  • A fine evening.

by Marge on 5/20/24The Factory - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

This man may be the best guitarist in the USA at this time. Unfortunately I panicked and left after 3 songs. I didn’t stay long enough to get the whole concert but heard from guest at RR who had come here too. In amazement talking about he just jumped another level. He’s great. Good man too.

  • Venue Sound Too Loud

    by D-Rat108 on 5/20/24The Factory - St. LouisRating: 4 out of 5

GCJ and his band were very good and The Factory is well laid out, but the sound system was amped up way too high. Not everything sounds better turned up to 11.

  • Incredible performance and sound

by ksty on 5/19/24The Factory - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Clark Jr and his band sounded outstanding at this show and put on a great performance. I’ll always go see him when he comes through Saint Louis.

  • Awesome, excellent, thoroughly enjoyed!!!

by The Governor on 5/19/24The Factory - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best date nights I’ve had with my wife!!! I’ve been a fan for quite awhile and my wife saw Gary play on CBS. I was telling her how good he is but you never know. Now I can say we’re both big fans. On another note, Abraham Alexander is too good to have only played guitar 8 years!!! All I can say is WOW!!! The Factory is by far the best place I’ve ever seen a live music event - outside of Powell Hall that is…. But the set up and amenities were even better!!!

  • Best concert this year

by RickT on 5/19/24The Factory - St. LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Clark Jr is an awesome live performer! He brought the house up on to their feet over and over with his playing. That’s what happens when the songs you love are played not only flawlessly, but extended and enhanced live. He played every hit I hoped for and soon to be hits new music. I paid extra for the front row and you never regret great decisions. I will be there every time Gary Clark Jr. comes near me.

  • Simply Amazing

  • unexpected

i expected to see a blues rock show. instead i saw melow marvin gaye music. backup choir. i like marvin gaye and i like jr. just not together. my seats were great on 3rd level. music sounds great in there.

  • Sound Quality ??

by Blueshound on 5/15/24Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 4 out of 5

We purchased seats that were in the first couple rows at a premium however the sound quality for these seats was terrible as the venue did nothing to improver front of house sound. Basically we were drowned out by the instrument in front of us and inaudible vocals. This issue could have been easily resolved with the correct speaker setup helping to equal the price point paid for upfront seating.

  • Sound terrible in front rows

by dk on 5/14/24Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

Seats were 3rd row center. PA was behind us. Could hear little or no vocals. Instruments ok.

  • Phenomenal

by Pat on 5/14/24Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

St Paul and the Broken Bones were outstanding. The spirits of Prince, BB King and Jimi Hendrix live on with Gary Clark Jr in the world and that’s not to take away from his own individuality. Absolutely blew this Scots lass away. The Choctaw Grand Theatre deserves a special shout out. I’ve see many gigs with living in the Uk and believe me this venue tops every one I’ve been in. From the accomadating staff to the wonderful spaciousness and allowance to actually enjoy yourself was a joy! The venue is large but intimate. Comfortable seats, bars all around , toilets perfectly clean and replenished; this place looks like the customer was consulted on how it should be laid out! Fabulous and it wasn’t freezing cold in there either! The staff need commending for sure with their helpfulness, politeness and friendly attitude. It just added to the flow of the evening. Will be definitely recommending to friends.

  • Gary Clark Jr.

by Jhall on 5/14/24Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

Lots of instrumental music. But it was so good to the soul, you could really connect to it. Great time!

  • Amazing talent

Great show. Awesome guitar player with an amazing voice to go with it. Loved the old school feel with the 3 backup singers. The lightening was spot on !

Headliner sound terrible. Venue was awesome and seats were awesome.

  • Go see Gary Clark Jr!

by Renny on 5/13/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We had an amazing time with our adult children, they had never heard his music before. We were 3 rows back from the center stage. Woodinville winery is an awesome venue. I don’t go to that many concerts but I highly recommend Gary Clark Jr.

  • Absolutely phenomenal!

by Stu on 5/13/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Holy smokes! I’ve been wanting to see Gary Clark Jr. for a while now, and I finally got the chance. He was even better than I had imagined. His songwriting is superb, and allows for a good amount of improvisation in his solos. He played several tracks from the new JPEG RAW album - which were all fantastic. But the highlight for me was “The Healing”. His improvised solo was simply out of this world. His band is awesome, HE is awesome, and I’m looking forward to seeing him each and every time he comes to Dallas!

  • Gary Clark Jr experience

by JFA on 5/13/24Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Great music as expected - Crowd very enthusiastic and loud - Great venue, small enough to experience full music scope but still hold large crowd

  • Majestic Theater sound is terrible

by Kevin on 5/12/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 2 out of 5

I won’t see another show at the Majestic. The sound was terrible and you can’t understand what the musicians are saying from where I was seated at least. Set list wasn’t great compared to other Gary Clark Jr shows.
