Erykah Badu, one of the world’s most revered singers, is widely credited as being the godmother of neo-soul. by Forever 25 on 7/27/23I thought the performance was outstanding!! Ms. Badu was awesome on stage. That is when she finally got to the stage. The concert was set to began at 7:30 , Ms. Badu came out at 9:50. It was just a horrible wait! I spoke to others regarding her performance and late entrance. The review was the same, a friend and I agreed that to see her was great and we would love to go to another Badu concert. However, due to her tardiness we will not return.

by ashai on 7/26/23Idk who the first guy was-- he had great energy but vocals were kinda subpar. Now Yasiin Bey (i.e. Mos Def) was good and totally set the tone. And then Ms. Badu came on and sounded like I was in a studio recording! The lights, the sound, the vibes-- everything worked together to create a great performance. (And I was wayyyyy up in the terrace level, still saw a great show)
