About

Erykah Badu, one of the world’s most revered singers, is widely credited as being the godmother of neo-soul. Badu’s blend of hip-hop swagger and smooth jazz draws inspiration from Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan, and has earned her a total of four Grammy nominations. Pitchfork described the four-time Grammy Award-winning artist’s 1997 debut album Baduizm as an “existential anchor of the neo-soul movement.” The triple-platinum album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and lead single “On & On” won the Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 1998 Grammy Awards. Badu’s enduring legacy was cemented on the road, where she has sung to sold-out crowds on multiple worldwide tours. The R&B legend has released five critically-acclaimed studio albums, and has been featured on hit songs by Busta Rhymes, Macy Gray and Janelle Monáe.

  • A-MAZING!!

by swiveldrummer on 11/22/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Erykah Badu is the consummate artist. For her to play her Mama's Gun album from front to back to celebrate 25 yrs since its birth was a gift to my ears. Sounded as good 25 yrs later live as the first time I ever heard it and saw her. She is truly one of the best and one of my all-time favorites and will always be. Her band...phenomenal...her stage...simple but very cool effects....her voice and presence...stronger than ever... A++++ and beyond! Don't miss her if you have the chance and if you don't know her, you should.

  • Worth the wait

by Musician78 on 11/22/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The spirit takes over and off she goes with her artistry, so worth the wait; let her get high first, she makes u commune with the universe; I didn’t wanna leave the atmosphere, sound was great as well

  • Slow and long wait !

by My first time with Erykah live on 11/21/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

So we had great 👍 seats very close, the sound quality at the hardrock live was fantastic! And so was Erykah's band she also had a great DJ playing some excellent music. The performance was great I enjoyed it, but Erykah should give her audience more in the times we live in now things are tight . People can make other choices if time isn't respected, 1hour 1/2 late cheats the People come on !!! Laurel hill had to learn it ! @ Erykah

Erykah’s voice is much more spectacular in concert. She’s a force. Great night all around.

  • She's a Great Artist...

by Dre' on 11/21/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Although she's a great artist and showman, but waiting 1 1/2hrs for her to perform was a bit much. I absolutely lover Erykkah, but my time is important too! Especially when I drove out of state to see this performance. We listened more to her DJ prior to her performance than we did her, because they made sure they stopped on time! I paid money for her, not for someone else playing songs I could have made alexa play in my kitchen.

  • Not good

by Cb on 11/21/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

Seating was very tight and show started 90 minutes late

  • Late start

by CC on 11/21/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Great show when it finally started. One hour and twenty-two minutes late. Gave us an hour and thirty-three minute show. Shows are way too expensive!!

by Jennifer on 11/21/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing! Erykah’s voice is just as pure as the album. She sang those songs down to the ground!! The lighting and visuals were simply the best!

  • So amazing

by Amanda on 11/21/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

She was amazing from start to finish. Definitely one of my top 5 concerts ever.

  • Best Concert I've Ever Experienced

by Fxs487 on 11/21/25MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to many concerts, but this was hands down the best. I grew up listening to Erykah Badu, and DAMN I'm mad it took me this long to see her live. This is not just a concert; it's an entire cultural experience. From the energy, visuals, fashion in the seats and on stage, sound, and of course, Erykah's timeless and unique voice, you're fully immersed and ultimately enraptured. No bull, I felt hungover the next day. If she's en route to your city, don't miss her. I promise you won't regret it.

  • Came on Stage 90 minutes late!

by Jersey Girl on 11/20/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

Great show! But she made us wait over 90 minutes before she came on stage!😡😠

  • I enjoyed the show even though it was a late start

by Peach on 11/19/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Strong vocalist Great performance very entertaining

  • Hard Rock Atlantic City

by Chris on 11/19/25Rating: 3 out of 5

She showed up extremely late. People were getting upset and a few that were around me left. She finally showed up around 10:15 and put on a killer show for about an hour. It was a shame but at the end of the day my wife was happy as she is a huge fan. Great artist, horrible punctuality. Such is art I guess.

by FoxyRoxy on 11/19/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

Waiting for 2 hours and performed for 1 hour and 15 minutes. At least let the people get their money worth.

  • Great show although 1 hour 45 min late starting

by B. H. on 11/19/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

Great show but the wait was ridiculous. There were no updates provided at all and no apologies given.
