Actors, costumes and dancing were great. However, the sound was not the best. Not loud enough and was difficult to hear what the actors were saying and singing. Also, it was way too hot in the theatre.
Oh my goodness!!! This musical was WONDERFUL!!! I was so in awe of the cast in the animal costumes. The visuals, colors, singing, everything was beautiful! The giraffes were my favorite. I absolutely loved how Mufasa 'appeared' in the 'clouds'. The singing was outstanding! 'The Lion King' has been one of the best productions I've seen so far.
We saw Lion King in Chicago, and it was amazing. The roles were all well cast and performed. The intricacy of all the animals was really incredible. Staging was creative and well done. Great music, well performed by the pit orchestra. My wife says this is the best show she has ever seen. All in all, a great evening!
The Lion King was absolutely amazing. I loved it. Took my 11 year old niece and she also loved it. The performances were great. The theater, itself, was beautiful. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. All the staff were very polite, courteous and very helpful.
My husband and I have seen The Lion King when it opened on Broadway as well as at Broadway in Chicago. This was, by far, the poorest rendition. There were some outstanding performers including John E. Brady as Pumbra (we think we saw him in NYC), Gugwana Clamimi as Rafiki, Khalifa White as Nala, Jordan Pendleton as Young Simba, and Gerald Ramsey as Mufasa but the remainder of the performers were marginal at best. We especially were disappointed with Darian Sanders who had poor voice projection and no acting skill. I think this was an adequate performance for young people but it left a lot to be desired for adult attendees.
I had been looking forward to seeing The Lion King for a while and although there were a couple stand out performances (Like Mufasa), the whole production was pretty disappointing. It was like most of the cast was phoning it in. Transitions were poorly executed, choreo was all off and the vocals were just okay. In addition, the sound system at Cadillac did not help any of that out. Could be that it was just a bad night (since it was Wednesday) but overall two stars.
Marble interferes with internet inside. Suite tickets did not open before end of intermission. Waste of money! Add to Apple Wallet or transfer tickets before arrival. Also, screenshots accepted by scanners. Finally, seating chart for ticket purchases may differ from actual theater seating arrangement. Beware.
The show was so imaginatively produced! Everything about the Ticketmaster process was smooth, especially the event reminder emails with details to attend to prior to arrival. Really appreciated the advance parking pass as well.
The performance was great, colorful, dancers and singers were superb. I enjoyed greatly.
FROM BEGINNNING TO END THE SHOW IS MUST SEE & SIMPLY PHENOMINAL, AND I'M NOT OVERLY DRAMATIC SO TAKE IT FROM ME IT WAS WORTH EVERY CENT.
It was an exhilarating experience to watch, especially the opening, will want to watch it again.

I have seen the show with my children years ago and I took my grandson this time. We both loved it. We were impressed with the talent and presence of the young actors. The singing voices of all the actors were fabulous. Quite a phenomenal group. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
This was everything. This was my first time and I really enjoyed the show. Would definitely see it again. Thank you to the performers and all who were involved in this production for not disappointing.
The best Disney production! I was as entranced as my 10 & 13 year old grandchildren. I would highly recommend this production!
Took our entire family; oldest 96 and youngest 3!!! It was a mesmerizing show of color, music, scenery and talented actors and singers. Digital Tickets in “my wallet” were in conflict with Ticketmaster tickets because I transferred 4 of 8 tickets to my son’ s phone. We had to go to box office to get rectified.. a real big hassle. They told us it is a common problem.. downside to digital tickets. Prefer paper as I am “ old school.” All in all…a wonderful show and would do it again in a heartbeat!

I've been wanting to see Lion King for years and it did not disappoint! So high energy!!! The show had me captivated from start to finish. The 2 1/2 hours show flew by and left me wanting more. I loved that although it's a musical, it had dialogue as well. The actors coming through the audience was AWESOME! It made you feel a part of the show. I felt like a kid watching this show. If I could afford it, I would see it again. It was a wonderful birthday outing.
Best show we've seen yet. The cast was outstanding and very talented across the board.
