Amazing amazing amazing!!!!! A million times!!! I hope they come back very soon
I purchased these tickets in July (for a late October show). No discredit to Friendly Fires, I bought the tickets because of Theophilus London. After getting the tickets, I started listening to Friendly Fires a bit, and realize they were so sick!! Theophilus got sick and had to cancel his opening, but Friendly Fires rocked it so hard, the show was still amazing. So thanks to them.
Awesome show! The remodeled Paradise is my new favorite venue!
Theophilus London bailed. He was the reason i bought tix. THIS SUCKS.
Sounded great live, I left wanting to hang with the band. They were fun and energetic, great show!
It was soooo amazing! they always have so much energy and enthusiasm, and they're always getting the audience involved! (although this is the second time this season where Ed jumps into the audience and causes quite a stir... it's quite painful... maybe just crowd surf next time...) then it became better when security got involved. the rest of the show was incredibly awesome! i sang and danced the whole time! (as did most people)
This was the second time in months that I got to see Friendly Fires and again it was at the Paradise in Boston. The show was again absolutely amazing and I was able to introduce the Friendly Fires experience to three new people(my fiancee, and a close married couple). The air was oozing from the built up excitement and anticipation of show. The boys of Friendly Fires did not disappoint as they hit the ground running with classic hits like Skeleton Boy, Jump in the Pool, and On Board. Of course they had to bring the fire from their second album Pala via tracks like Pull Me Back to Earth, I’ll Live Those Days Tonight, and the soulfully sung Chimes. The crowd hit many energy high points dancing non stop through the classic song Paris, the ultra hit Blue Cassette, and my personal favorite True Love. There was too many highlights to keep count of because of the energy and dedication the band put forth. Whether people were dancing through Show Me Lights or singing through Love Sick there was something for everyone. The crowd refused to leave when they walked off the stage the first time because everyone could taste the furious encore that was only minutes away. After a brief pause the band returned to properly end the right by giving the crowd a divine recital of Hawaiian Air and Kiss of Life. This was the second time I was able to see Friendly Fires and I know that when they return I will be seeing them again. If you’re looking for something new, something authentic, and a group that plays for the delight of their audience than Friendly Fires is the band for you. Take it from Choco Thunda very few do it as well as Friendly Fires
If you get a chance to see Friendly Fires, do not pass it up. They put on an amazing and energetic show that shows how passionate they are about their music.
