by JeffyP on 8/21/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time at this venue, we loved it!!!! Gary was amazing live, overall great experience. I would highly recommend attending any event held here for sure!! We will be back!

  • Disappointed

by Earl on 8/21/24The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 1 out of 5

30 minute breaks between sets??? Terrible sound system. Seems to think he is extraordinary without producing a quality show. Left early.

  • GCJ @ Masonic SF

by JB on 8/20/24The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing Gary Clark Jr. live and their performance lived up to the hype. GCJ is one of the best guitarists of his generation. Played for 2.5 hours so you definitely get your money's worth. I can't wait to see them again!

  • Wow

What an amazing and talented musician! From beginning to end I think he’s the perfect combination of Hendrix and Prince!

  • Not what I had expected

by Molly on 8/20/24The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

Was looking forward to this with all the hype around this artist. Been a Rock fan since the 70's and I attend at least a dozen concerts a year. Concert was due to start at 8pm. It started around 9: 30. I found it to be extremely loud and I could not hear his voice or words due to the loud music. It just appeared as an extremely loud concert. The guitar riffs were so loudly elevated I could not appreciate anything this artist sang or played. Many amps, computers on stage. Band was quite large around 10 people in total, lots of equipment and computers. Not a solo act by any means. Volume up to maximum on this concert. Not what I expected. On the flip side the two-girl band that opened were quite original and sang beautifully.

  • Fantastic performance!

by Pop’s on 8/17/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

But it would be better if people actually spent more time “listening to the music and not TALKING through the songs”!! And perhaps set aside an area where they could dance instead of blocking the view of most of the other people trying to enjoy from their chairs!! Even asking them politely to move off to the side doesn’t work when they’re on their 4th, 5th, or more, bottles of wine!!

  • Gary Clark Jr

by J Brady on 8/17/24Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Gary gets better everytime he performs! A 5 minute guitar solo every song! It’s straight Spiritual! I highly recommend!!! Bring your kids! The Blues aren’t dead!!

  • Gary Clark Jr was amazing!

Seeing Gary Clark Jr at the Ste Michelle Winery in Woodinville was awesome. He gave such a great concert, and the sound was amazing. I never get tired of seeing him perform. I hope he comes back next year!

He comes on by introducing himself then says "For those of you who don't know what's going on. I'm Gary Clark Jr."! So, immediately, he ridicules his audience. His performance and the entire energy of the concert was just meh!

  • A hot show on a hot night

by Mary from Cary on 6/19/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

Gary Clark Jr lived up to his reputation last Thursday night at Red Hat Amphitheater. Although I was expecting more of a blues show, the songs were well crafted and the light show meshed with the music. A skilled performer, Gary Clark Jr had the crowd wanting more. For his encore, he indulged the crowd with long awaited blues songs. The opening act, a DJ was a miss for me but some in the crowd enjoyed it.

  • Gary Clark Jr Stone Pony Summer Stage

by bobby d on 6/17/24Stone Pony Summer Stage - Asbury ParkRating: 5 out of 5

In a word - AMAZING. Gary and his band were absolutely great. The opening act (whose name escapes me) were really good too. Their harmonica player played with a style which reminded me of Midnight Rambler and When the Levee Breaks. Thanks Gary and all for a GREAT show!!!

  • He’s the bomb

by MC on 6/16/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

GCJ is an incredible singer, songwriter, guitarist, and performer! The QT! Quadruple Threat!

  • Blues and more

by Donna c on 6/16/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Gary Clark Jr is a master musician. His band and performance is better than the recordings. The night was perfect. .

  • Great show terrible venue

by Alimar on 6/16/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

Cary Clark Jr was exceptional. The reason for 3 stars is the result of continuous standing and no jumbotrons. Every time we got a good view (and this included us standing a taller person would appear and block our view. We moved several times. PLEASE GET SOME JUMBOTRONS!!

  • Loved the talent, not the seats

by JayGee on 6/16/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

Great musician!! Great set!!! ….venue super cute, BUT…. First time at this venue and I didn’t realize the rows were SO NARROW Section 2, DD, my toes are bruised and I was in sneakers. I am not overweight and I am nimble, I couldn’t get out of the way of ppl, it was impossible. . Drinks being spilled on me when I tried to get out of the crowded aisle. I go to shows all the time and this was memorable. If I return to thus venue, will get the end seat or I am not going.

  • Not what I expected, it was a "pop"concert

by JG on 6/16/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 2 out of 5

Not at all what i expected , he only played 3 blues songs, it was a "pop music"concert, very very very dissapointed. If I knew about his new albulm and style I would not have purchesed tickets.

  • FANTASTIC show!!!

by Estancia on 6/16/24Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

GCJ was unbelievably good. A fabulous 2-hour set + a 20-minute encore. I will go see him EVERY time he comes to RDU. The band, the sound, the lights, the Clark girls singing backup — ALL 10/10. Bravo!!

  • Vibing
