiske can still sing like that? And Andi, what a great frontman. This show was a dream come true.
Best live band out there, start to finish. They play all their hits and no fillers. 2 and a half hours of complete awesomeness.
Arguably the best concert I've been to since before COVID. Helloween was amazing. With three signers and thee guitars, they had a giant sound. Very tight. Played lots of hits. Grat stage show and presence.
Amazing band put an awesome concert and the venue is really good
Show started at 8. HammerFall played for an hour. While the stage was a little small for HammerFall they put on quite a show. Helloween played for over two hours. Helloween played songs from all eras of the band, three people singing is quite a feat and it was depending on the song. Helloween pulled it off and sounded great.
The best show so far I have seen in History theatre. I love Helloween
Great club, great organization of the concert and amazing Helloweeeeeeeen band!
2nd Best Show of the year 2nd Best Show of the year 2nd Best Show of the year
Helloween were always on my radar, but honestly never grabbed my interest until their Pumpkins United tour. 3 kickass guitars! All 3 lead vocalists from their history setting ego aside to have a good time, and sharing the spotlight on each others songs. Dani is a beast on drums! They all can still bring it and sound amazing! Helloween is a masterclass to other vetran bands on how to put on a show and give the audience what it wants. Mad respect.
Helloween was amazing! Seven members and all brought their A game. The set list represented the entire catalog. Over two hours of power metal at its finest!! HammerFall opened the show with set of classics and new songs. They brought the Crowd to a chant on every song. They owned the stage for an hour. The venue was great! An amazing venue and experience! Highly recommend all to go there.
The entire evening was incredible. It was my first time at The Fillmore. It was a nice venue with a good caring staff. Hammerfall put on a great show getting the crowd ready for the mighty Helloween. The Helloween performance was magical. After listening to them since the late 80’s it was amazing to finally see them perform live. It was a concert that I won’t soon forget.
