Fran Lebowitz Tickets

I will never attend another event at this venue. I go all over trying to attend Fran Lebowitz events. I’m sure she will never return there. This is the old Uptown Theater in downtown Napa. I shudder to think what she thought of it. There should have at least been a heat lamp on the stage for her. Freezing temps outside and attendees in down parkas, wool caps and gloves. Never got better, even with a full house of body heat. And furnishings that looked like they had been hauled in from a landfill. The total absence of any heat was inexcusable. As for Fran, she delivered as brilliantly as ever. She deserved better than this.

The 30 minute interview and hour of questions from the audience went by so quickly! She is wickedly sharp and is never at a loss for words. Her take on all things political is so honest and unfiltered; I wish she had a weekly show.

Fran Lebowitz didn't disappoint us in any way. She is wry, sardonic and very funny. We love her New York style. I felt oddly comforted by her words about our dire political scene.

I had a great time and was happy to see Fran irl. I think the ticket was a bit pricey for the experience. But overall enjoyed myself.

Fran Lebowitz is always thought provoking and entertaining. She challenges the status quo and those on my side of the aisle but with her charming manner and never angry approach. Fran is always authentic and she is a treasure.

Delightful, unique and thought provoking. Don’t miss out seeing Fran if she comes to your town.

Rarely laugh out loud these days, except when listening to Fran live and watching her YouTubes. I wish I could have had asked her a question but my voice would not have carried enough for the auditorium. My English accent would have added to the inaudibility. Her style is impeccable. Lot's of of stories all very entertaining. No long goodbyes either. Thank you and goodnight☺❤ Hope she stick around forever.

The format requires a smaller venue than The Town Hall (and perhaps editing by Scorsese). Most annoying was the time-wasting questions from the audience. In a venue that large, no one could hear the audience members asking questions (mostly making long statements). Either Town Hall should have supplied staff with microphones in the aisles to hand to the audience members or distributed question cards to fill out, which would be collected and handed to Fran and Frank Rich. Much better would have been NO questions from the audience. That's for a cabaret-type setting. All in all, much less than we had hoped for--and we are big Fran fans.

Fran isn’t for the faint of heart; she’s for true New Yorkers. Intelligent, smart, respectful, witty and just irreplaceable!

Fran was witty and charming and smart. Woman in second row next to us had a cockroach jump on her shoulder. Guy behind us in third row had similar experience, different roach.
