Disney Presents The Lion King (Chicago) Tickets

I've seen several Broadway shows and this was by far the best! The Lion King has always been my favorite Disney movie and this experience was awesome! The costumes and production were unbelievable and the acting and singing was perfection! I would highly recommend seeing this if you're able to. A lady sitting next to my group had her phone out and was recording and taking pictures for about 30 minutes until an usher came and told her to stop so please don't do that lol it's very rude and distracting to others. I'm glad the venue enforced that rule.

The show was beautiful, both of my boys throughly enjoyed the performance. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to any and all needs! We will definitely go back for another sensory friendly show if one is offered!

Overall show was wonderful. Entering into the theatre was very congested & more organization should be implemented. Understandably security was very tight, however, an announcement should be made stating that once the show begins after intermission, no one may go to the restroom for X amount of minutes. Difficult for a child to understand.

Fourth time I’ve seen the show in four different cities. Never disappoints. Amazing music, sets and costumes. You know the story but so worth experiencing.

I ordered six(6) tickets for my family as Christmas gifts. We thourouly enjoyed the show and had a great time! I was disappointed with the tickets because they were not what I expected. The seating chart was confusing, I thought the DCircle tickets I ordered were on the main floor. The chart did not list them as balcony seats. which I did not want. The costumes were exquisite and the music was great!

It's been thrilling to experience a revival of Broadway's greatest acheivements in my backyard once again. To that end, this production of The Lion King was out of this world, over the top, gloriously executed. The understudies and swings all did an amazing job, but my son was especially amazed, as we all were, at the talented boy playing young simba, only 10 years old! And props to the young Nala, who didn't state her age but who clearly had just joined the cast and did a fantastic job learning a challenging role. Honestly, how do you sing at that age and control a zambonie ostrich puppet at the same time? Even though we were up in the second balcony, everything could be seen and experienced. When I saw this production in the same theater 13 years ago I was in the first balcony and enjoyed being up close to the ensemble performing in the house for the opening of the second act. But being even higher up, I got an amazing view of everything the two percussionists were doing throughout the show which I had completely missed the first time. The puppetry, the pagentry, most importantly the dancing and the singing, were all above and beyond! It was a mostly young cast with powerhouse, making-it-to-the-bigtime performances. While my only regret is refusing booster seats for my children (big mistake, they had a hard time seeing everything for their first musical downtown), I plan to bring my children back to the theater in the future. Thank you for an unfortgettable afternoon with my family.

They honestly should have done what they did with Hamilton and put the Lion King on Disney Plus of the theatric experience instead of making a whole new movie that does not do the story justice. The musical was absolutely fantastic. I wish I could watch it over and over again. Everyone was talented and passionate about the art that they have put on that stage and it is an experience that I will always remember. A beautiful show and a beautiful cast. The music and the set design was more than anything I could have imagined.

We loved everything about this production ~ other than the fact that the volume of the primary characters was WAY TOO QUIET!! I found myself looking to the captioning at the side to figure out what they were saying! I contemplated leaving to tell someone, but just couldn't find a good place to leave the show. I feel that something like that should've been managed prior to the show starting. I'm sure that there was a sound check prior to the show starting! I hate struggling to hear what is being said!

I don’t know how this can be enforced but when Lion King/Disney says this play is not for kids under 6, they mean it. Parents were not controlling their kids and it was ruining the play with them running back and forth in their toe and talking loudly.

Costuming, singing, acting, use of puppets - and the theatre - everything about the show was awesome.

Best musical ever!!! You have to see for yourself.

Unfortunately this show is priced at or above Broadway rates but doesn't compare. I hate to say it as my whole family was so excited to see the performance but we were all fairly underwhelmed. It just isn't close. If it were half the price we paid we might have felt better about it but I would regrettably suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

I saw a video on a broadcast of the original Disney play of the Lion King. I didn't think that play could be topped. I was wrong. While aspects of this broadcasted play was superior, when the Chicago's Lion King's play brought tears to my eyes, I knew the original play had been surpassed. The imagination and execution of the Cadillac Place's play was outstanding. The only reason for not giving it a 5-star rating is the ticket price. To get a decent seat good enough to see a play, you have to pay more than I am willing to pay often. I can only affort perhaps one play a year. I would like to see more, but ticket prices prohibit this. Perhaps a subscription offering with perferred seating could be a possiblity. If the high ticket prices could be mitigated, I would see more plays.

Took 7 year old great grandson and we loved it, start to finish! Better than the first time I saw it, great cast and wonderful production.

The music and the actors were excellent! It was visual buffet! The stage designs and the costumes were unique and beautifully made! I recommend to all ages!

I was sold a ticket for a seat that did not exist. The manager at the theater offered to let me sit in the lobby and watch it on TV.

I was really looking forward to this show and I was really disappointed. I’m not sure if it was due to the speakers, location of the seats or the cast but the sound quality was terrible. The opening and ending acts were disappointing for being such robust and powerful songs. My seats were Orchestra R, Row U and toward the outside aisle. It was hard to hear at times and just an overall let down.

This was my second time seeing this, I saw it several years ago and thought it was fantastic. This time I took my grandson and daughters with me. Watching the look on his 12 year old face was enough. This cast was pure magic. It was beautiful and so well done. It was a perfect experience.

Exceptional production. The young actors are phenomenal.
