    amazing

by AtotheZizzle on 10/18/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

seen friendly fires 4 other times and this was as good, if not better, than the rest. and it was my first time to club nokia and i loved it. sounded great and it was clean (as in not dirty) which is much different than almost all other venues. only complaint was that pit entry was reserved for those who arrive early and got wristbands. i think that's lame. very disappointed to have missed theophilus, but i heard he put on a great show.

    Friendly Fires, amazing live performers!

I have seen Friendly Fires twice this year in the span of 4 months and i believe that already says something about their performance. They have great energy and keep the audience connected!

Friendly Fires is amazing live! They put on the best show I had seen all year. I can't wait to see them again. I think they're my new favorite band! Theophilus was a great opener too. He got the audience pumped.

    Theophilus London and Friendly Fires!

by Alexm101 on 10/17/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

I haven't been to many concerts as of yet, but I left this concert with the impression that it will always be my favorite and most memorable. I went with my close friend, I fellow Friendly Fires fan. The venue looked very clean and lighting effects were excellent. Theophilus London was entertaining and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Seeing Friendly Fires come in for the first time was like seeing the President (or I would imagine). Some highlights of the concert were when Ed jumped into the crowd (on two different occasions), when they plays there most popular songs like Skeleton Boy, Paris, and Lovesick, and when they came back after "leaving" for an encore.

They set the place on FIRE!

by SomethingKristen on 10/17/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

I saw Friendly Fires last weekend in LA, and they were nothing short of AMAZING. The quality of the music was incredible (near-perfect to what you hear on their albums, but with just enough grit that you know you're seeing them play live). And the dancing! Mind-blowing. I took a friend who had never heard of them before, and she left a converted fan. My only complaint would be that the set seemed shorter than many shows I've gone to, but it was still great regardless.

    Amazing!

by Englishgirl007 on 10/17/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Another fantastic show from Friendly Fires.....venue not as intimate as the Music Box, but the atmosphere and sound quality made up for that instantly. We missed the beginning of Theophilus London's set unfortunately, but loved what we saw. As ever, Friendly Fires don't disappoint....the albums are great but they're even better live!

    I'm still sore from dancing!

by SanDiegomusiclover on 10/17/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Friendly Fires was incredibly tight and energetic. I had been waiting to see this band for 2 years! Ed's dance moves inspired all to shake it to the groove. Both groups left everything on the stage and did not hold back one ounce! Theophilus London was a nice treat to discover live!

Friendly Fires and Theophilus London were amazing!

by miiiiranda on 10/17/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

This was the second time seeing the friendly fires this year. Saw them in June at the music box, I thought they were unforgettable the first time but this show made me realize that statement is very true. Ed Mcfarlane has an amazing presence, it was rumored he had been ill but his dance moves never seem to fail. I have seen many lives acts, but without hesitation the Friendly Fires are by far the best live act around.

    Friendly Fires was awesomeness

Friendly Fires performance was what I expected. Their closing act was great and they left you pumped up wanting more but like all good things they must come to an end.

    Friendly Fires: AWESOME as always!

by FitzChivalry on 6/13/11The Music Box - Hollywood

Friendly Fires are FANTASTIC live. They have so much energy and passion; they really put 100% into their performances. This was the second time I've seen them (the first time being on the tour for their debut album at the El Rey) and they were just as great this second time around. Their new songs definitely show progress, and are a bit moodier and not as full-out-dance-assault as the first album, but they still build to a great, dance climax. All-in-all this is a great, young band with a lot of promise and tons of energy. I can't wait to see what their future holds. GO SEE THEM IF YOU GET THE CHANCE!

    Friendly Fires were AMAZING

by miiiiranda on 6/12/11The Music Box - Hollywood

Friendly Fires were incredible, by far one of the best live acts. Their energy was fun and the crowd involvement made it even better! Ed, has a very good voice live as well, and his dancing made the experience one to remember.

Best live show I've ever seen.

by Anonymous on 6/12/11The Music Box - Hollywood

I would have to say that Friendly Fires put on what I would consider the single best live performance I have ever seen. Their cohesive energy and obvious passion for music (not to mention their raw talent) made for an unforgettable concert experience. As entertaining to watch as they are to listen to, Friendly Fires rocked the house accompanied by a killer light show that would make even the lamest of people want to dance. A perfect set.

Friendly Fires were so good live!

by AtypicalChick on 6/12/11The Music Box - Hollywood

As a newly recruited fan of Friendly Fires, I attended the show not knowing what to expect but pleasantly surprised. The lead singer sounds just like the record and they were full energy. I danced the whole concert and wished they had a longer set. If you're on the fence about going to see them - GO! You won't regret it.
