This was absolutely an amazing experience! My kids loved it and was easy to get so engrossed in the movie and the perfection of the music that you forgot the symphony was even playing. I would highly recommend this for any Harry Potter fan.
The Harry Potter movies are awesome to start with, and the musical score is amazing because John Williams is amazing, but to get to experience an incredible movie with the awesome music live was truly a wonderful, wonderful thing to get to do! The crowd was pumped. The Charlotte symphony was absolutely wonderful. I kept having to remind myself that the music was LIVE and not taped in with the movie. They were perfect. A really awesome experience. I would love to see each and every one of the HP movies that way! Well, the ones that John Williams wrote for. ;)
The concert was phenomenal. The music matched up perfectly with the movie and was absolutely beautiful.
The music was beautiful and the whole experience was fun - it appealed to me and my mom as adults, and it seemed like the kids in the audience had a blast too.
This is the most amazing show ever!!!! Everyone needs to go!
You can’t go wrong with Harry Potter honestly, it honestly was an amazing experience. My mother who is not a fan in the slightest bit love it. She was cheering and laughing like it was her favorite movie. It’s crazy how well the music fit, can’t wait to see the next movies in the series!!
A very unique and entertaining way to enjoy both the storyline and the fantastic musical score! Highly recommended for Harry Potter fans of all ages!
Concert was amazing! Charlotte Symphony was outstanding! Ovens Auditorium just okay, venue needs to be updated.
My sister and I loved the Harry Potter movie preformed by the Charlotte Symphony. They were incredible! The sound in the room was also exceptional. I did think ticket prices were too high as this was a big splurge for us but I'm hoping it was because of how many people were involved. Thank you for a great night.
Truly loved hearing the music of Harry Potter played by the Charlotte Symphony. They did an amazing job! It's hard to explain how neat it was to see the different instruments creating the music you've heard all these years. We loved it!
The event started way too late for kids. The venue was awful, and not enough bathrooms for the crowd that it was hosting. The Charlotte Symphony was great, but overshadowed by the movie, in my opinion. Given the cost of the seats, we were expecting a better experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Harry Potter concert featuring the Charlotte Symphony. It gives you a different appreciation when you realize the amount of work that goes into creating musical scores for movies. I shared this experience with my daughter, a diehard Harry Potter fan, and it created another memorable event that we shared.as a family. Had a great time.
We had a great time watching and listening to the performance. The orchestra sounded like it was part of the movie. Very cool watching them play. The only down side was all the talking, yelling and cheering. You couldn't hear the movie a lot of the time but it was still a wonderful experience.
Watching the first Harry Potter with the CLT symphony brilliantly accompanying ..... one best experiences for our family ever!!!!!
I want to see the rest of the series performed in the same manner. The crowd was emotionally charged and the movie was awesome as always.

I held back a star for parking. It was an ordeal as there was a hockey game at Veterans Memorial Arena for the same night and time. We ended up parking in lot J, there were only two metal detection lanes open and with the massacre in Vegas having just happened, getting through those searches was even more stringent. Please, just leave your jumbo purses at home for events, Ladies! Once inside, event was great. I'd highly recommend attending any live Symphony Orchestra to ANY movie at least 1x in your life, flawless. We sat in the front, it was almost too close. Our chairs were high end portable folding chairs and rows were written on the concrete floor with chalk. I don't think the other sections were like this, we were just on the floor? The venue is new, so the chairs were new/comfortable, but I can see the ones we had easily getting worn and uncomfortable with repetitive use. That being said, I would still attend another event here, just not sit that close and I will only attend fall/spring events because it is an amphitheater and there are NO fans and this is FL. It rained the night of my event so we were blessed with a rare cool breeze.
Came into a darkened arena with the orchestra just starting up. Found our seats and settled in. The music is so enchanting and really adds to the movie. Soon we were just into the movie, almost forgetting the incredible orchestra and the wondrous magic of John Williams.
The Boise Philharmonic's performance was perfection. This performance equals the National Symphony Orchestra performance of Bugs Bunny On Broadway at Wolf Trap's Filene Center in Wolf Trap, Virginia. Everyone loved the Boise Philharmonic & Harry Potter!!
Coordination between the movie and the music outstanding. Philharmonic brought the movie back to life.
