About

Song by timeless song Eggy reaches out a hand, inviting you along as a great story unfolds. Eggy's music traces the full spectrum of emotions, evoked by a life well-lived alongside friends well-loved.

Eggy formed from a high school dream into a full-fledged reality. Aligning together in 2016, the lineup of Alex Bailey (drums, vocals), Jake Brownstein (guitar, vocals), Mike Goodman (bass, vocals) and Dani Battat (keys, vocals) has captured the ears of listeners across the USA and beyond.

Following the release of their 2019 debut record, "Watercolor Days," the band has toured constantly, performing in over 40 states. Amidst their travels in 2021, Eggy stopped in Nashville to record two singles, released as Nashville Tapes the following year. Highlights from the band's many eclectic shows have been handpicked by the band for consumption, including the most recent "Eggy Selects: Spring Tour 2023, Vol. 1)."

Eggy's new record, "Waiting Game," is out now. Co-produced by White Denim's James Petralli, "Waiting Game" showcases the band's artistry through a concentrated and refined studio approach as a compliment to their exploratory live shows.

  • EGGY in Boston!

by Rachel on 11/20/23Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert ever! These guys are smoking hot. I don't love the Brighton Music Hall though. Very crowded and the parking was rough. But Eggy is the best. I feel lucky to have seen them before they make the big time and start playing the stadiums. I hope that they do. They deserve it!

  • ascendant fan friendly jam band

by Big Fan on 8/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Went to see them 3 days in a row and they did not disappoint. This show, especially the expended improvised encore was fabulous. Can't wait to see them again. Really nice guys who appreciate fans showing up and are willing to speak with them before or after the show when possible. Venue was comfortable with very good sound. Burger surprisingly good. Paid extra for table but no table service? Anyway no regrets; just good memories! OK Alex get the show up on nugs for everyone to enjoy!!

  • Exceeded Expectations

First time seeing them in person. All four were really tight, listened well to each other and the jams flowed into some spacey places. Have already looked at when I ’ll be seeing them next 🤘🏼

  • Fun and funky

Eggy was great. I found them originally at Peachfest and wanted to see them again. I really enjoyed the opener Stolen Gin.

  • Another bad Egg

by Peter on 5/2/23The Wonder Bar - Asbury ParkRating: 1 out of 5

I went last year for $10. They were okay. The opening band Fungkshui was better. However, my friends said it wasnt one of their good nights. Whatever that means. Luckily my friend sold me a ticket for $18, but it was still the same song n dance. They are simply a poorman’s Spafford. They go way too slow and need to turn their Tempos up. The only good part of their show was when special guest Jimmy Law stole the show. Rather it was the fact he was in the audience or jamming on stage with them. Lastly, the Wonder Bar does not offer a proper amount of bartenders on a Saturday night.

  • What a STUPENDOUS group of musicians

by Astro on 11/8/22The Foundry - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Loved their sound. Danced all night. Could have done without the constant strobes and LED’s in my eyes but that maybe from the shape of the room.

  • Must see now

by Jesse on 6/12/22The Southern Cafe & Music Hall - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Everything about this band is perfect. They start each show slow and build it up as it goes. They are phenomenal musicians and song writers. Their covers are more precise and clean than the original versions. This is probably the most humble band you will meet also. They love to converse with their fans before and after the shows. Go see Eggy before they are huge and it’s not cheap and intimate anymore. Do your soul a favor!
