About

With over 13 million albums sold worldwide and an astonishing 55 songs on the Billboard charts, Los Tucanes de Tijuana are one of the most prolific and acclaimed norteĂąo acts in the world. Formed in 1987 from the music scene of Tijuana's nightclubs, the group's humble beginnings gave way to international stardom and celebrated live concerts at iconic venues such as Dodger Stadium and the ZĂłcola, a plaza in Mexico City with a capacity of 100,000. With the release of 365 DĂ­as in 2012, Los Tucanes landed at No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and won their first Latin Grammy for Best NorteĂąo Album. The group began as a quartet consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Mario Quintero Lara, vocalist/accordionist Joel Higuera, bassist Mario Moreno, and drummer David Servin. Their songs include ballads and dance tracks marked by double-entendres and lyrical stories that represent the realities of life for many Latinos, making them a favorite with ticket buyers. Los Tucanes de Tijuana have received several awards from the Billboard Mexican Music Awards, BMI Awards, and were featured in 2010 in the first-ever Spanish-only program at the Grammy Museum.

    Hands down, the best concert I've been to this year! The Horseshoe Venue is super intimate not to big, so every seat is a good seat! The lights, the music, the vibes all on point!. They played longer, I would definitely pay to see them again!!!

    I refuse to see them at Plaza Garibaldi! This venue was fantastic! What a performance😍 I would see them again.

    It could have been better

    by Show was good but organizers sucked on 3/28/24

    Paid for front row tickets and since ticket sales didn’t go as the venue planned so they let others move closer at no extra cost and tons of people blocked the view due to them standing on chairs. Oh and there were underage drinking. (Topeka ks) only enjoyed the first 40 mins of the show.

    Seat tickets were great, the view was awesome. Los Tucanes put on an incredible show. I will visit Choctaw again, to take advantage of the casinos n the special events.
