Saw a production of the Lion King many years ago. I made a promise to myself that I would see it again if it was ever back in Chicago. This time I took my husband and I think we both were mesmerized by this fantastic production.
for this to be my first ever broadway show this was AMAZING! From the costumes, acting, music and the storyline it was 10/10 professional I loved every minute of it and what made it better was I was front row center! Best experience yet!
Absolutely the best musical I have ever seen! Words do it no justice. I highly recommend that everyone see this magical event!
This was my second time seeing The Lion King, and it was a phenomenal experience. I saw the first play over 10 years ago, and it has undergone significant changes. The special effects and the dialogue were different, entertaining, and relatable to current times. I would definitely recommend that all families, regardless of age, witness and observe the "circle of life."

I absolutely loved this show. The singing, dancing, costumes, and lighting were beautiful. I want to see it again.
We first saw this production when my sons were children. The opening song touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Now my sons are adults and we saw it for the second time together. The opening song rekindled those same emotions in me. We really enjoyed this production. It was extremely well done. Each scene flowed into the next effortlessly. The sounds and the costumes were meshed into excitement. The Actors resonated the theme of the production. Easily 5 stars. Thanks!

My mom wanted to go see The Lion King, it was a great show, we enjoyed it so much! Would see it again!!
We went to see Disney’s lion king in downtown Chicago this past weekend. I had seen it many years ago in the same theater and wanted my kids to see it. The costumes were beautiful and the actors. Wonderful but the sets were really lacking. We are big Theatre buffs and I guess because this was a traveling show, there wasn’t much to the set. The elephant graveyard is impressive, but other than that we were a bit disappointed. There were times that the mics were not functioning properly or turned off. I even was surprised that the opening number wasn’t completely in sync. I expected more I guess… The tickets were not cheap and we had great seats, but for what we spent I guess I expected more
