Totally worth seeing if your a Jimmy Buffet fan. The play was funny and the dancing was fun to watch.

Loved this play! . If you are familiar with Buffet's music you will especially like it: If you are a Parrothead, you will LOVE it! Great entertainment.

Written for Parrotheads and containing exclusively familiar Buffet tunes, it is a lot of fun for those of us that grew up on Jimmy's music and lifestyle coaching. The story line weaves many of the lyrics we know into a typical boy-meets-girls plot. Fun comes from recognizing these threads coming together and not from any dramatic turn of events. If you are not into JImmy Buffet you may choose a different event or better yet, get a Parrothead to take you and get into the fun. Plenty of laughs, in your face humor and music. To the NYT reviewer, don't take yourself or this show so seriously. There is room on Broadway for a little levity.

Saw "Escape to Margaritaville" on 6/20 with a friend and we both gave it thumbs-up! This was not your typical off-Broadway crowd as most of the audience was in Bermuda shorts, Hawaiian shirts, tropical prints, and flip-flops. It was like attending a Jimmy Buffet concert with the sing-a-longs too. Very fun, funny, and well written by JB of course!

What a story. Never looked at my watch once in the 2-1/2 hrs. Enjoyed the music and the actors and ensemble were great. Would go see it again. It's definitely one for your bucket list.

I can't believe this Musical is ending in Aug!!! People need to go see this!!! It's fun! The music is awesome! Cast gets audience involved! Cute story and plot! It's a good and positive experience!

big jimmy buffet fan liked all the performers music excellent

I have followed JB for years going back to the days when he sang in bars and one could get tickets to a concert at Jones Beach a few days before by simply going to the box office there. Those were the good days, before all the commercialism. The last concert I attended was in Ft. Lauderdale 3 years ago and saw nothing but the TV screen as the folks in front of me refused to EVER sit down. I won't go again. The price is outrageous and the venues too large. The old Jimmy so many of us truly loved and admired is long gone. Very sad. This musical looked back on those earlier times and songs but simply pointed out how far JB has gone from that original path. I expected a good drink at intermission but received a terribly watered down one at a very high price. I am happy to pay a good price for a GOOD drink, but this was not that. The theater was less than half full and many left at intermission. That was too bad as the second half was clearly better than the first.

Great story as you would expect! Talented group of actors and actresses keep the audience fully engaged throughout the show.

Got to go on Fathers Day. It was funny , has a good story, typical play dance numbers and of course if you know Jimmy Buffett songs they are worked in wonderfully, but I am a Parrot Head so I thought is is one of the best ever. I am an old white guy, but my 26 year old daughter liked it also Dont known why it's closing Go see it soon

FUN, FEEL GOOD, UPLIFTING, ENJOYABLE! AMAZING,TALENTED actors and did I say fun....its laugh out loud, smile until your cheeks hurt FUN! a shame that ny theatre did not embrace this show. its wonderful to just go and be entertained and leave feeling better than when you arrived. this is that show! GO, ENJOY. bring friends and family. make it memorable. there were people in the audience who did not know the music, and really were not buffett fans. 1 person thought he was coming to see jimmy in concert...does not matter. THIS SHOW IS TERRIFIC!

My husband and I had the best time at this show! The audience couldn't help but sing along with the cast. I truly don't understand why this show wasn't a bigger hit on Broadway and why it is closing so soon. Hopefully they take it on the road to a city near my home and I can take the whole family to see it.

This was a wonderful , colorful, and overall fun show. We really enjoyed the energy and talent of the cast. It is a joyous show and should not be missed !

Escape to MArgarittaville was a lot of fun! Some of the beginning segments were a bit too long but the story line was fine & the music fit well within the story. Plenty of comedy & good fun! THe beach balls were the icing on the cake!

A lot of fun. Everyone in colorful Hawaiian shirts and flower prints. The dancers were amazing! Loved the beachballs at the end.

Cute story written around the music of Jimmy Buffet. Loved the way everyone was singing along with the songs during the performance.

Cast gave it their best, but I left at intermission. Couldn’t bear to hear one more well loved song butchered

This show was so fun and full of energy!! I would definitely recommend people to see it!

Best feel good show ever. Must see if you are a parrot head. Hurry before it closes!!
