  • A fun date night!

by Kelly on 10/27/23DeVos Performance Hall - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

We enjoyed Dirty Dancing. The musicians were perfectly in sync with the movie and displayed great talent. We loved the crowd participation. The sing & dance-along at the end was especially fun!

  • Disappointed

by Rc on 10/27/23DeVos Performance Hall - Grand RapidsRating: 3 out of 5

Expected some dancing at least at the end. Sound was not good at times.

  • Over priced

by Tgr on 10/27/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 2 out of 5

Very much over priced to watch a movie on screen. I feel that what this was could have been clearly described in the ads. Misleading. Landmark is known for beautiful musicals not a "movie theater "I paid $118.00 to watch a movie that I could have watched at home.

  • Unique experience

by Mary4047 on 10/25/23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

We truly did not know what to expect. There were 3 large screens with a live band/group on stage. The entire movie was shown on the screens, during the music the movie was muted and the live group played the music live. The 3 lead signers were dressed as the 3 lead characters in the movie. I will say that if you are not a Dirty Dancing junky that you probably wouldn't enjoy it as much as we did.

  • Excellent surprise

by Kris on 10/23/23Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The format was not what I expected but it exceeded my expectations. Excellent music and vocals. It had been canceled due to illness but was totally worth the wait

  • Musicians Were Fantastic!

by Susie on 10/23/23Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

Movie on screen was good, live musicians were outstanding. However, the sound in the auditorium was very bad. So loud it was impossible to understand what the characters in the movie were saying. Loved the music; very disappointed in the sound system.

  • WONDERFUL

  • Dirty Dancing in Concert

by JAC on 10/23/23Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Not knowing what to expect, what a pleasant surprise.. Loved watching the actual movie while the singers sang the songs throughout the movie. It was a great concert and after the movie ended, it was awesome the singers and band played all the full songs from the movie and the crowd sang along and danced. Fun concert.

  • Produced nicely

by Peanut on 10/23/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 3 out of 5

Many thought it was a production. The movie did feel somewhat live, the music/band were right on key. It was done nicely but a production would have made all the difference.

  • Great Night of Fun..!

    by themp3dj on 10/23/23Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't sure how I would like this format (movie and a band) but the backing vocals and band was better than expected and the crowd was truly into it up dancing and shouting.

  • Not worth the Price

by Melissa on 10/23/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 2 out of 5

It’s not what you would expect … just a movie with a band … no excitement during the movie. Huge disappointment when the move is so full of dancing … yes I know it says live in concert .. but could be more for the price of the tickets.

  • Not what we expected

by Granny on 10/22/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 3 out of 5

I honestly thought that the show was going to be live! Had seen the movies several times and the live added music in front was ok but like I said not expected!

  • Very entertaining

by joanne on 10/22/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 4 out of 5

I really like the format of movie, band/orchestra and dancing on stage, it brings an excited vibe to the theatre and all enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. My suggestions for improvement at the Landmark Theatre if they continue to do movie events is to get a larger screen. Additionally, more employees are needed for concessions. Thank you.

  • sleeping in Syracuse

I paid $3.50 to see this movie back in the day. twenty times that tonight was definitely not worth it.

  • Disappointing

    by Tonya136 on 10/22/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 1 out of 5

What a rip off While this is still best movie of all time the performance did not do it justice. It was just a showing of the movie with a few people singing every now and then along with the songs would’ve love to see some dancing more interaction anything

  • Great concert!

by Auntilis on 10/22/23Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 5 out of 5

ALL of the musicians were AMAZING!!!!! I really enjoyed seeing the movie again. My husband mainly watched the performers. The crowd was full of excitement and enthusiasm, making it even more fun! The Landmark Theater is always a great place to see any performance. I heard people (men) complaining about the ticket prices. We paid $60 for excellent seats. For this particular show, in the Landmark theater, I am not sure we needed great seats because the movie screen was huge and the acoustics were wonderful. I am pretty sure any seats would have been good. Enjoyed it!!!!

  • Done Dirty

by Dee on 10/17/23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 1 out of 5

The cheap seat at 45+ to sit and watch the movie with a live band playing ! What a waste of money!

  • Very disappointed

by Lisa on 10/16/23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 1 out of 5

A lot of money for ticket to show, just to watch the movie on the screen. We thought it would be more like a play or at least some people dancing on the stage but you watch the movie and then 3 people would sing the songs along to the movie then they would sit down. Very disappointing

  • Love the movie, but….

by Dee on 10/16/23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 3 out of 5

Ok so of course we all love the Classic movie Dirty Dancing, but when I purchase tickets to see this for around $70 Canadian to see at Windsor‘s casino in the Colosseum I expected it to be a full on play. However, it was basically the movie viewing with a live band and singers. Although the band was great, and the singers were on point, this was just not what I anticipated, I was paying money for. I had seen dirty dancing in Toronto many years ago, and it was the full on play with actors and actresses, singing, and carrying on the whole performance. It was excellent. I was hoping for a repeat performance of that not a movie screening. Still a great time enjoying the nostalgic film, but I don’t think I was alone in a little bit of disappointment.
