Welcome to Margaritaville. There’s no better place to relax, sing along, and have the time of your life! Just listen to Brian from Ridgefield, CT, who says, “It’s like a two-hour Caribbean vacation right inside the theater.
”ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE is the Broadway musical for all of us—it’s the People’s Musical! This upbeat and energetic new show features all your favorite JIMMY BUFFETT classics, including “Volcano,” “Fins,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and many more. With a book filled with laughs from Emmy® Award winner GREG GARCIA (“My Name is Earl”) and Emmy® nominee MIKE O’MALLEY (“Shameless”), this electrifying new production is choreographed by Tony Award® nominee KELLY DEVINE (Rock of Ages) and directed by Tony Award® winner CHRISTOPHER ASHLEY (Come From Away). It’s the most fun you’ll have on Broadway. So don’t let the party start without you–get your tickets today!

This was fantastic, funny and we had an awesome time
Bought my parents tickets and we all enjoyed the show immensely
Thoroughly enjoyed show. All of Jimmy’s songs coupled with a uplifting story. Best of all Jimmy Buffett made an appearance at the end. Perfect evening.
Would go again! Talent was exceptional and lots of fun all throughout the performance.
The story was well written. The performance and performers were very talented. Wished some of the songs were sung longer, rather than just a few verses. If you like Jimmy Buffet music, and you liked Momma Mia you’ll love this show.
Great show! Fun and engaging! Sorry it’s leaving Broadway!
What an incredible cast on stage lead by Paul Alexander Nolan. He sang, dance, acted and played the guitar. Surrounded by such talented cast that really bring the joy to the music and the stage. The show is an escape to seat back and enjoy the fun, smile, laughs, good music. I was not familiar with Jimmy Buffet music, but once you watch the story unfold on stage, the music digs in. Thanks for the wonderful show.
Five of us saw Escape to Margaritaville @ 7 PM on Tuesday, June 12. We were ages 74 down to 11. Some adult humor, but not too much! Theatre was clean and comfortable.
Talent was unbelievable. Fast paced and fun with audience participation.
Can I give it 6 stars? It was awesome. Truly an escape to Margaritaville. Great storyline with wonderfully adapted Jimmy Buffett songs. My wife likes Buffett but she’s not a Parrothead, and she absolutely loved it. We want to see it again.
Sad this is closing! I thought it was a fun play! I loved the music. The actors/actresses were great.
This was a truly great show! The cast was amazingly talented, the show itself was really funny and entertaining, and of course, the music was spot on. I would love to see it again!
Other jukebox musicals have been very successful, particularly Jersey Boys, which had a compelling story. Moving Out focused on the music and dance, with only a cursory story. Sadly, Margaritaville succeeds in neither way. JImmy Buffett's songs are shoehorned into a silly story, often with the well-known lyrics changed annoyingly. The writing is not good, leaving the actors to say some stupid lines. They tried gamely enough, but not well enough to overcome the poor book. There were some fun moments, but overall this show was a disappointment to a Parrot Head like me. The Marriot Marquis is huge, but very comfortable with plenty of legroom- unusual for Broadway.
we had a great weekend in the city .. Escape to Margaritaville is a MUST See !!
After reading some of the reviews from the critics I was skeptical to bring my family to see the show but my husband who adores Jimmy Buffet wanted the tickets. The show was sing along FUN and the actors sang and played their parts Amazingly! Yes the theme was a little farfetched but it was to the music of Buffet and they did a great job!! And the puns were perfect! Life is so full of criticism today, Maybe the critics should learn to have a little FUN!!! .
Play was fun, a lot of laughs. You want to sing along. The characters were very good. The story line touches you. The scenery made you feel you were there. Enjoyable way to spend time with friends, spouses and family !
Applause for a production well done. The performances were professionally executed and the set designs were perfect. The music was integrated well. A fun afternoon for all.
Great show! Left the theater happy. Can't believe I heard it's closing. Music fantastic and great cast. The theater was hopping. I feel everyone at the show enjoyed it!
Just got back from a few days in NYC. Best part was Escape to Margarittaville. Absolutely fantastic!!! I wanted too see it a second time while we were there but I was overruled. If you love Jimmy Buffett, it is an absolute must see. The musical is loosely based on his life and the music is fantastic. If you are not familiar with Jimmy Buffett, it is still a must see. Great story. Vacation theme. Music is fantastic and you will be ready to plan your next beach escape. This is even a better excuse for a weekend get away to NYC but you have to hurry because they are taking it on the road after July 11th closing. Bad for NYC but great for the rest of us. I cannot wait until they bring it to Cincinnati!
