  • Terrible Show

by So Bad on 1/6/25Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

I'm sorry - I love the Grinch (both the original movie and the Illumination adaptation), but this show was painful to sit through. The songs and the acting were awful. The story was so poorly written, just don't waste your time. If there was an intermission I would have left.

  • Do NOT take small children

by Reardo on 12/27/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

There is a whole scene where they have the parents shop for, and then hide, the Santa presents. My wife and I looked at each other like, "is this really happening?"So if you have little ones that you're still trying to get away with the magic of Santa I would highly advise to avoid this show. Who thought that was a good idea??? The guy that played the Grinch was great, as was the narrator, and the little girl. The rest of the case was Meh. But the biggest reason for the rating is that one scene. Wow

  • Great family show

  • I’d say skip this one

by MassMom on 12/26/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

It was a cute but grossly overpriced for what it was. (We saw Taylor Swift for less than this haha) We brought our older children as this was advertised as fun for all ages…definitely for the MUCH younger crowd but we made the best of it! Theatre etiquette seemed to have gone right out the window for this show which was disheartening to say the least. People up and down the aisles for the entire show and audience talking filled the theatre which was extremely annoying. We won’t be doing this one again.

  • Great show

by Don on 12/26/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Like always great shows at the wang center. Just wish they would not let people in late can’t believe all the people that arrived late for the show and were walking in front of you as the show was going on…

  • Fabulous Show

by Nana D on 12/26/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

We brought our children and grandchildren. The show was wonderful! Not too scary for the young ones and very entertaining for adults. The actor who played the Grinch was fantastic! This was our 3 time seeing this show over many years but this performance was the best!

  • Great Play, Poor Audience Control

by Dan C on 12/24/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

The play itself was great. However, we did not get to see or hear the first 10 minutes of the show due to people being allowed to stand in the isle and come into the play late. I was disappointed with the constant interruptions by people coming and going during the entire performance. It seems as though proper decorum is not encouraged at The Wang.

  • Grinch the musical

by Martha on 12/24/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It was awesome! I was very impressed with the production and quality overall. The little actress that played Cindy Lou Who was phenomenal and a show stopper!!!!

  • Loved It!

by Julissa on 12/24/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

It was a gift that my daughter had received and we had a great time. I might have teared up a bit here and there. So worth it!
