EL TRI IN CONCERT:
In 2013, influential Mexican rockers El Tri continued their decade-spanning reign over Latin American music with the release of a Grammy-nominated new album, Ojo por Ojo . Releasing more than 30 albums over the last 40 years, El Tri have carried the torch for a generation of Latin rock bands, becoming as legendary for their hard-rocking live shows as they are for their recordings. Featuring drum solos, costumed Aztec dancers, and the preening showmanship of frontman Alex Lora, the band's 2013 tour dates were equal parts substance and spectacle, building excitement for another round of shows in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed by singer Alex Lora in 1968, El Tri released their first 15 albums as Three Souls in My Mind before changing their name in 1985. The band's early work consisted mainly of English-language covers of American rock songs, however the changing attitudes of Mexico's youth culture led the band to begin performing songs in Spanish in the '70s. The shift struck a chord with disgruntled young rockers, boosting the band's popularity and leading to a string of working-class rock albums throughout the '70s and '80s. With the release of Simplemente In 1985, El Tri became the first Mexican rock outfit to score a gold record, setting the stage for their ever-increasing popularity throughout North and South America.

Great event , wish they make this again soon had great night !!
Took my Hispanic father to his first concert of his favorite band Growing up. It was so good n not too full because of the pandemic. Awesome experience
El Tri concert was a blast. Please bring more Latino rock bands.
Excellent Place, friendly staff. Good group and extraordinary people
The poster stated that Mago de Oz was going to play, and they never showed up, I went to the concert just to see El Mago de Oz. Also the o doing bands only played for about 30 minutes, I don’t think that was enough time for us to enjoy them.
As usual, great show by El Tri! Only issue, one of the bands listed, Mago de Oz, was a no show and the announcement was made at the end.
The show was great. Disappointed that Mago de Oz didn't come and the other two played only 25 min. You should let us know. But, it's was a great show. I enjoyed very much.
The group i really bought the tickets to go experience didn't show up.
I loved every moment of this. I will definitely come back again.
Victimas del doctor cerebro fue lo mejor!! I love it.
Great people, good experience. I live the concert.
It was great. I had lots of fun. It was nice to be able to move around and not be confined to a seat. Band kept playing none stop with no breaks in between the show. It was so worth it.
All bands put an amazing show but the second to the last band took longer and the last band took forever to start. It took them 30 minutes to set up. Overall, my sister and I had an awesome time, can't wait for next year.
No assigned seating, standing all night, yoi didn't want to move or you would loose your place. People started shoving when event started, lines for drinks were way too long.
My review on this is pretty muchh good. I had a great time, enjoyed it And would go again. My only problem is the time for every band. Show was ending at 2AM, and waited for Mago for over 45 mins to start. Also the barricade that separated both sections was tooo far. The VIP was empty yet we couldn't see because it was far
It was a nice concert not security at all though. The guy checking people was just letting everyone in. There was a lot of people smoking inside, some people jump from the General Admission to the VIP section.
I have been to better venues where the general admission is like the Anaheim Convention Center's VIP. Non of my family members were impressed by the venue. The bands, however, rocked the place as expected.
We're very disappointed!!! We paid to enjoy a concert NOT to heard about politics. Alex Lora categorized us as a whole. Just because I like his music doesn't mean that I feel/believe the same as everyone in the concert. It was of a very bad taste to insult the president elect of this country. It was not his place. Someone next to us to asked...is everyone here Democrat? Not only that, he spent more time talking than singing. Singer, celebrities, players, etc. Should stick to their role of "entertainment/entertainmeners". I really want my money back.
