My 2 year old daughter enjoyed the whole show. The interaction with the crowd was amazing and it kept her going. Definitely a great experience.
We took our 3 year old granddaughter to see this show and she was mesmerized by the whole performance! She did not even move! I thought it was really cute and we enjoyed the performance also!
My family and I have been to every Disney on Ice that comes to Columbus, Ohio. This one was fast paced and just fun to watch. PROS: interaction with crowd, costumes and routines were amazing, and set was fantastic. CONS: price of merchandise and 'food', noses (The most blatent, fakest costume noses that I've ever seen!), and skill of the ice skaters. There were at least 3-4 falls in our show alone (On the other hand, props to them---I can't skate and commend them for doing all that they do. I was just surprised to see as many falls as we did. Kids didn't notice though!)
loved how they highlighted holidays halloween christmas and birthdays!!
My family and I absolutely loved it! My husband and I took our 7 year old, 5 year old, and 3 year old and we all had such a great time! I love how they worked in all of the different characters (especially Jack the pumpkin king!) The singing and dancing with my family was wonderful. We're all looking forward to next year so our youngest is old enough to go (:
The ice skaters were top notch, and each princess and her prince had a song to shine. The villains all came out for an appearance in one number which was so great, maybe a little too scary for a few younger ones, but not too bad. The characters really interacted with the audience, asking questions from time to time, and if you were lucky enough to be right in the first row, they waved and winked at them and even gave a few lucky ones a flower. The songs were really well-coordinated and you really got to see pretty much all the favorites, however, NO FROZEN CHARACTERS- so don't listen to he Frozen soundtrack and get your child's hopes up like I unfortunately did. Each character got their moment to shine though, and they all were amazing. It moved quickly and there was an intermission for a few minutes. It was a great mix of characters and types of music and really cool costumes and props. My five year old and I loved it!
Not nearly as good as the shows have been in the past. Little kids around me still loved it, but it used to be impressive for the whole family. Mostly it was just a lot of people in costumes skating around in circles, with the occasional trick thrown in. The music was absolutely dreadful, which is something my entire group, ranging from ages 9 to 33, felt.
We really enjoyed the show! BUT. I also payed almost $70 for just me and my 3 year old daughter. We had basic seats.. Plus $10 for parking.. Really enjoyed but probably won't go again if it's that costly. It made my daughter very happy so I appreciate that.
Nice for kids under 6 I took my 8 years old son he enjoyed but not too much.
Great show lots of characters that you don't normally see. Plus got to see the new princess for the new movie.
Unfortunately, this year's Disney on Ice was a disappointment. Hardly any large stage props which have been present in previous shows and make the show exciting. My husband and I both nearly fell asleep and our daughter asked to leave before the show was over.
My kids and I had a great time. The show was entertaining and worth the cost of admission. The only complaint from the kids - it was missing the Frozen characters.
The show was tacky, but my 2 year old liked it. We upgraded our seats which were terrible. A glow stick was $30!
We were disappointed in the selections in this Disney on Ice performance. The Halloween production was very inappropriate for young children and my grandson was very scared of the lead ghost male ice skater. He wanted to leave while watching and I told him just to close his eyes and not watch it while he was hiding his face in my shoulder. I also noticed the little girls sitting in front of me were also scared. I always think of Disney as being a fun magical experience, not this dark evil creation that took the spotlight. The other parts of the program that featured Mickey and Minnie, Daisy and Donald, Pluto and Goofy, Buzz Lightyear and the princesses were first class with the costumes and story lines. The skaters were terrific also! Last years' Disney on Ice with the cars theme was much better!
3 adults and 3 kids ages 2-3 years old (1boy, 2 girls), had a great time. The girls loved the Princesses and Mickey and Minnie. The Halloween Villians and the Fantasia parts were not really for them. Just kinda lost their interest at those points. Then the end with Buzz, Woody and Jessie wasn't long enough. More Toy Story please. Maybe the kids were a little too young to fully get the program, but overall, a fun show.
Myself and 4 of my family members went including my 2 year old grandchild. He loved it and couldn't stop clapping and cheering. He was mesmerized by the sights and sounds, and seeing Mickey Mouse on stage. This show was very memorable!
Show was amazing!!! My 3 year old had a blast-saw lots of Disney characters not just usual Mickey, Minnie, Donald, daisy and goofy!
The show was very well lighted, choreographed, and timed. I took my 3 year old daughter, and it was the perfect length of time to expect a toddler to sit quietly. The intermission helps too. We really enjoyed seeing a lot of Disney characters in one show, and the show made pretty good segues between each scene. The skaters are so good that you often forget they're performing on ice. Very well done!
I have been to other Disney on Ice shows before and this ones story seemed all over the place. I had a hard time staying intrested in the theme and my kids wanted to leave by intermission time. A few times it was hard to tell what character was "talking" because their movements did not match the words very well and there were a lot of falls on the ice. Some of the costumes looked pretty old too. I was worried about the venue and about being able to see well from our seats but overall it was fine. The toys were up to $30 each and it was $20 for a picture (very low on ink) with a cardboard pop-up character. But I expected that going in and that was okay. We spent $550 for 4 adults and 4 kids to attend, eat and drink and get 1 gift. I really would have just preferred a better storyline and theme to keep our attention and maybe a tad bit better acting.
When I first bought the ticket in my mind I thought this was so out of my league just due to it be a child thing. I had my 7 and 8 year old who really love it. I actually love it as well. it took me back to when I was a kid and remember my Disney experience. What a great experience. It was fun on every level. But most important it was a great experience for my kids.
