EL TRI IN CONCERT:
In 2013, influential Mexican rockers El Tri continued their decade-spanning reign over Latin American music with the release of a Grammy-nominated new album, Ojo por Ojo . Releasing more than 30 albums over the last 40 years, El Tri have carried the torch for a generation of Latin rock bands, becoming as legendary for their hard-rocking live shows as they are for their recordings. Featuring drum solos, costumed Aztec dancers, and the preening showmanship of frontman Alex Lora, the band's 2013 tour dates were equal parts substance and spectacle, building excitement for another round of shows in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed by singer Alex Lora in 1968, El Tri released their first 15 albums as Three Souls in My Mind before changing their name in 1985. The band's early work consisted mainly of English-language covers of American rock songs, however the changing attitudes of Mexico's youth culture led the band to begin performing songs in Spanish in the '70s. The shift struck a chord with disgruntled young rockers, boosting the band's popularity and leading to a string of working-class rock albums throughout the '70s and '80s. With the release of Simplemente In 1985, El Tri became the first Mexican rock outfit to score a gold record, setting the stage for their ever-increasing popularity throughout North and South America.
The show was fun over all but the place need better control ..ppl where blocking the stairs and not letting ppl in and out ..there was lots of space on the floor and they didnt wanna let ppl threw . They need a security on the stairs ..
I thought it was an amazong expierencw however start time wasnt till 9pm even tho show starts at 7pm. Show was extremelt short and ended at 10:45 pm . Was fun but feel kinda ripped off for the time

The show was amazing. The energy from the band and everyone there was perfect. The staff of the venue was amazing too. Highly recommend going to one of their shows!!

How is the concert scheduled to start at 7pm but bands dont show up till 9pm. And had to wait in a dark alley before the venue opened up. Terrible.
I went with my bro, it was my first time going to a Rock concert! It was a Great Time and obviously the performers have had a Long Trayectory. Im looking forward to the next time they come. It Get's Wild in there but it's super enjoyable. El Tri will Always be ome of Mexico's Greatest!

Loved the show but it was overcrowded. Maybe limit the sale of tickets so everyone can enjoy the show not pushing each other.

We have been at the House of Blues in Anaheim a couple of times and have had a great time on both events. My wife and I appreciate that the security team is actually vigilant and on task, not bothering people but actually getting the job done.
They played better that ever, lots of emories and flashbacks. Thatnk you Tri for those moments!
