The energy level in the show had me wanting to take a breath for the performers! Wow! The songs were strong and passionate throughout, and pulled me right into that era of our nation’s birth. The cast is amazing, and congratulations to all involved for a spectacular production! This is a show that lives up to all the hype!
Magical from beginning to end. Wish I had the opportunity to see it again while in Dallas. An unforgettable family experience for us!
We have been wanting to see Hamilton for years and listen to all the music from the soundtrack all the time. The musical was even better than what we were expecting! Loved the comedic aspects and the ending took our breath away.
I have listened to the soundtrack (on repeat) and read the biography and was very excited to see Hamilton. I traveled to Dallas (I live in Florida) to see it with my sister. The touring cast and production were phenomenal and lived up to the hype 100%! I definitely want to see it again.
I saw this a second time and it was better than first. So many things I missed on first time. Great story, great acting and great music.
Hamilton deserves all the accolades it has received. My grand daughter and I have already decided we must see it again! It was simply awesome!
I enjoyed the show but didn't think it lived up to the hype and the scramble for tickets. It was amazing that the actors could keep up all that dialog/rapping and it was well done but the story wasn't mesmerizing.
We were really excited to land tickets to this show. It did not disappoint. The mix of musical styles and the use of people of color to represent the founding fathers was very unexpected, though not at all unappreciated. Seemed that many in the opening night crowd were familiar with the show and its characters. They knew when to cheer and applaud when new characters entered. I'm not sure if that helped or hurt. We had a great time. The State Fair Music Hall may be showing it's age, but it is a great place to see live performances. This was our second visit (Love Never Dies was the first). Sound and sightlines were excellent. I have no complaints. We did not make use of any of the other services available at the venue, thought it seemed that the lines for merch and alcohol were pretty darned long. Maybe that's why we didn't make use of those services? All in all, though, a fantastic experience and one that we won't hesitate to enjoy in the future.
Greatness! Would see it again and again and again and again...
This show was so good. Truly educational, emotional, entertaining, ingenious, and more. Miranda is a creative genius along the lines of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
This was an amazing show that exceeded my expectations. I have been waiting to see this show for the last two years. It was well worth the wait. It reawakens your interest in American history and how many factions played a significant role in the forming of this country. I have a new appreciation for founding father Alexander Hamilton. Highly recommend.

Our seats were terrible and very overpriced. Then the people around us were very annoying. So overall only ok.
Loved everything about the show. We had listened to the recording ahead of time to be familiar and I think that helped but it was amazingly easy to follow and to understand the words. I did not expect that parts of the music were actually very beautiful and melodic and provided a nice counterpoint in a score that is predominantly rap . It was visually impressive and all of the performances were outstanding! Would highly recommend.
Hamilton was everything I’ve heard about! “Spectacular!” My daughter was living in NYC when she told us she saw a new show - not to Broadway yet. She said it was nothing like she had ever seen and we’d love it! As it made its way to the big white way, she saw it again and again. When we heard it would be coming to Detroit, we were sure to be there. And it was worth the wait! Bravo!
Entering the theater my expectations were high and I wasn't disappointed! The extremely talented cast gave the audience what they came for. Every performer did an amazing job!
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Very fortunate that I was able to pick up a little history along the way. Great date with my wife.
Everything was wonderful except sometimes it was difficult to decipher the conversation, not sure if it is the acoustic . We have been season ticket holders of the Fisher theater over 30 years..never had problem..other than that.. . .the show was fantastic. !! Very well done. Our seats were excellent. I fully recommend it. Enjoyable.
This show was quite good in telling the story with modren dance and song. The only aspect I feel Fair Park should look to update their seats in this theater.
A+ for choreography, music, performances, staging. Also for the Music Hall at Fair Park, an excellent venue. I want to go back.
