Dirty Dancing in Concert Tickets

Would like to have seen live dancers on stage with musicians not just the movie running in the background!

Really enjoyed it. Would like to see more shows like it

Live music with the movie playing in the background. Very unique experience.

Unlike 90% of the reviewers here, I actually took the time to research this event, prior to purchasing tickets. The vast majority of negative reviews are from ignorant consumers, with false expectations. I was fully aware of what I was paying for, and IT WAS AWESOME ! There is an undeniable energy that comes with watching this movie with a group of die hard fans. It is much more than just "watching the movie". The crowd cheered when Johnny first appeared. The iconic lines were recited in unison. The fans danced and sang along during the live musical performances. The live singers and the band were top notch, and added so much more depth to the movie watching experience. At the conclusion of the film (which ends on musical high note), the band immediately transitions into a full on concert experience. Even if you are a casual fan of the movie and/or soundtrack, I highly recommend experiencing it "live"!

We originally bought these tickets for Valentine’s Day thinking it would be a live adaptation of the film. We learned a few days before it was just the movie playing on screen with a live band performing the movies soundtrack. We were very skeptical but decided to go anyway and it was such a good time! There were so many more songs than we remembered and the band was so fun and had great vocals. The audience cheered and sang along the entire time and was very interactive. The after party wasn’t too long but they got everyone up and dancing and celebrating. It was different and definitely worth giving a shot. I wouldn’t mind watching more movies like this.

Unsure at first but really enjoyed the show. The band was really good as they provided the full musical complement to the show. They hung on for a good half hour after the visual portion of the show and provided a musical dance party. Liked the show enough that we would go to it again even if a moderate drive was required.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!! Total waste of money!!! Not even fun! Watch the movie with your friends, get a karaoke machine and sing along with it you will have more fun!

This was extremely disappointing. Dirty Dancing is one of my wife's favorite movies and we were excited to go to the show. It was terrible. Had technical issues which in themselves wasn't a huge issue but it kept happening. Add that to the low grade production that could have been pulled off better by a high school made us leave early. If it was $20 a ticket it would have been understandable but we paid a lot and expected a quality show.

I was very disappointed. I could have watched the movie at home with the sound board on! Can’t believe I paid that much to watch a movie. I was very much under the impression we were going to a musical!

This was no show….just played the movie with a little bit of live music! I could have stayed home and watched the movie for free instead of paying to see something I’ve already seen. Terrible show!

This was not what I was expecting. I wasn't expecting to watch the Dirty Dancing movie...I thought that it would be dancing & singing. The best part was after the movie ended. But we were also disappointed that the Auditorium did not have the big screens on either side to be able to see the performers on stage up close. However, we had great seats & got a great parking space!

It was fun but not what I expected. Didn’t realize we would be watching a movie instead o seeing something live.

If you like Dirty Dancing, this is for you. It is such a great show with amazing singers and a wonderful band. The party at the end is a can't miss. Overall, 10/10, would go again if they return.

Thought it was a play not a concert! Completely overpriced and disappointing

Best inever seen we watch the movie and sang along to live music from the movie. The after that we had a dance party the singers song the music to the movie again and the we daced to it all super good and fun. Love it want to go again if they do another show here in Utica.

We enjoyed the show but wished there was more activity on stage like maybe have dancers while the dance scenes took place? It seemed like the only live action was at the end for the final song.

Very disappointed in this show. If I had known I was spending $162 to watch the original movie on a big screen with the band sitting under it(playing occasionally), I would have just watched it on DVD at home and saved myself a lot of money.

The entire experience was amazing!!! Loved the music and energy the performance brought to the stage. Highly recommend Dirty Dancing in Concert.

Was very disappointed. Didn’t realize we’d be sitting watching the movie on a screen and watching people stand every now and then to sing.

I enjoyed how the movie and live band was done together. The singing by the group after the movie was a great recap of a memorable movie.
