  • $38 for two slushies!

by Mommybug82 on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was very good! Our kids 3 and 6 enjoyed it! Although we expected to pay $50 for two toys we did not expect to pay $15 each for a souvenir cup with a slushie in it. Even more mind blowing the straws were an extra $4 each! $38 for crushed ice and a cheap cup is a little steep Disney! Tickets are cheap but they make up for it!

  • Very Magical!

by SMun on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 4 year old nephew to see this although he was not very impressed I was. The show was beautiful with lots of things to catch the eye. It kept you entertained throughout the night and also was interactive with the kids.

  • My Twin Grandauthers Love It!!!

by KaliJo on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. We had great seats. Just was a little disappointed that none of the Frozen characters where in the Celebration. Also, why do all the souvenirs have to be so expensive?

  • We all Loved it!!

I have an 8, 4, 3 and 17 year old. They all loved it!! my little ones were a little afraid with the Jack the pumpkin king part of the show but they loved everything else. They kept talking about the show all weekend :) Definitely recommend it for all the family!!

  • Disney on Ice was amazing

by Cahughes22 on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

We took our boys aged 2, 6, and 12 and I was worried they may not all enjoy it. However that was quite the opposite. They had a nice aray of different charaters that it was entertaining to them all. Plus it was fun to see the skating. We had perfect seats for the arena and would certainly go again!

  • Disney On Ice

by SJFOR on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

Show was awesome! 6 & 4 year old's cheered the whole time! Adults enjoyed it as well. Souvenirs and food was pricey, so take cash!

  • Great Show!

by hml10 on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great and our family really enjoyed it. One thing that would make it better would be if the kids could meet the characters before or after the show.

  • Daughter loved it

by ThePersonWhoReviewed on 2/16/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

I've taken my daughter for the past 3 years to Disney on Ice and every time she is right along with them clapping and singing along she loves it, well worth the smile on her face to pay extra for closer tickets. I take her for her birthday because this event is always right around the corner from her birthday she turns 5 this year and she just loved it.

  • Disney On Ice; "Let's Celebrate"

by grandpaof11 on 2/15/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 3 out of 5

Over all the show was great, colorful, busy, entertaining, and worth the money, to purchase a ticket (6 tickets purchased) However two things were disappointing!! 1) Many Disney characters were presented; however the Frozen characters were NOT for some reason?? 2) Many Holiday themes were presented, in colorful displays and skits with the Disney characters of course!! When the Christmas theme was presented, Mickey Mouse entered the ice, with a LOUD "HAPPY HOLIDAY'S" greeting?? I CLEARLY remember in the " Mickey Mouse, Christmas cartoons" it was ALWAYS A LOUD "MERRY CHRISTMAS" from Mickey!! The American majority of people says we are a CHRISTIAN NATION, why does even Disney think they have to cater to the "worldly wishes" of a few?? :-)

  • Disney on Ice

by Anonymous on 2/15/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 2 out of 5

We were a bit disappointed. The kids would have liked more current Disney characters. Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa., etc. get rid of Lilo and Stich. My littles dont even know who they are. Also the placement of the intermission was strange. There was maybe 15 minutes of show after intermission.

  • Disney on ice

by Ayahuasca on 2/15/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 1 out of 5

It was terrible. We went last year to Disney on ice and it was great, hands down a 5 star experience. This year the plot was terrible, my kids were bored and they are 3 and 5. It was sick a let down after last year. I will not bother taking them again. Last year they reenacted the Disney stories. This year you watched couples skate to music. Really disappointed

  • Disney Does not Disappoint

by garbonzo on 2/15/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

We are a couple who has no kids...but always end up going to Disney on Ice because it actually gives us a break from reality for a few hours.....and this year again, Disney did not disappoint. Brand new format and show and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole program. Couldn't believe how fast time went, which is always a good sign you are being entertained. Don't hesitate to take in this show when you get a chance...with kids...or without!

  • We love Disney on Ice!

  • Disappointed

by Anonymous on 2/14/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 2 out of 5

Having been to many Disney on Ice shows, I found this show to be incredibly dull and boring. I felt like I wasted my money going to this one. My daughter even wanted to leave during the intermission but we started after spending all that money! The characters did have great crowd interactions with those sitting along the ice which was nice. I was also surprised by the frequency of main characters falling....I'm glad Ariel was ok after Prince Eric fell while holding her high in the air! Overall if you are looking to go to a Disney on Ice show for the first time I would wait for something else. Very disappointed.

  • Recommend but...

by Kristilk on 2/14/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

The first half of the show was really really good. The back half was terrible. Some of the props were placed too close to the middle of the ice that even we couldn't see what was going on. I am happy that they finally came up with a new theme though. They seem to recycle the same 3. My daughter had fun. As did I the first half. That's all that matters.

  • Disney on Ice is great for all ages.

by bnotsforlife on 2/14/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time to a Disney on Ice and as an adult the show was amazing. My 4 year old was so excited to see so many of her favorite (and even the ones we love to hate) characters. My 7 month old was in awe of the lights, dancing, skating etc. and he didn't fuss once during the 2 hour event. The show is great itself and the skating takes it to a whole other level. We will be making this an annual family event!

  • Disney on ice was amazing

by jenlsprinkle on 2/14/16Van Andel Arena - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

I have never been to one of these shows before. My husband and I took our 3 year old and I don't know who had more fun! The joy on her face made everything so worth it. I loved the quick pace, low down time, and the excitement of the production. Great show!!!

  • Wonderful!

by earnedgrandmapoints on 2/11/16Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Disney on Ice was fabulous! Skating was incredible. The characters waved to everyone. We were in row F of our section (115 - on the side near the stage) and my granddaughters were convinced they were all waving at them. This is truly something they will never forget. We gave it as a family Christmas present so it was very much anticipated and lived up to that.

  • Solid production, Extremely expensive!

by blayer on 2/10/16Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

As you would expect from a Disney production, this show didn't disappoint with regard to quality and sound. The issue I had with it was the dated character set. None of the newer Disney characters were part of the performance. Buzz and Woody may have been the newest of the bunch! The other issue was the relatively short length of the show - 80 minutes or so - with a 30-minute intermission. For what you pay for a ticket ($28 adult, $18 child), this seemed short. But I'd say my biggest complaint was the cost of the souvenirs. $12 for a bag of cotton candy that included a plastic crown! $30 for a lighted snowflake wand! $16 for a plastic sword and sheath! Not to mention the cost of the refreshments. Ridiculous! Anyway, our grandkids had fun - though disappointed Ana and Elsa weren't part of the show! Just make sure you have saved a few extra pennies before you go!

  • very magical time

by mrswoodstock on 2/10/16Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

My mother and I took my daughters (3 and 1 years old) to this event. we were very pleased with it. it had something for all of us. From Snow white from my mom's youth, to Aladdin from mine and of course Minnie Mouse and Toy Story are my oldest daughter's favorite. Our seats were wonderful for the price we paid (25$). We are hoping Disney on Ice presents Frozen comes to our area bc my daughters, mom and I enjoyed it so much.
