  • Nice

by Dru on 10/20/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I thought the show was very nice, however I didn’t like the fact that when I went to the restroom, I had to wait 10 minutes to go back to my seat so I missed some of the show. I didn’t speak with an host at the show who apologized and explained to me that Disney wanted it that way! The tickets aren’t cheap and you don’t know when you have to go to the restroom! Otherwise that it was a beautiful show and the little Nyla did an amazing job, they all did honestly but she reminds me of my granddaughter with all her energy. Wonderful show but it’s not fair to make the guest wait to go back to their seat it they have to go to the restroom so I probably won’t go again because of that, shame on whoever came up with that rule, because of that rule I missed some of the show.

  • Awesome

This was by far my favorite show I've seen on stage! The cast was magnificent and the music was so good I can't stop listening to it!

  • Amazing!

by Nisani on 10/19/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

You got to see it to believe it. We're still in awe. It's hard to explain but definitely a must see in your lifetime. This is our 3rd time in 20 years. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend dress circle seating. Thank me later.

This was a truly lovely performance that thrilled adults and children tonight. This production couldn’t have been better. The music and acting were outstanding. Highly recommend!

  • Big Kid...Awesome Experience

by LadyDi on 10/19/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I had the best time seeing "The Lion King"for the second time! The play was just as beautiful, exciting, and entertaining as 15+ years ago! Plus the staff members were very politie, kind, and helpful! The big kid in me purchased a mug and a Simba teddy bear. I was more excited than the kids! Also, I had a parking issue with iParkit that was fairly and quickly corrected by Ticketmaster. Conversely, iParkit treated the issue unfairly, requested unnecessary excessive documentation, and overall poor customer service with no consideration. I will avoid their parking garages at all costs.

  • The show is wonderful; the theater is abysmal

by Lifelong theater lover on 10/19/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The show is wonderful; gorgeous. The Cadillac Palace Theater is a nightmare. Hundreds missed the opening number (including me and my daughter) because of unforgivably disorganized and slow security. Shameful. Inexcusable. Grossly unfair—especially when considering the price of the tickets. Management should be ashamed and should offer compensation to those impacted.

  • great time at cadillac theatre chicago ewing the lion king

by Kilo on 10/18/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

show was great, the props and the acting was brilliant, music was even better, a lot of the same music from the original but the occasional change of song and with some humour built in too.

  • Insatiable story

by VanA. on 10/18/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The musical was great. A superb and unimaginable visual delight! There was only one aspect of the production that was a little frustrating - the audio. I was sitting 7 rows back from the stage and could barely hear the voices of little Nahla and Simba when they were singing. That goes for adult Nahla. Although I could tell she had a beautiful voice, I couldn't make out the words at a crucial point in the story when she was explaining how the forest had been destroyed under Scars reign. In general the audio was low. It was still a great musical and I had a good time.

  • I loved the Lion King

I loved the show. I waited so long to be able to see the lion King and it was worth the wait.

  • Phenomenal

by Susieq on 10/18/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Where do I begin? First let me say I was blown away. Our seats were in the third row from the stage. I’m not privy to getting such seats but “Awesome”. The costumes were beautiful and all the details on each and every one I can’t stop talking about them. The actors, the singing, the music and the props were the best. No wonder it is the #1 musical!!! When it returns to Chicago I would bring my teenage grandchildren. It brings back all the memories of watching the movie when they were little. Thank you to everyone involved in this wonderful production!!!!!

  • Awesome!

by Dar on 10/15/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

My husband & I took our 7 yr. old granddaughter & the look on her face when the characters walked down the aisle was priceless! The only negative experience is trying to get to the bathrooms @ the Cadillac Palace theatre.

  • Lion King Chicago 2025 simply Stunning

by Christina on 10/14/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The costumes are amazing. The music helps elevate the experience. The visionary design—combining puppetry, costume, and choreography—remains the soul of the production. The Lion King is a must-see theatrical event. It’s a celebration of creativity, culture, and the circle of life itself!

  • Another fantastic Disney production

by ML on 10/13/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

We have now seen Aladin, Beauty and the Beast and Lion King and they never disappoint. The costumes in this production are amazing, as well as the actors performing throughout the theater during some parts of the show. My only complaint is for whatever reason, people seem to be coming and going from the theater constantly, which is distracting. As well, the usher that was positioned next to my seat could not stand still for more than a few seconds, which was a major distraction!

  • Lots of pretty props but there’s no soul

by Anne on 10/13/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I kept asking myself if the actors were lipsyncing because there was no heart in this performance. I don’t know if Disney is always this strict with their performances because there was no room for personality. The props were beautiful.

  • Great show!

by Foolsk on 10/13/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

What a wonderful production. Really enjoyed the talented singers and dancers in the show. The costumes and animal creations were fabulous!

  • Getting tickets to wallet

by Scott Vancura on 10/13/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was FANTASTIC!!! Everything was top notch! If there is one thing that could have been easier, would have been to be able to put our tickets into my Wallet. There were options to send or sell the tickets, but you could not put into the wallet. I do not see a lot of shows, but that would have made things easier. Again, EXCELLENT show. Great singing, great costumes, well done!

  • Still Breath-taking!

    by Besser1224 on 10/12/25Cadillac Palace - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 3rd time seeing this production. The first time I was 16 and it was on Broadway (NY) and the opening number brought me to tears, I was so overwhelmed. Now, it is 24 years later and I brought my little boys to see the touring show in Chicago. Seeing them blown away by the opening number brought tears to my eyes again. It was like full circle (of life..sorry, cheesy I know).
