We had so much fun. We danced and sang. Go take your friends and enjoy
It was like watching the movie with high school band. It was very disappointing for the money! Everyone thought there would be dancing. Very over priced! The intermission was confusing too.
Highly recommend seeing this after so many years. The live band and vocals brought a new dimension so the music and story. Such a fun night of nostalgia and if you’ve never seen the movie, you’re in for a treat! Many Broadway stars are in this movie.
This was a fantastic show. I would recommend it to anyone, any age.
Was looking forward to seeing Dirty Dancing and was thoroughly amazed with the production, nothing I ever imagtioned . IT WAS THE BEST PERFORMANCE, EVER. I am still talking about it 3 days later
Great evening! Had a lovely time……super energy! Love Dirty Dancing!!
It was a neat experience. You can’t go wrong with Dirty Dancing in general, and the live music was pretty cool. I would have given it 5 stars, but I did feel like it was a bit overpriced for what it was. I also didn’t think the intermission was unnecessary. Overall, it was a fun night and I’d do it again but I’d wait for ticket prices to drop.
This was not what I expected. The band had a nice sound but I felt like it was blurb. If you know what I mean. Not super exciting but it was Dirty Dancing so you know, it was good. Idk. Maybe I thought there would be some type of dancing but they all just stood in the same spots and it wasn’t for me. But still had a nice time, and they had a nice sound to them.
Movie music and dialog competed with the live music - lost much of the charm of the movie and the music. Very loud and annoying people directly behind in orchestra seats that we both paid $75/$80 each. Women behind us were yelling and hooting. This was not a concert - many times we had to cover our ears because of their high volume. This made a less than impressive event verge on awful.
The singing with the movie is cool, but absolutely not what was advertised what I was expecting and felt very let down. The real issue though is that in the introduction they encouraged people to get up and dance, causing people to randomly block others view through out the movie. A complete waste of money.
The screen should have been bigger but always a good movie
Great vibe, great movie, great singers, great band and dancing. GREAT value for the money!! Was just right - not too short not too long! So fun to see one of our favorite movies in this way! Hope that more events will come like this!
Great show. It was super cool how the singers and band became part of the movie! Loved it! The volume of the singers and man’s could have been turned down a bit though. Overall, it was a GREAT show!
Evening had a really good vibe, it was not too long/short of a performance, Singers and Band and the Dancing were excellent! and so fun to watch, in this setting, the movie that we all have come to love! Great nite out and great value for the money! Bring on more of these evenings and we'll be there!
It was fun, but not what I expected. I enjoyed it but a little too expensive for what it was. 120.00 each was too much.
The concept was great and the performances were fantastic! It was unfortunate that most left when the movie ended and missed a fabulous Dirty Dancing Dance party. This part of the show needs to be better advertised and expected so people don't leave when the movie ends. If you go, and you should if you love Dirty Dancing and Patrick Swayze, stay till the end of the Dance party.
The live band was awesome. Stay for the after party and enjoy the music.
Watch the movie at home. The singers were good. I was expecting some sort of dancing.
I guess I need to pay better attention to detail but I was expecting a live performance vs watching the movie on a big screen! On a positive note, the band and vocalists were very good and I thoroughly enjoyed the sing/song afterwards. I think a lot of people left right afterwords and missed the best part.
